😠 I was in Greater Lakes for three years since I was thirteen, and I switched counselors three times. When I was first in Greater Lakes, they diagnosed me as having anxiety. You may think "well, great! They figured out the problem!" But that was not the case. Not at all. I had attempted to cut myself... I was in Greater Lakes for three years since I was thirteen, and I switched counselors three times. When I was first in Greater Lakes, they diagnosed me as having anxiety. You may think "well, great! They figured out the problem!" But that was not the case. Not at all. I had attempted to cut myself about a week either before or after I started therapy, I can't exactly remember. It was four years ago. For three years they failed to diagnose me properly. Turns out, I had anxiety and depression, which I was clearly showing signs of. But as a extrovert with anxiety and depression, they couldn't see what was going on with me, since I'm always "excited about pretty much everything". I wasn't. I cannot believe that they couldn't do their jobs properly, and about a little over a year ago, they let me go on the account of "I didn't have the will to change". I was like "What!?". I left and I'm never going back. Update: I found out through my current psychologist that I have ADHD. So that's another thing that I didn't know about until less than a year ago.

This place is an absolute joke. The providers and therapists have been great, but the management, policy and front desk staff make working with this place nearly impossible. When you try to make an appointment, they never answer the phone or return messages. The front desk staff are the first people you talk to in crisis and they seem so unconcerned. They asked if I'd be willing to wait 45 minutes to talk to someone. I said no, I'm in crisis! Because of their inability to return calls or make appointments, I was dropped from their med services without notice. No letter, no phone call. I had to go to the ER to bridge my meds until my intake appointment process I had to go though again because there was nothing they could do they said. They assigned me to someone who was leaving. So now I'm stuck again, no one is answering messages, or even responding to hospital social workers. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for someone in mental health crisis.

I'll give this place 2 stars because it's very nice having someone to talk at for an hour every week... But my fiance and I started couples therapy someplace else while I was continuing my services here and WOW, completely different experience, very positive and informative. If you want someone to sit there, listening and nodding the entire time... this place is for you. But if you want to actually make some real progress, go someplace else.

I try not to post publicly these days but a warning feels warranted if it saves even one person from exploitation. This place is bad. Seriously, taking-advantage-of-people-at-their-most-vulnerable bad. Dangerously bad. If you have any possible other option, take it. If you don't, consider jail time.

Hope this is the Location Crystal works for. She has changed my life, in just a short few months. She has (in addition) to prescribed medication from a different hospital, has lessened my tension, depression, and aggression ten fold. I can be open and free with her about anything in my life, and not be worried that she will judge me in a harsh manner. She is calm, understanding,, and considerate of feelings and emotions that I have (and assuming her other clients have) I have found a small amount of zin already with her. I was sent to this location before, and immediately left, due to that particular counselor just stepping all over my toes. Just wasn't a good fit. I came back, because I still could not look life in the face, without shame, and embarrassment. It took me nearly 15 years of people telling me I need help, to finally get some. Thank You Crystal. - Frank

“Looking for services please leave a voicemail” They NEVER call you back, have left several voicemails and no walk-ins. Don’t waste your time.

Horrible communication between staffing, call and call and call for an appointment they will never get back to you!! I do not suggest this place, 6/10 of the therapist are decent. If you can find better, I would

Some of the nurse practitioners and therapists are awful here. I can only speak from my experience. The NP that was doing my meds would never approve refills on time so I would go days to weeks with no meds. My insurance ran out and she wouldn't give me any refills to make it until my 90 days at my new job. Now I have to go to the ER to get my medications or go without. My experience was horrible and I don't recommend this place.

This is the absolute worst therapy I've received. The nurses were obviously inexperienced and they were very rude. They have made my PTSD symptoms worse by harassing me. Yes, they harassed me. They even scared my parents. Greater Lakes Pact Team is total BS. I didn't get one thing out of my experience with them except the opposite of what they should have been doing for me. Just ridiculous and wrong...UPDATE. I have more I would like to say. I won't go on and on. When I think back on when I was receiving their services I literally cannot think of one good thing they did only bad things they have done I didn't benefit in the slightest from these nurses. I never felt more compiled to write a review and let people know my awful experience that haunts me to this day with these ladies. They overstepped their position.

