Went here a few months ago for lunch. Service was just okay; hard to get their attention. She also didn't seem keen on explaining about the oysters. We didn't even know they had oysters and found it odd for not having them at the seafood restaurant. Menus and drinks were just okay too, neither bad nor good. Tasted like something that anyone can whip up without effort. No temperature control on fish, nor attention to flavors. Had a view to the lake so I guess that was a nice part of the visit. The place was decently clean. IMO there're better seafood restaurants to visit in Seattle.

I came here for dinner on Friday night and had to wait for about 20 minutes to get a table outdoors. The view is pretty good and service overall was pretty good. We started with the dingy prawn chowder and salmon bites. They provided a free warm sour dough bread which paired well with the chowder. The salmon bites were pretty good as well. For mains my wife took the crab cakes which was pretty tasty and flavorful. I got the Parmesan halibut which had a great taste and amazing crust. The side potatoes were tasty as well. My friend took the stuffed salmon which was okay , lacked salt for our taste but otherwise good. We ended meal with the pier pie which tasted well but lacked presentation. Overall a great experience and definitely recommend it.

Delicious food and an excellent setting. The crab cake is superior. Great views from the dining room, knowledgeable and helpful service all make this a great option. We had fish and chips, the mixed grill and salmon fettuccine, all excellent. The best appetizer is the calamari steak strips.

My wife surprises me for my birthday. We sit table #2 that you can see the awesome view. Food was tasty, server treated us extra nice, and they offered free dessert for my birthday (no charge). Only thing is there is no restaurant parking lot due to close by pier. But, the parking fee was only $5 (not that bad). I think it is a lot better eat this place than one that nearby alki beach.

Wanted to try some nice fresh seafood while we were in Seattle and because I knew we'd be in the area, I made a reservation for an outdoor lunch at Duke's. The view is amazing and refreshing, and the service was great. But the food... oh my golly, the food! Everything we ate was delicious. I've ever had calamari steaks before but I don't think I can ever go back to regular O-shaped ones. The salmon pasta dish was amazing. Please try the chicken corn chowder!

The food is really good here. I ordered salmon and it was cooked perfectly tender. The creamy butter and the pesto sauce with bits of pine nut went really well with the salmon. I liked the way the potato and asparagus were cooked, it Crunchy and yet it had the nice rosemary flavor incorporated. The sourdough bread was just warm with salted butter can look simple but when you have that first bite you understand the goodness. I walked-in to the restaurant as I was passing by this place. It was around 5pm and there was lot of empty tables and yet the staff didn’t seat me in a table. I found this ostentatious. They have valet service and I believe they take care of the parking.

We were only in Seattle for the weekend but we knew we wanted a seafood experience while there. It just made complete sense 😎 Saw wonderful reviews of Dukes Seafood and we can see why. We are from both coasts and East and West agreed just beautiful. Service was spot on and made it that much more enjoyable. Blood Orange Margarita perfect. Super Calamari Strips fresh and served with just right combination of breading and spice. The award winning clam chowders a must. The Lobster Mobster was good but I was floored by the Clam Chowder. It’s NE style taken up a level trust me. Our main courses were Prawn, Scallops and Crab “Uncake” and Dungeness Crab filled stuffed Halibut . Perfectly served and made us both realize how much we miss restaurants that can serve seafood at this level. Highly recommend you visit Duke’s.

We came looking for a seafood restaurant on the Lake Union and found the perfect place! We ordered the crab cakes which had the perfect amount of crab (and not the fillers). We also ordered Pacific cod and Pan seared salmon. We also came during happy hour and they have an extensive variety of appetizers/drinks/lunch items to choose from compared to most other happy hour seafood establishments. Highly recommend this place for seafood lovers!

Duke’s Seafood in Seattle’s south Lake Union is a seaside food gem with a yacht-club meets Friends bar vibe, efficient service and epic seaside view. Rockfish tacos are loaded with fish and delectable slaw, and topped with Thai sweet hot chili sauce. Chipotle bacon burger also a bravo! Sourdough bread is mouth watering fresh. Make reservations or arrive in atypical times. There is elevator entrance and stair entrance - restaurant is on second level.

