Upon first glance the hotel looks fine, but as we got further in it became very far below the cleanliness level we all deserve. There was dried blood on the sheets(not stains but dried blood). The toilet was terrible and would rarely flush all the way. Crumbs everywhere on the sofa. The last straw was that my wife was getting bit by bugs and we ended up finding out that there were bed bugs (room A318). The hotel staff didn’t seem to have the same worry about it as us. They simply said sorry and then asked us if we wanted to check out. No compensation or anything. They didn’t seem to care about our health or safety. Bed bugs should be caught, that’s like top priority. I know that the hotel will do the same copy and paste response as always, but this is meant to be just a heads up for anyone wanting to stay here.

We just had our uhaul trailer stolen right off the back of our truck. Unfortunately, the other reports of windows broken etc at this location are accurate and there are not sufficient cameras and security to deter theft. The area is secluded and near a path so there seems to be a lot of opportunity for things like this. I highly recommend not going here with any kind of trailer and do not leave anything in your vehicle here. The staff were very helpful and kind and the room is great, but we lost everything we had just towed across the country for our move. The area seems very safe, so that's really not the issue. It's just obvious that the parking has become a target and there is no reason this won't keep happening.

I stayed here for a weekend with my two sons and this was my first time staying in a hotel in a while. The first thing I did was check the cleanliness of the room as I read on some of the reviews that there were bed bugs and the carpet was not vacuumed very well. I did not see bed bugs (thank God) and I was unsatisfied with my room due to the carpet not being clean. The room temperature was set at 72 degrees which was comfortable and the bathroom and sink areas were clean. The next day I went to the front desk and asked for housekeeping to vacuum my room while I was out. I got back in the afternoon and it had not been done yet. Thankfully, a housekeeper came by and I asked her to vacuum my room and she did just that, which I was satisfied with her detail of cleaning. The beds were somewhat comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was helpful to have and utilized it for my boys and I. It was easy to get to the hotel, but during an event it gets a lot of traffic at the light, so be prepared ahead of time to expect a wait. The parking circles around the buildings lettered by A, B, and C with three levels or depending on where you’re at. So be sure to know where you’re going and there needs to be more detailed numbers after you get out of the elevator. The complimentary breakfast was good and convenient. I give it 4 stars.

We stayed five nights while our house was being painted. It was mostly fine. The location is walkable to a couple parks, which my son enjoyed. Centrally located to shopping and restaurants. I love having a full sized fridge and a cooktop. The microwave was old and didn’t work great (3 minutes still didn’t melt the cheese). Dishwasher worked fine. Laundry on site was fast and cheap. Breakfast was different-ish every morning which I appreciated. Oatmeal, grits and potatoes were constant with the eggs/omelettes and proteins varied. Coffee at the front was better than many hotels. The bed was a spring mattress, not comfortable. We used our own pillows. The rooms were spacious. My biggest complaint is the noise!!! I swear I could hear my neighbors breathing! The walls were so thin. Our 20mo son was woken up all but one morning due to people just walking around and doing normal things. The pool is open until 10pm which can be a bonus for folks looking for a late night dip but we literally listened to multiple conversations of folks there because there was no sound blocking at all. At all. So, since we were looking for a home away from but nearby home, we did not really get what we wanted. But it’s fine if you aren’t a light sleeper or if you don’t have a baby, I guess.

Excellent place to stay. Room was extremely clean, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! Every day was something different, made fresh and so full of flavor. Almost as if eating breakfast at home. The staff was very nice and friendly. Highly recommend to stay here. Very nice and quiet as well.

We booked this hotel because it's pet friendly with decent price compare with other pet friendly hotels in downtown Seattle. Our room is spacious with living room, kitchen and dinning table and two televisions. Hotel is in Tukwila / Renton area, about half an hour driving from downtown Seattle (depend on when and how you commute). Parking is free, outdoor swimming pool and small basketball court. Complimentary breakfast is ok. One thing you should consider, hotel is located near by the railway. Train is passing by once in while even in the late evening. Overall, we are satisfied with the hotel.

