Perfect location, looking right at Haystack rock. The town is cute, Pelican Brewing at the base of the hill the hotel is set on. Spa is nice also, we just used the hot tub in the complex. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again! Firewood bundle is $8 each and comes with a starter kit and absolutely worth it for the experience. There are tide pools and basalt rocks visible at low tide, you're allowed to walk up to them but please avoid walking on them to preserve the wildlife and ecosystems living in/on them 🙃

We enjoyed our night at the Hallmark. Check in was flawless. I had booked a sea side room months ago and was not disappointed. Haystack Rock was right outside my deck. Here’s a special note: There is no Air Conditioning in the rooms. You should be fine with the sliding door and window open. They have a ceiling fan and a box fan in the closet if you need air flow. We had a family of Elk come through at sunset which was something very surreal. The locals say it’s common. The patios are open meaning there is no divider between the rooms. We had a group of teenagers next to us, they were sometimes noisy, but not enough to complain. Get what you need in Canon Beach because most places close by 7. Hallmark is a great property.

Beautiful newly renovated rooms. We had the oceanfront king spa room with fireplace and it had LOTS of space. The bathroom was huge with two sinks and lots of counter space. Shower was big enough for two with two shower heads. Tile and flooring was very nice. So many thoughtful things in the room-extra towels, real glass wine glasses and drinking glasses, jacuzzi tub for two with bath salts and more towels, seating area inside and large balcony, kitchen area with lots of space and storage. Bed was very nice and the view was worth the price! Nice indoor heated pool and hot tubs/sauna. Hotel was quiet and the staff was very nice. Highly recommend!!

Just got back from a 3 night stay for our anniversary and we had an amazing time! The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautiful, the staff was so sweet and helpful and the views are spectacular! We loved having a fire on the beach at night (wood bundles are $8) and we appreciated the beach chairs you had available and the complimentary blankets. Also the free cookies in the lobby every day! Lots of cute shops and restaurants in walking distance. Our favorite spot for a bite and a cocktail was MacGregors. Thank you Hallmark for the hospitality, we will definitely be back!

We were so happy to find a dog friendly hotel on the beach. We received a dog Goody bag at check in. They provide chairs and blankets for the beach. We got some wood and they had free fire starting kits to take for fire on the beach at night. It has dining close and the highway is easy to get to. We loved our stay at Hallmark and plan to go back again next year.

This property has the most direct view of the Haystack Rock and the two Needles. Perched on the cliff intuitively understands all the needs of guests. From the very comfortable chairs that are waiting for you at the bottom of the steps to the shower that allows you to rinse off sand from your feet, to the cords of wood that are stacked and available for purchase, should you want to start your own beach fire. Very pet friendly they have a blackboard with the names of pets that are with their humans as well as full of treats upon arrival. Check in as always incredibly pleasant. In particular specialist Genelle is as wonderful and welcoming in person as she is when you’re making the reservation on the phone. If you’re lucky you get there close to 4 o’clock when they have fresh baked cookies. There are two hot tubs next to the pool and a sauna for when you are done being outside in the elements. The rooms have incredibly comfortable beds and thankfully they are well-stocked with Kerug-friendly Sleepy Monk coffee for convenience, and packets of salt water taffy as treats. My room had a king size bed with a fireplace and a window to the ocean so I could see at quick glance what the weather was like, when the sun was rising, and how high are the waves were… to know what kind of a attire I would need going out. You’re only two minutes and a flight of stairs from Sleepy Monk coffee and their fresh baked pastries as well as the hardware/restaurant Screw n Brew that has amazing oyster shooters.

I can't say enough good things about this resort! I came for 2 nights to celebrate my friend's birthday and recent masters graduation. Upon arrival we discovered we had been given a complimentary upgrade to an oceanfront balcony room! This was such an amazing surprise and it made our whole weekend. In addition, the staff provided us with a bottle of champagne and some sweet souvenir gifts. The location is PERFECT - amazing views of Haystack Rock and walking distance to lots of restaurants. My friend got a deep tissue massage from the on-site spa that she loved. Every staff member we met was wonderful. We can't wait to come back & bring her dog next time (we loved seeing dogs around the resort and running on the beach). We will most definitely be repeat guests!!!