The person I'm writing about is Crystal Tronsett, a wonderful person who listens and totally helps me with whatever I'm dealing with at the time . I've been coming here for a few years and really didn't know how much I was actually dealing with. The truth of the matter is I'm doing so much better now because of her willingness to understand me and help me . There is always a big thank you in my heart to her because of this . I was really in a bad place but thank GOD I'm better now . I know I might be among a lot of people who can appreciate her but I will still give to the respect I feel she deserves . Thank GOD for you and thank you for being such a great person who clearly is a hidden gem . Thanks a lot for everything .

Was referred to them by Tricare. I called yesterday to make an appointment and had to leave a message on voicemail and they didn't call me back until the following day at around 8am. Before even making the first appointment, the person on the line was asking for all of my insurance information. At one point I had to find my insurance card online because Tricare doesn't generally use insurance cards and I asked him what information he needed. While I was searching for the card he asked if I had written down what information that he needed and that he couldn't stay on the phone to wait for me to find it and I would have to call him back. Was overall rude, and for someone seeking mental health care, it felt like I wasn't worth their attention. I will be calling my PCM to get a different referral.

My son goes here. I’ve had to call to change his appointments to phone and I get a voicemail everytime. Doesn’t matter what prompt you push. I always say “I need it to be a phone or virtual I don’t have child care for these days” and he is always scheduled for in person. Can never get a hold of any one not impressed what so ever.

Greater Lakes would be greater if they utilized the empty shelf space with basic resources clients need like anything is better than nothing at all, especially for how much they charge indigent insurance companies. Pathetic!

Had one person say they couldn't help me. The second counselor was late to every single appointment, not just one or two minutes, but 10-15 and up to a half hour. I tried a third who seemed okay, but the actual doctors refused to see me so I couldn't get on any medication. Maybe this place is good for some people, but it left me in a worse place than I started.

Brandon really ruined therapy for me. I hope he isn't still employed as a therapist. People are not always what they seem to be, be careful.

Getting therapy here completely changed my life in a positive way. My counselor Alex Stoker was so amazing, he went on to be the manager of all the other counselors at this establishment. It takes time to find the right counselor so if you don’t click with your first one, ask for someone else. It’s worth it to invest in your mental well being. Give this place a try, it may just change your life too!

The staff working with me are some of best people for the job. I am happy to find therapists like Ryan in the crp outreach team and nurses like Taylor in the med room working with the medication providers. A handy pharmaceutical team that all ways makes me smile. Greater lakes is the best!

They will randomly cancel your medication on you with zero warning. If you can go somewhere else, please do.

My trust is gone for Greater Lakes. You can't treat everyone like a mentally ill patient. If it was not for God's warnings. And if I would have ignored his warnings. I would have fell into my previous councelor Julie's Dura trap & others who are involved. She helped caused me to loose everything I owned back in 2015. She ignored my warnings & concerns. That feared for my life and safety. But instead she was ready to put me in a mentally ill paranoided category. The system of slavery is real! But now I'm wiser, stronger and smarter. And God is on my side at all times. The Bible says to pray & forgive your enemies. And hand your enemies and cares over to God. And allow him to fight your battles. For they not know what they do! Julie Dura may have gotten paid for one day for my counseling appointment. And which was not helpful at all to me or my situation. But she will never have another chance to set me up again. Money can be a root of all evil. If you allow it too! I forgive my enemies for the wrong they've done me. But I will never forget! May no weaponed formed against me, my health, life or family shall prosper. I bind & rebule every evil plot that's meant to destroy my life, relationships, health wil be cast back into the lake of fire. In the mighty name of Jesus Amen Amen.🙏🏽🙏🏽

front desk needs more training and rude. Overall go somewhere else if you can prob get better help. Lol with the lack of compassion. Seen someone get denied meds while waiting at the lobby.

Been going here for 6 months now. This place is terrible. They do not have any experience what’s so ever and diagnose me with something different every couple months. They switch your medicine provider every couple months. This last medication provider I had switched my medication and never reached out to do a check up so now I’m just trying to figure it out on my own. Definitely go somewhere else if you want help cause this place is a joke.
