We enjoyed eating here today. The vibe was very much a diner feel with a unique Mediterranean feel. This is very much a gem in the rough. While the outside appearance is spartan, the inside was full of people enjoying their meals. The wait staff were helpful and knowledgeable, providing quality service and answering questions well. We had an appetizer of Baba Ghannouj. Served with Pita, this was a great start for our meal. Simple and tasty, we enjoyed it immensely. My wife ordered the Rosemary Pizza. I was lucky enough that she shared a slice with me, honestly might have been one of the best pizzas that I’ve ever enjoyed. A perfect mix of gooey and crisp. I ordered the Combo Plate. A great way to sample their menu! The salad was simple, yet it was a delightful accent to the rest of the meal. The chicken and rice were seasoned just nice enough that it was full of flavor yet not overwhelming to the tastebuds. In summery, a delightful place to enjoy a meal that is both beautiful and filling.

Best food and service ever! The food was made fresh to order and so delish! It was like eating in my grandparents kitchen! The owner was so nice and sweet, he even catered to our picky eater and got her to try Baba Ganoush!!! And she loved it! We will for sure eat here again during our yearly vacay trip to the beach! Thank you Layla's!

I wanted something healthy and delicious. I decided to go to Layla’s, and it did not disappoint! The customer service was awesome. The food came out hot with a generous serving. I cleaned my plate! It was awesome.

My first visit here. Had the Mubarack plate and Turkish coffee. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The servers were quite hospitable and friendly. I will return.

Excellent food and amazing environment. Staff is friendly and service was quick. If you’re a fan of coffee; highly suggest getting a Turkish coffee pot.

I appreciated the freshness of the food here. We ordered Veggie plate with hummus, baba ganoush, parsley salad with pita bread, roasted garlic veggie pizza, and Syrian salad. Everything was good. I just wish they had baklava as well, that they didn’t. The food is very reasonable prices as well.

Layla’s give a hole in the wall feeling of a place - with all the exquisiteness of a wonderful HITW restaurant. The place is busy as as can be with a diverse collection of people and nationality. The staff smiles at you as if you were a cousin coming to enjoy the food. The food tasted as if it was freshly carved to perfection. Juicy without any sense of the dreaded desiccated feeling of something pre-done or over fried. This Mubarek Plate (Gyro, Chicken, Beef Kifta, and Kibbeh, all over a bed of turmeric rice.) had it all, but of exceptional note is the gyros and kifta, which had all the elements one may expect.

I had a great experience at Layla's. I've eaten at many Greek restaurants in the area and this might be my favorite. Hole in the wall place, but don't let that discourage you from going Service was excellent, she was very attentive to my needs and heard her explaining the menu to other tables. The gyro plate was FULL of meat! It came with a nice little salad and the taziki sauce was very good, probably homemade! I ordered the tabouli salad which had tons of parsley and needed more barely. The hummus was excellent and had a decent little kick on top. The pita bread was fresh and warm. They have a large menu, so I will be back to try more!

The hubby and I love Layla's! The food is fantastic! We usually order the same thing (combo plate & chicken lamb kifka sandwich), but that's how we know their consistency is on point. We typically order takeout and the food is always still hot by the time we get home. It's been a little while since we visited last (trying to cook more at home), so it was really endearing that the owner immediately recognized us and gave us the warmest welcoming! We will be back again and again and again.

Delicious food and fast service. The owner takes a lot of pride in the cooking and is very friendly. Do not be turned away from the location. This place has good food and charm. The tzaziki sauce is thick and elevates the flavor of every meal. The gyros are thinly sliced

Some of the best Mediterranean/ Greek food around. Not a better value for the money. Greek calzone pictured. Hummus and Falafel are great also.

Food is AWESOME here, been here a few times. I don't live close by so wherever I am in the area I make sure to stop by and eat at Layla's. I am always eating the same dish cause is so good, my friend did try other dishes and he likes them all so far. Next time I will try other dishes cause I am sure all of them are great.

Possibly the best Mediterranean food I've had in LR. People there were amazing and made sure I had everything I needed. Best service by the server and cooks. TY

Service is impeccable, the staff is incredibly friendly and the food is wonderful. Plus you get a lot of food for the price you pay. I've never had anything bad on the menu.

Wonderful menu, incredible-tasting food, immaculate bathrooms, and genuinely lovely service. Our five-year-old felt like royalty. We had hummus for starters, the Spanakopita Plate, the Chicken Plate, a cheese pizza, Turkish Coffee, and baklava. Everything I just typed was amazing. For the first time ever, we had perfect baklava. EVERY other place we've tried in Arkansas that offers baklava makes it too sweet or drowns it in honey on top. Ugh. No thanks. Layla's served a gorgeously presented baklava that was a lovely dance of pistachio, honey, and everything else. It was light and delicious even as a left over the next day. We ordered extra to take home. The meats in the Spanakopita make you feel like you're at a family picnic on a Sunday afternoon and some uncle has been laboring over a fire with them. We visited at an odd time when the place was empty except for one other table. Your mileage may vary but I have a hard time imagining the food tasting bad. It is our new favorite restaurant in Little Rock. I never caught the nice man's name that kept referring to me as 'my friend' but thank you for the wonderful experience and all your staff's hard work.

I had the lamb and ground beef, I was disappointed because the meat came fried and hard to eat. I had heard the good was great. It must have been an off day. I was expecting a juice meal. It was hard to chew. I will give them another chance. Hope it will not be over done!

Leyla’s place very sincere and delicious. I enjoyed eating there. The foods are cooked well and the variety of choices is making a big difference. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. It is easy park and the food comes fast enough. Have not you try? You will like it

I love Layla’s & we have picked up/dined in often. However, we have ordered in twice since they started bite squad delivery. The first time I ordered the gyro salad no meat was included & the second time ordering the gyro salad I made a special comment on including the gyro meat & only got a box full of sautéed vegetables. Odd. Highly recommend picking up or eating in, but not delivery.

The gyro meat was dry and didn’t taste good. The salad was full of water, and the tomatoes tasted like they were previously frozen.

Goat, lamb and Chicken were delicious!!! Pitas, so soft and fluffy. Best food I've eaten in months!!!!

  • 4/5 Josh C. 6 months ago on Google
The food is always good and they have some good options. They are always out of the goat. The service is nice enough, but they always let your drink run dry and aren't very attentive. They also just tend to be slow overall, so don't come if you're in a hurry. Otherwise, I do recommend it. It's just a little hole in the wall type place with good food. You walk up to the counter to pay, but there's no indication of that, so consider yourself informed.

Not sure why this place is rated 4.7! Food's taste was okay But it was not a clean place at all.