My husband & I had the best experience at the Hallmark Resort. The view from our room was breathtaking and the staff is extremely friendly. We want to give a big thank you to Bennett for really going beyond for us.Thank you for making our wedding anniversary so special. Everyone was super nice and we will definitely be back!

We stayed at the oceanfront room. Pro: The view is beautifully worthy. Easily walking out to the beach. The resort has a swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub. Free cookies dairy at the front desk. Bonfire at the beach is so much fun. Con: Hallways to rooms are too narrow. There is no privacy between balcony areas. The resort should have a family with kids' time and adults only time at the pool areas. For a couple who want to use the pool area, recommend either going supper early or super late to have some quiet time at the hot tub or sauna. Wish there are free breakfasts available at this resort.

My husband and I just got back from this FABULOUS place. The staff were all so wonderful and the room amazing! We stayed in an oceanfront room and WOW the views were stunning. The tub for two was so relaxing and the fireplace warmed the room. We loved that they provided a kurig because I brought my favorite coffee from home to enjoy each morning. We had a pizza delivered the first night and sat on the balcony and enjoyed our dinner with a view. We were able to put our extra slices in the fridge and used the microwave to warm up and enjoy our leftovers the next afternoon. The shower was big and awesome and my husband and I even had our own separate sink spaces. We had a couples massage at the spa that was perfect. The daily warm chocolate chip cookies in the lobby are so yummy. The ONLY thing we could say is the couch in the room was a bit worn and needed to be cleaned but other than that our stay was outstanding! It was great to be able to use the washers and dryers and they even provided tide laundry detergent and dryer sheets at no cost! We are planning to go the the Newport location next. We HIGHLY recommend at stay at this resort! Thanks to a tik tok video I saw I discovered this fabulous place.

Stay Here! Review from a picky traveler! I had never been to Oregon let alone the coast and I was a little skeptical about staying here but this resort exceeded my expectations. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Everyone we encountered at the front desk was friendly informative and pleasant to talk to. They pay attention to detail and offer awesome amenities for a couple's getaway. Don't let the No AC scare you!

We had the most incredible stay at the Hallmark. We returned to Cannon Beach for the first time since our honeymoon in 2017 and are so delighted by the memories we have now created at the Hallmark! We stayed in an oceanfront king suite and it was worth every penny- The room was cozy, the views were incredible, and every member of the staff was very kind. The sound of the ocean and the warm fireplace was so relaxing and we spent so much time out on the balcony. The warm cookies each night, easy beach access, Sleepy Monk coffee in the rooms, various items for rent (beach blankets, bikes, chairs, DVDs, etc.) and the big bowl of taffy in the lobby are just some of the little touches that makes this place so special. We will definitely be back!

You can't beat the location, but boy-oh-boy was our room bad. There was a very bad smell (fish? feet? mold? We couldn't figure it out) and then there was sand in our bed. We enjoyed the day at the beach but the staircase to the beach is no joke! After the beach we spent the evening in the hot tub and pool, which were pretty great. But when we crawled into bed the sand was so itchy we had no sleep! One night in a tiny, smelly, and sandy room was $400!! In October nonetheless! We definitely will stay somewhere else next time. Such a bummer.

Can't say more about this hotel. Our favorite so far on our Oregon road trip. My husband can be picky and he loved it. The rooms were beautiful, the views were beautiful and the location was convenient for the fun town of Seaside.

The daily room service, to the location with beach front access. Would hands down recommend this hotel to anyone! The only thing for you to know, there is no morning breakfast. So would recommend to bring some food and store it in the fridge. This way you can save for the first meal and splurge on the dinners 😉

Perfect spot on the beach...but, there are stairs involved. It is located very near the small town of Cannon Beach. It was so relaxing...multi story complex with elevators available. There is a niche area that has souvenirs and free coffee, tea, hot chocolate available 24 hrs a day. It was an absolutely wonderful stay.

I absolutely loved it here. The location is perfect right across from Haystack Rock and steps to the beach. My room was super clean and comfortable, I slept so well with the gas fireplace and the window cracked just a bit so I could hear the roar of the ocean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and were accommodating when I asked to extend my stay by one more night. Wish I could have stayed longer and can't wait to come back.