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay! I'd say it's the nicest hotel near the airport by far! And the staff were so helpful. The front desk agent, Noah, I believe his name was and his assistant Jack? Both were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

The hotel is only this busy due to its convenient location to starfire. The pool was so dirty it has living water bugs, there was hair in the shower, vomit on the toilet, paint chips and mold on the hall walls, springs coming through the pull out couch, and huge parties in the center of all the rooms until after 10pm. I felt like I was back in college in a fraternity for the weekend, it was really gross!

Hotel was well maintained and staff very helpful. Great location with freeway nearby but no freeway noise, and lots of restaurants near by. Some breakfast items were usually setout earlier than 6am for those who leave earlier. Hotel name uses "Seattle-Tacoma Airport" which is a bit misleading. Even though distance is only 12-15 minutes from airport, the hotel does not offer airport shuttle. T

Nice place for our soccer team to stay during the tournament. Very expensive though. But everywhere was that weekend with so many events happening. Good value for the money. Pool and breakfast. BBQ area was perfect for a team BBQ and place to hang out.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the airport, but surprisingly quiet. There is a half mile trial that runs directly around the popery where you can safely walk alone. The fitness center has enough equipment, you can get a decent workout done. The staff was super friendly. And, yes the shower was the best shower in my 25 years of travel. I have long think hair and that water pressure was the bomb!

Homewood Suites is my favorite chain of hotel. The staff at this particular location make it a great place to stay. The complimentary breakfast is amazing with something hot, fresh, and different served every day. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed away from home. I also appreciated that the water in the shower is nice and hot enough. It is a little far to get food if you are on foot, so I gave it a 4/5 for location. I would definitely stay here again!

I hate to give 2 star reviews, but sometimes they’re necessary. We booked a one-night stay via AAA, requesting a pet-friendly room. We’ve stayed many places with our small well-behaved dog and are prepared to pay a pet fee. When we arrived at the hotel, we were shocked to find out that the pet fee is $75! Since the room was prepaid we were stuck paying the pet fee. Shame on me for not researching the pet fee on the hotel website. Warning to pet owners - don’t end up like us paying a $75 pet fee for a one night stay. When we asked if there was any wiggle room on the pet fee, we were told no. Next: the room The toilet didn’t flush. We found that the handle chain was detached, so fixed it. The only bowl in the cabinet had a large smear of dried food in it. The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Our dog found lots of food bits, chips, chocolates, even a rubber ball under an armchair. Maybe we should charge a $75 canine cleaning fee for our dog’s good work. 😉 Next: breakfast This was the highlight of our brief stay. There were potatoes, sliced kielbasa, and cheesy scrambled eggs that were all very good.

When we showed up Friday, we were really tired. They were able to get us an early check in which was huge since we had several suitcases. Breakfast was barely over and they made us some quick plates to eat. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great that's a big plus Overall, our experience here was great!. Staff was awesome as well, especially the ladies up front and the lady in the kitchen. Will definitely stay here again.

Not for business travel. Front desk is service is sub standard. The location is the only reason I stayed instead of changing hotels. I've added stars for the service because the person at the front desk on nights/early mornings is excellent.