The outdoor seating view is astounding! Being able to look at the sea, ships, and water-plane taking off along with seafood is a delightful experience, for both for tourists and locals. For the food, bread is okay, but a bit too doughy, not fluffy enough. The Fish & Chips is fine. I only wish the coating of fish could be lighter. This time it is a bit too thick. It also looks like it has been fried a bit too long, as the coating doesn’t look light yellow but dark orange.

Went here for the gluten free clam chowder and oh my goodness it was so good. We had the maple seafood bites and deviled eggs with crab as well, and they were amazing. (All gluten free!) The oysters were very fresh and served with some great cocktail sauce. I don’t know our waiters name but he was super amazing. Answered all my gluten free questions.

Love happy hour here! They are also VERY accommodating to parties with kids for how busy they get. Recently attended an event on the pavement patio and it was beautiful. A must go for a visit to Seattle. The salmon pesto bites are my favorite, the crab cakes are tasty even if crab isn’t your favorite! Photos are non specific but show the unfiltered aesthetic.

Stopped by for dinner and really loved it! I would highly recommend the clam chowder, salad and fish&chips. They do have oysters for $3 a piece. Service can be a bit choppy but not horrible. Just need a reminder here and there (for missing orders) or you just need to ask the right person (i was told to look on the menu for oysters price which... wasn't there). It wasn't horrible though. They have great drink menus too! :D

5 out of 5, no question. Varied menu, FRESH seafood, excellent service, amazing view, great ambience, what more does one need? Stopped in for a quick bite and a glass of wine, it was perfect. The wine was yummy, and the oysters were VERY fresh! This is one place we will continue to visit time and time again, guaranteed!

This was a great dining experience top to bottom. The service was just right, nothing more, nothing less. And the food was just divine. Oh and great views too.

Duke’s is an amazing seafood restaurant with a casual, laid back atmosphere. Great views over South Lake Union and fun decorations inside to fit the view. The salmon and crab cakes are excellent and I would definitely come again. Food The salmon pasta was one of my favorite dishes that I tried. The salmon was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy and I loved eating it with the white sauce. The vegetables were a nice touch and went well with the pasta. I would highly recommend getting the crab cake if you have a chance. The menu says that it’s mostly crab and not a lot of cake and that was definitely true. Tons of crab on top of a slice of bread. Make sure to scoop up some sauce. Atmosphere The inside is decorated with a seaside feel and gives it a casual vibe. The views of the lake are nice and unobstructed. During the summer, Dukes is a perfect place to enjoy the lake. Pricing The prices for food here is on the higher side (as it is seafood). The food is good though and the views and vibes are worth paying for in my opinion. Service The service was really good and the wait staff was very nice and good at answering any questions. Food came out quick. Other

I am aware that some locals might disagree but I had some really good clam chowder at the place. It is a pricey joint but the food and service was impeccable. The devilled eggs with the crab was also quite delicious. They even served a small menu with the dishes for us to take back home, alongside the food which I thought was quite creative.

The foods were delicious. Decent views of the marina from the outdoors deck. Service was prompt, our server was very nice and courteous. I ordered shrimp tacos and my husband had the cod tacos. Good sized portions and came on the very cute fish plates. Lots of shrimp in my tacos with colored peppers, onion and a tasty sauce. There's also a sauce on the side that's super tasty. My husband liked his cod tacos, loaded with fresh tasting fish and cheese, sauce and various toppings. Portions were good sizes. Came with fresh chips. Overall we had a nice experience and definitely would be back. This's the Duke's at Lake Union.

Truly a special treat. There was a wait for a table so I sat at the bar, and the service was prompt, friendly, and professional. I loved all the gluten free options on the menu. The views over the lake were fantastic, even at the bar there were mirrors above that displayed the marina beautifully. Everything tasted amazing and the atmosphere really captured everything you look for in a seafood joint!

I have been to Seattle several times but had never been to Dukes before. Now, having been, I will always come here. I have to eat gluten-free, and there were so many options for me, including the clam chowder, which is almost never gluten-free at other restaurants. The food was excellent. Throw in the amazing view, and it made for a wonderful experience!

