Super friendly staff, very accommodating. Somewhat crowded store but really pleasant experience. Will be using their services.

I went here to get fishes for my daughters fish tank for her birthday and let me tell you the fishes are beautiful! My daughter loved them. Defiantly recommend anyone who’s into fish or likes fish going here they have the nicest fish

Good afternoon Petco Corporate, and thank you for the opportunity to give Kudos to Sa at your 1530 Black Lake Blvd. Ste D Olympia, WA 98502 store. Sa, in you Fish department Olympia Washington is a dream. He is professional, kind, compassionate, and clearly educated on a multitude of pets, and animals but his knowledge of proper care of our beloved pet fish is beyond what I could have dreamed from Petco. Sa has helped me nurse two sick fish which inevitably passed, and with such compassion for my pain of losing them. Sa allowed me to break down crying in the store as I told him that Madison had passed, and then he helped me name my new Fancy goldfish "Buffy". Brooklyn recently became sick with a fungus, and after 4 days in a hospital tank passed two days ago. Yesterday, it was Sa who again comforted me, and gave me wonderful advice of how to care for Buffy now that she is alone. Sa has sold me the medications needed for my hospital tank, he has sold me proper fish food for proper fish health. He has sold me a new tank with the proper supplies, and yesterday we picked out a new aquarium toy cave for Buffy to hopefully keep her happy now that she is alone, and may stay that way! Each time I am blessed, and Sa is working when I visit my local Petco, I do tend to give an associate compliment of Sa when I am at the checkout counter, and each time, without failure, your associates always agrees and then mentions with a loving smile, "Oh yeah! Everyone Loves Sa! And he really knows his stuff!". And ya know what.... It's true : ') Thank you, Petco. As you know, a customer will drive a long distance to visit a chain store with an associate that customer adores, even when they have a franchise within a few miles of our own homes. Well, Sa would be that associate at Petco who is currently within a few miles of my home, but if I were to move away from West Olympia, I would happily make the drive back to your 1530 Black Lake Blvd. Ste D Olympia, WA 98502 store for Sa. This was my girls first trip to Petco & my first time at this Olympia location. We all had a great time. Everyone was so helpful & friendly. The girls loved all the attention. I was looking for slow feeder bowls & found a really great one. We also needed pee pads, found a really great selection. Got pretty name tags & of course you can't go to the store & not take home a new toy for each one. They had such a fun time they slept all the way home.

The store is amazing, but specifically I want to shout out to Dani in the grooming center is AMAZING with my anxious dog. We rescued him he is scared of everyone. We had to reschedule due to my school schedule change and Dani rearranged her time to see him anyway since my dog wouldn't let anyone but her touch him!! Marley and I love you Dani!! ❤

We have been coming to Petco for about a year now for our grooming needs for our Australian cattle dog. He loves it and they do a wonderful job.

This is by far the best Petco I’ve experienced. The store is clean, well stocked and employees are always friendly and helpful. The groomers are caring, proficient and talented. The dog trainer, Jeremy, is absolutely amazing. Soft spoken and kind with my dog with unbelievable results.

Great options for healthy pet foods. Variety in dog treats. And right now great costumes!

I only shop here for fish supplies (I shop local for all my other supplies.) Their fish dept staff is great, specially a gentleman named Sa. He helped me determine which fish would be compatible with my fish at home and helped me select fish for a new aquarium. He was very knowledgeable and funny, despite it being a delivery day and him having a lot to do. If you need fish or aquarium suppliers then he is the guy you should talk to!

Always have a great experience at this location. The staff is very helpful. The curbside pickup is sooooo nice after a long day with grumpy kiddos. Nice not to have to lug a huge bag of dog food while trying to keep up with my little ones.

Great selection of fish and pet supplies. I stopped by to see what their selection of fish was compared to Pet's Mart, have to say much better right down to the plants as well. I also get my dog treats here when I'm not going to the farmers market. Best selection for fish and plants over Pet's Mart

Every time I go to this location the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I never have any problem finding what I need and usually more! Great place for my fur babies!

The facility is clean and well maintained. During our time at the Petco we noticed they had a lot of products such as food, leashes, medicines, toys, beds, bath room supplies, and so forth. In the center of the store they have a "Dog Training Park" and on the sides they divided the store into sections such as the Adoption Center, Aquatics, Petco Zoo (Bunnies, Hamsters, Birds), Home Furnishings, Cat Market, JustFoodForDogs, and Grooming/Vet Clinic. They do have restrooms and they are private/individual rooms. You are also allowed to bring your pets into the store. Overall, I give the store 5 out of 5 stars.

Spacious location but back behind other buildings so you have to look. Otherwise, it is great! Staff was helpful. Store was well laid out and clean. Very good product selection for all animals from reptiles, rodents and fish to canine and feline. Bonus, they actually have kibble on the shelves!

This was a great experience for us and our dog. He was groomed very nice and seemed very calm about it and it was his first time. We were treated very nice and helped with some issues with our dog. We are taking the training classes.

This is NOT OK 🥺🥺 his temps are all wrong, he’s weak, I’m afraid that the crickets left in his enclosure are going to make a meal out of him…. This isn’t the first time I’ve found these poor babies in this condition here. Do better

Leann has been an incredible person to trust with our dog’s grooming needs. She is gentle and communicative. I know our dogs are in good hands when they are with her!

It was simply a visit to pick up a dog bed and toy. An associate was immediately available to direct me to where the products were. Checkout was quick, and the sales clerk was very friendly. Exactly what I want from a retail store.

Even though this is part of a big box Enterprise The grooming salon always seems personal and they remember my dog and remember how to groom her. They usually do something special like a ribbon or a bow. They accommodate leaving her doggie gear there while they are grooming instead of making me take it with me. Definitely would recommend Matthew.

We went to Petco after having a lousy experience at Petsmart. They clipped my dogs nails and cleaned her up a bit. The price was right. I was able to check in early and my dog was brought in right on time.

We've been bringing our pup here since 2019. The first time was to get his immunizations up to date with the little clinic, and about every 3 weeks for grooming. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I really wish I could leave this place less than 1 star! DO BETTER WITH YOUR FISH! Because of you guys my 100.00 king beta is dead and MY CYCLED 60 gallon breeder tank is now crashed!!!! I HATE YOU PETCO. The beta you tried to replace (which was only a 15.00 beta) is now dying as well and I’ve only had him 1 day!!!!!!! Stop hiring people who are too lazy to properly care for aquatic life! I can only imagine how awful the care of the rest of the animals are.. SHAME ON YOU!!!!! I want my freaking money back for my king beta! I had him for over a year! Because of you guys my daughter is distraught! I am too! DO BETTER!

The staff are extremely friendly, which makes shopping there a very pleasant experience. I've always managed to find what I need in the store and have not encountered any issues with having items price matched to the Petco website. I highly recommend checking prices there since the in-store prices tend to be higher.

LeAnn is the BEST groomer! She absolutely loves on every dog, and she took such good care of our fur baby. I brought my dog in about 5 times before we moved and requested her each time! She is very knowledgeable and has the biggest heart.

The fish tanks are filled with dead fish and gross as tuff growing on them. Nothing seems to be where is should. I can't find anything the workers don't seem to be much help either. I used to go for my pet supply but will be finding a new clean place for my pets

I got my dog special food ...My Lulu is get it older she always like this food...and is good for her stomac