As usual w/ Homewood Suites, a very large two-room suite, very clean, w/ a complete kitchen, incl. a full-sized fridge (w/ ice in the freezer!), microwave, dishwasher (!) & even a two-burner induction range! And full cooking implements, glasses, coffee cups, plates, nice silverware, etc., none of it paper or plastic. If we'd been staying there a few days, a trip to a local grocery store would mean we could save plenty of $ instead of eating out. Except that we'd prob. still have breakfast at the hotel - like every Hilton chain hotel we've stayed in, their free breakfast is a substantial improvement over what any other chain has (best egg casserole I've EVER had at a free hotel breakfast!). But a few negatives. These are all relections on the Homewood Suites chain, NOT on the staff at this ĺocation, who were very nice & helpful, & are dealing the best they can w/ what they've been given by Homewood Suites. + We wanted a 1st floor room, but they didn't have one for us, & because there was no elevator to our 2nd floor (outdoor, concrete stairs), they are not ADA-compliant. NOT helpful for us, w/ our disabilities. + The king bed was very comfortable, but as usual w/ a Homewood suites, the furniture was not comfortable to sit in. Why does Homewood Suites only have stiff, uncomfortable furniture, that either has fabric that feels like burlap, or is (worse) vinyl plastic? Makes having a big suite kinda pointless. + I know that many hotels are moving towards having food & drink available for purchase at the front desk that can be charged to your room, which is a lot better than unreliable vending machines. They had a frozen Healthy Choice Cafe Steamer that I was able to take to my room to microwave. But for $10?! That's more than double the price in any grocery store. + Would be nice to have a small bottle of dishwashing liquid in the kitchen, since I only used one glass & one fork. Not gonna run the dishwasher for that. + NO fan in the bathroom, which is an unfortunate trend these days in even nice hotels. + Hey, Homewood Suites - why are you making your front desk people handle so much paper (filling out purchases from the little front desk "store" by hand)? It's 2023, go digital!

This hotel has spacious suites and friendly staff. The reason for the low rating is the bed bug bites me and my family got from staying here. We got two suites and both had bed bugs. Also the breakfast was horrible as they kept serving old oatmeal from previous days. Overall if you don’t want to deal with bed bug bites. Do not stay here and hopefully the issue is fix. Also when I mentioned the bed bug problem to management they did nothing.

The room was fantastic, though the duvay cover was scratchy and uncomfortable. ****Take all your valuables into the room !!! Our car was broken into, they took everything not attached to the car ! When we went to report it to the front desk, we saw another car with a broken out side back window. Be safe !

We moved from FL to WA and spent 8 days here from 9/30-10/8 2023 while awaiting our moving truck's arrival. A cross-country move is a stressful, agonizing thing, and this hotel proved to be an oasis for us amid the uncertainty and chaos. We have travelled extensively and have stayed in our share of hotels--on up to luxury level--and can honestly say without a doubt this Homewood Suites has been one of our favorite experiences. When friends and family come to town, we'll definitely be recommending they stay here.

This was a GREAT hotel. Rooms were huge and clean. The whole hotel campus felt kind of resort like with the separate buildings. Staff was very friendly and even though we were just there for a day remembered us and things we were doing. We will definitely stay here next time we are in town

We reserved a 1 king/ 2 Queen suite. We were told due to a sprinkler issue we would be staying in 2 separate King suites with a pull out sofa bed across the hall from each other. The front desk told me one of the rooms would be complimentary. We were charged the price of the original room. It wasn't a big deal, but not what we were told. We came back a week later and got the 1 king/ 2 Queen suite and it was perfect. The breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly. Great location close to the airport and a lot of dining options.

EDIT: Have now stayed a second time and I think I understand the issue. My second room was pretty woeful. Terrible water pressure, a plug in the bath that wouldn't stay up, and yes, a strange smell in the room. This is really disappointing as I really wanted to like the place after my first stay! Seems like the rooms are just very inconsistent.

I reserved a wheelchair accessible room and the layout was excellent and easy for me to move around. The bathroom was very good for accessibility too. The bed was too soft and I was able to sleep very well.

Bit tired in the common areas, but they were working to spruce them up. Rooms and suite were in excellent condition. Well maintained. Very good location for basing travel to Seattle, Tacoma or other surrounding areas.

This place is terrible and not worth it. The front desk staff doesn't know what they're doing, had four phone conversations and after I left and drove off the property they had me come back because they couldn't look to see what room types were actually available after telling me conflicting things. The parking situation is messy. Trains go by what seems to be every 20/30 minutes, which of loud as hell and shakes the bed. Which is absurd if you're a light sleeper like me. No elevators and the outside is disgusting. Go stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, it's basically the same price and you won't get people blocking you in when they park in the fire lane because there isn't a place to park. Won't be back

Love the location for its proximity to SeaTac. Rooms were decent. Building is dated but adequate. Mike at the front counter was exceptional. They were running behind as far as having rooms ready for check in but Mike did a great job of explaining the situation and making us feel comfortable with the wait.

