1st time here, but I think I found my new favorite Chinese food/ sushi place. I love that I can get regular Chinese food, fresh sushi, or Hibachi! We ordered off the lunch sushi menu 3 special rolls for $36 and 3 regular rolls for $18. I felt like that was a great deal. Even the salad dressing was a perfect flavor starter. We also ordered Sesame chicken w/ fried rice and it didn't disappoint. I cannot wait to come back.

The atmosphere is amazing, and the food was phenomenal as well as the presentation. I only tried some sushi, as well as sashimi and it was all amazing. The sashimi I had was chefs choice and each piece melted in my mouth, and were surprisingly big cuts. The California roll may have been the best I’ve had, with warm rice and an abundance of crab. I also went for my birthday because they have a special list of free items for birthdays! It included a huge free mixed drink, an ice cream, a hat, candle, drum song and $10 gift certificate! Amazing place and can’t wait to go again!

Wow - were we pleasantly surprised! Sapporo has been in our neighborhood for four years and this was our first time in. We were looking for a happy hour on a Sunday and they've got Sunday happy hour ALL DAY. So the grandmas (who love happy hour) got margaritas and I had some sake. That margaritas alone would have gotten this place a thumbs up... and that's even before we had the sushi. I had NO idea all this time I could have basically taken a walk out my front door and found such fantastic sushi. The rainbow roll was incredible -- so so fresh -- and the Mongolian chicken was also delicious. The only downside of the whole experience was that it was noisy -- but if you're in a festive mood, it's not a problem..we will definitely go back.

the sushi at sapporo is so yummy and fresh! it is some of the very best i've had in the area. my boyfriend loved his unagi donburi. sitting in the bar area is always a great experience. there's a male server here with shoulder-length hair, and he is really nice and efficient. the menu is also reasonably priced, and they have great happy hour deals! however, i'm not a fan of the hibachi. at $60/person, it was overpriced and underwhelming. the lobster was so drowned in sauce that i couldn't taste anything but salt. the fried rice was hard. the vegetables were underseasoned. the chocolate cake seemed like it was microwaved. though, i will say that the filet mignon was delicious, tender, and cooked perfectly. overall, i'm rating sapporo well because the bar and sushi experience is absolutely top-notch. i'll keep visiting. i just won't ever do the hibachi again!

Fantastic experience here! I had the chicken and fried rice combo on the hibachi grill, chicken was dry (only bc they used breast) but the seasoning was great! My partner had the scallops and NY strip steak, it was absolutely cooked to perfection. We had the Trump roll as well (such a silly name 😳) and it was great! Very fresh. Our chef was amazing and out waitress was just as skilled. We are planning out next trip here already!

Went on a double date here with our friends, made a reservation and was seated in no time. The experience was fun, took a minute for the “show” to begin, but nevertheless it was good. No complaints really, just wished the vegetables were cooked more at the Hibachi grill. Would definitely come back again and try something different, you get plenty of food!

Sushi is very tasty and the drink menu is extensive. The tepan grill is fun too. I recommend the vegetable tempura as an appetizer. The “Go Seahawks” and the “Cherry Blossom” rolls are the bomb!! We had fun on Halloween and came in second for the costumer contest.

If you're looking for fresh sashimi, I highly discourage you from coming here. Today, I spent $75 on sashimi Deluxe and the fish slices were rather dry, especially the Toro , which should have melted in the mouth in theory. However, this wasn't the case. Firstly, the fish had a lot of sinew, making it hard to chew. It's hard to imagine that the Toro, costing $15 for two slices, had such a texture!

Happy that you were open on Christmas Day! Had a memorable time with my family. Our Chef was a blast! Although he missed my mouth with the broccoli. I'll have to come back and give him another chance!

Worst Hibachi experience ever... Took 30+ min to get food. The performance was terrible. We only got a fire show, nothing else. The fried rice was too salty. It just tasted like soy sauce and was burnt. Nigiri was okay. Too many sesame seeds on the rolls. Rice was dry...

The food was great. The customer service was horrible. What did it was the waitress coming back to the table saying “your gratuity is in the bill”. Mind you this woman never came to check on us before the chef came. We spent an hour and 8 minutes before my friend went and asked what the wait was for. If the waitress just one or two times would have came to check on our drinks or even apologize for the wait and make sure we were good, MAYBE it could have been a better experience. Again, the chef was great as well as the manger. She was very friendly as well.

Went to Tepanaki for an aunts birthday and it was a fun experience with tasty food. The show was great and they gave my aunt a huge free drink , a lotus opening singing candle, dessert and a little birthday hat. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They cooked the meal without any seafood and served that first and then cooked the seafood because someone was allergic to seafood. That person said that she was impressed because all of the other places she had been to like this would just bring her plate from the kitchen.

What a delightful way to spend lunch with a friend. The food was marvelous, the steak tender and cooked just right. Our hibachi chef was funny and skilled at his art with preparing our food and interacting with his guests.

Amazing experience with the Hibachi. Food was amazing! Best food I think I’ve ever had. I ordered the steak, noodles, and rice and had lots of leftovers. The chef was hilarious. Great experience! Can’t wait to come back. Military Discount offered too!

This place was very good and comparable to Trapper's Sushi prices. (When Trapper's isn't having happy hour) The miso soup was delicious as were the drinks and sushi rolls. I'll definitely make another trip here but to try their Teppanyaki. Service was friendly and food came out pretty quickly.

The food tastes excellent and the restaurant is clean. All of the staff is very friendly and attentive. It's always fun to go to a hibachi grill and watch as they cook in front of you! What I would like to see different is some new tricks or jokes being said during the cooking show! Every hibachi grill that I've been to (and it's been several across the country) does the same little bits. The egg throw into the hat, the "butterfly," the onion volcano or train, throwing food into the customers mouths, etc. Of course those are all fun but I'd love to see something original.