Rooms are a bit run down, but can’t beat the location. Beds are a lot smaller than advertised. We got a room with one queen one twin, but it was really one twin one single bed. On the positive side, we got a non-view room but we are able to see the haystack rock from our room. Service is also amazing, staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Mona at the front desk who answered all my (endless) questions.

Beautiful location, our room had a spectacular view. We appreciated the warm and welcoming staff; thank you. And it was so peaceful to listen to the ocean at night.

This is a really great hotel with a really great view from our room. We loved the stairs straight down to the beach. We were even able to charge our electric car in there parking garage. The only thing that could make it better would be breakfast. Breakfast being included with hotels we stay at is pretty common and pretty much an expectation now. Over all this is a great place. Can't wait to come back.

This places poses as a resort and spas. It is really a 2 star hotel trying to disguise itself as much more. The only thing that makes it a 5 star is that it's on the beach and has a beautiful view other than that the rooms are shabby. Bed spread old and grungy. There is no air conditions and the heat comes from electric heat panels that are ugly and old. If you get two beds in your place like we did the second bed comes out from the wall so classy!! The bathroom is next to the main bedroom and stinks like chemicals and the bathtub is old and not worthy of five star look at all pics and you decide. Definitely not worth $500 a night plus fee they charge if anything you're paying for a Bed in an unclassy place. Also the pool and hot tub are nothing worth writing home about very ugly and lame.

Thank you Hallmark Resort Cannon Beach for making our 13th year Anniversary with our fur pups, Samson and Chloe so Special. The bottle of champagne and a message in the bottle when we arrived in our room was very sweet. Everything from the check in to the check out was great! Room was clean, great view, private beach with stairs and dog wash station! Free wash machines/soap to do your laundry was awesome. All the staff were exceptional, professional, super nice esp. Genelle, Nicole, Anna and Mona! At check in, they gave us a doggy bag with treats, frisbee, awesome dog water bottles with bowl attached that we could keep and a listing of all the pet friendly restaurants in the area. Also provided was dog towels and sheets that we turned in at check out. They had free coffee, tea etc... in the gift store and we loved the big bowl of salt water taffy in the reception area : ) Oh ya and can't forget the delicious warm chocolate cookies every night between 4-6pm! Parking was tight esp with a three quarter ton truck but we made due. We can't wait to stay with you guys again and make Hallmark resort our hub as we visit other places around cannon beach : ) Our 4 night stay was top notch!!!!!!!

This was our first time to the Oregon coast so while booking, I relied heavily on the internet. When I say, the reviews don’t do it justice, I mean, the reviews don’t do it justice! The Hallmark absolutely blew us away. From the small details to the big ones, everything about our experience was absolutely perfect and just what we needed to recharge. The staff was so kind and provided us with information and whatever else we needed. The rooms were perfect. We stayed in an Oceanfront queen and had an incredible view of the beach and Haystack Rock. The fireplace in the room is a cozy and nice touch. Water bottles are complementary!! This is a small but HUGE touch. They have a giant bowl of salt water taffy in their lobby that was so fun to swing by and try the different flavors. During the summer months they have complementary wood bundles to have a beach fire! For around $20 you can also buy a s’mores kit! Totally worth it. The landscaping is gorgeous and the beach location and proximity to Haystack Rock is unmatched. They also have free warm cookies every day from 4-6! We also shared that we were celebrating our anniversary and there was a surprise bottle of champagne in the fridge! So thoughtful! It’s like we were in a dream! I hope we have the opportunity to stay at Hallmark again. Also the proximity to town is perfect! We walked everyday to shop and eat! One heads up. There are a LOT of stairs. Not a fault of the hotel, just the landscape.

Amazing place! My dog and I stayed for 5 nights and wish it could have been longer! The room was comfortable and clean - Daily service to make the bed and refresh towels was a nice bonus. Our patio had an amazing view of haystack rock - Patios are connected so my only suggestion is maybe a plexiglass divider to give some privacy, but it wasn't a huge deal. They are also super dog friendly - My pup got a welcome gift bag that included a sheet so she could lay on the bed with me. The dog treats (and warm human cookies) in the lobby were a great bonus! They even have free laundry and provide the soap - I so appreciated not having to drive my dirty laundry back across the country with us. Would stay here again any time! We had an amazing time and were so impressed!