We stayed here for a week to attend theater and soccer camps in the Seattle-Tacoma area. The suite was large and the design was adequate as expected but there were many issues. Some of the doors were rotted a little. There were dead bugs in the light fixtures. The bathroom vent was very filthy; it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The white bathtub floor was brownish. The buffet breakfast had limited options. Some of the drinks did not taste as they should've. However, some of the food items (bagels, bacon and cinnamon rolls) were okay. The hotel apparently only clean suites once every five days. Although they offered replacement toiletries and towels in place of housekeeping, nothing was said about garbage pickup. Finally, the day before we checked out, an unleashed dog harassed and chased my little brother on the property.

Stayed here a week for a family vacation and it was a wonderful experience. Great location, close to the airport, highways and shopping centers. This made getting to Seattle downtown very easy. Also some nice walking trails and parks adjacent to the facility. My 10 year old loved the basketball court and pool area. The facility was clean and the free breakfast was very robust with a lot of variety, fresh fruit and juices. I especially enjoyed the coffee, which was available 24-7!!! The staff was attentive to our every need. The room was clean and comfortable. Will stay here again when we are back in the area!!!

We have stayed at this hotel several times for soccer tournaments. It's location allows for ease of access to Starfire. The hotel is dated. The pool has never been open. The service is lacking. Numerous car break ins each morning in the parking lot with little care from the hotel. We were scheduled to stay this weekend for another stay and play tournament. We can not make it to the tournament due to the weather and roads being closed. The last option was closed due to flooding by the state the day we were to check in. The hotels policy is cancelations need to be made 24 hours in advance or you get charged. Members of our team canceled through Hilton Customer Service and received full credit even though they were within the 24 hour window. We were not that lucky as we called the hotel directly. We called Hilton Customer Service to try to get assistance with the inconsistent policy implementation. Hilton Custom Service would not assist and referred us back to the hotel. Avoid this hotel. The convivence of the hotel for soccer at Starfire isn't worth the poor customer service, dated (dirty) rooms, and risk of your car being broken into.

Property was perfect for a family with teens! Lots of space! Continental breakfast was amazing! Different every day! Staff was helpful and kind. Highly recommend this property.

Room was extremely dated, not well cleaned. Mold on ceiling in bathroom and bedroom and living room, blood on our sheets, not able to connect to wifi at all. Basically everything offered amenities wise for the suite we got was a joke. We asked for late checkout and assumed we had it, till 10 am that day when they called and said nope sorry we didn't see that request and gave us an hour to get out of the hotel while we were at our daughter's state tournament game. We ended up having to book the hotel for a second night because our daughter had to rest and get dry before the next game that evening. They told us they couldn't do the late checkout because they had a busy day. But then I sat in the lobby waiting for my daughter's clothing to dry with another mom and we listened to the front desk agents talk about how they had a slow day and night ahead of them because they had very few check ins. I felt exploited in this because they knew why we were here and that we would be possibly staying for the evening finals game. Instead of giving us the late check out, we got stuck paying for another room that we didn't need but for a few hours. We will not be coming back here. Steer clear, the Holiday in Express down the road has cleaner rooms and cheaper rates. We had friends staying there during our fiasco.

  • 3/5 Melissa O. 2 years ago on Google
The size of the room is fantastic! However, the couch beds are not comfortable and the finishing details need updating (toilet wobbled because of cracked caulking at base). Cleanliness was okay however we had a roll of paper towels will something red that had dripped on it, looked like blood which is not appealing to find in a hotel room. Our tv didn't work in the living room because of a stripped out cable, we reported it and had maintenance look at it, they said they would be back and they never returned in the 3 days we stayed there. Would I stay here again, sure, but only if the price right.

Clean and attractive property. Suite was roomy. Bathroom and kitchen both fully stocked. Staff very friendly. The only downside is the property is a little awkward to find since it is within a business park. I know how to get there now, so I would definitely consider staying there again.
