I WOULDN'T GO HERE IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!!!!! my sister was accused of stealing and shoving things in her pants by the man in the picture. He got in her face yelling at her accusing her humiliating her until she finally broke down and pulled her pants down to show there was nothing in there. After he saw that there was clearly nothing in her pants he then told his boss that he never accused her of anything after humiliation he then lied on her. What made it worse is his boss okayed this behavior and backed him up on his wrong doing. Don't go here if u don't want to be humiliated or chastised for purchasing items

Cool little shop with some neat items. We like to get our incense and other items here. I will say the masking policy is getting ridiculous. I’ll return when that is done away with.

Cute and quirky, this place has candles, tarot cards and so much more. I was surprised how much business they get being upstairs. They still require masks (ugh), but provide them for you.

Best metaphysical shop in Lexington. Large variety of items and will help you get ahold of anything they don't have readily available.

I LOVE this shop! Their selection is excellent. They've got books, candles, incense, posters, crystals, Tibetan singing bowls (small and large), stickers, doormats, sage, Palo Santo, wands etc... Masks are required but they have some at the top of the stairs before you walk in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The shop has good vibes. I would absolutely recommend stopping in!

sQecial Media is such a unique and nice little store! I frequently visit to grab incense, candles, and other such items. However, they have so much more than that. Ranging from crystals, statues, books, tapestries, herbs, and a whole lot of other stuff! Items are fairly priced, the store is clean and organized, and the staff is immensely helpful. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit up in Lexington! Plus, they do not require masks anymore which is a plus! Makes it easier to smell the incense and candles.

Unique products that are are functional, beautiful, and whimsical. Helpful employees. Great prices. A Lexington must visit gem!

I am an avid journaler and have come here once before for journals during the pandemic. Yet years later, they are still requiring you to wear a mask, and God forbid you don't have it over your nose and fitted properly… because the lady in the store will stop you and tell you to put it on “properly”. Save your time, sanity, and money and shop elsewhere like B&N. They constantly have sales and discounts and your not required to wear a mask! I wont be returning here again.

I've been going here since I was little. This was my mom's favorite store and it's still a funny and calming place to be. It's great for gifts, alternative books. I could stare at the gems and stickers for days. A whole spot a serotonin in quirky layout! Will always recommend!

I've been coming to sQecial Media for decades. There really is no other place like it. Stuff in this store that you will find nowhere else in the area. Oddities and incense, books, tapestries, items from all over the world. Staff has always been super friendly. If you are in Lexington you must visit this store. I Visited this weekend to learn this was their 50th year in business. Congrats sQecial!

Turned away at the door signs up requiring masks for entry. What if one has a medical condition? Discrimination. Never shop here again

I love this place, they've got everything. Crystals, incense, books on a variety of topics spiritual educational and casual, manga, soaps, candies, jewelry, pride flags, blankets, posters, candles, tarot cards, you name it. Highly recommend!

This is a neat place for alt culture things and knowledge. If you go downstairs then there's a cool guy who owns the record shop down there. This is a great place for alt culture, underground, and media acquisition. 3 out of 10 deportations and I'm totally coming back.