The location is great, you get a nice view of Lake Union. Food was decent, I got the halibut quesadilla and the award winning clam chowder. The halibut quesadilla was great, but on the salty side. The clam chowder is not winning any awards in my book, however, as it was too salty and tasted more like gravy than clam chowder. I couldn't taste the clam in that chowder. Service was good, just as you'd expect. Oh, and there's free bread and butter, which is a win.

We sat outside and had a lovely view. The calamari steaks were fantastic to start. I had a special gnocchi and my husband had fish and chips. Everything was clearly very fresh with very generous portions.

Duke's is always a must-do when in the area for work or pleasure. Consistently good quality food. The newer Lake Union location is awesome (views, patio, parking, etc). The service is ok, it may be they have been short staffed but my last few times there it's not been as good as it used to be. And one in our group, a non-seafood eater went with the burger and said it was quite good. The Cesar and chopped salads as well as the chowder and complimentary sour-dough are always people-pleasers.

We are from out of town, and originally I was a bit hesitant to come to Duke’s due to the prices being a bit higher for some of the mains. We originally went to a different restaurant, and that place ended up being so bad that we left after 15 mins. We then walked to Duke’s and are SO glad we did. Some of the best seafood we’ve ever had anywhere in the world, and the best meal we’ve had in recent memory. Thank you Duke’s, for rescuing our evening and being one od the best memories of our trip so far! For specifics — great view on the lake, great decoration inside. Enjoyed the option to sample their different chowders. Even with the “small dinghy” size, we both had a ton of seafood in our chowders. Our waiter recommended the stuffed halibut with crab meat. We both got it and it is totally worth the price —it’s one of the best things either of us has ever eaten. Great sourdough bread too, served hot. Even the drinks and desserts were all very high quality. At under $5 for a sampler chowder and for ice cream, overall the prices for a whold meal were reasonable and completely fair for the high quality. In fact, we only spent $20 more on the whole bill, to eat at Duke’s as we did a very casual counter service restaurant the night before, and the quality and experience was 100% nicer at Duke’s. We would recommend them to anyone.

Marvelous place for dinner. Great on a Tuesday dinner time when you can watch the Tuesday sail racing. It's every Tuesday and a great view from the restaurant. Good is delicious and comes very fast! Cocktails are great tasting without overpowering alcohol aftertaste. It's a very popular and busy place so definitely recommend to book ahead even on a weekday. Highly recommend this place and it's only a small 10-15 minutes walk from the Seattle center. It's a save walk to so can recommend that.

Had an awesome lunch. The fish & chips as well as the loco loco prawns were good. The chowder is award winning and yummy. The views from the seating are great. Try to get outdoor seating and enjoy the lake union views.

What a great location for dinner and drinks overlooking Lake Union. We had the award-winning clam chowder (superb!) and the panko-breaded fish and chips. Very thick cuts of cod and not greasy. Highly recommended!

So good we went back the next night! The food was amazing. The wait staff was extremely professional and busy. The outside seating was awesome. Heaters on the rail kept the outside and the next row of table comfortable. The crab stuffed halibut with the sauce was fantastic. Fish tacos, 🌮 yum. The best I've ever had. So fresh. The lobster mafia and clam chowder was superb. And of course the fresh oysters was great. ( yes, this is two nights worth of dinners. )

The clam chowder was amazing. The views are lovely. On a busy Friday night, the staff managed to get us a seat quickly, as long as we were out before a reservation 80 minutes later. Service was great and quick and we were finished in plenty of time without ever feeling rushed. Fantastic meal and experience.

The food was good as well as the service but it was a bit too pricey for what it was with a $39 table for a good but normal piece of salmon with a few pieces of zucchini and red potatoes. So, good food, but be ready to pay and also, even pay for parking extra. Service was good. All in all pleasant afternoon, not sure I will return as supposed to go to other just as good and not so expensive restaurants.

Alberta tourist in Seattle! What a stellar experience! Decided to check this place out as I had a hankering for oysters and this place not only had great reviews but was located just down the street from my hotel! The staff were absolutely amazing. My oysters and salmon sliders were perfect and the sourdough bread was dangerously delicious. The cocktails were also on point. Would absolutely recommend!

Delicious food! The menu is a bit overwhelming but enjoyed the special oysters, a taste of the award winning clam chowder, the special scallops & ravioli dish and bourbon glazed salmon.
