If I could leave a zero star review I would. The coffee is fine, but there are plenty of other places to go on the same street. The service however was disgusting. The two girls that were working this morning were rude and unwelcoming and confrontational- when they made my drink wrong and I asked about it their attitude was appalling. I also ordered and paid for the large size and got given a regular. Would only recommend this place if you’re looking for abysmal service, bad attitudes, and weird drink size power plays from two very immature baristas.

I am so disappointed to walk in this great coffee shop and find out they do not take cash payments. This sets such a dangerous precedent on our lives, it is not worth the 'convenience'. Convenience does not justify this at all. I had to voice out how wrong I think this is for the community. I really hope the owners come to their senses and accept the only true currency.

I have been here a few times and had no issues, the last time I visited in June 2022 the two girls that were working were rude and unwelcoming and made me feel uncomfortable. I don’t know if they were having a bad day but regardless I won’t be back. I also ordered and paid for the regular size and got given smalls. I was made to feel like such a burden to these girls that I didn’t bother saying anything.

Super friendly staff.. and great coffee. It’s such a pleasure to walk down to Sparrow each morning and see the community hanging out and about getting coffee. ❤️

Beautiful service and beautiful chai latte. Right next to awesome shops so you can shop while waiting for your coffee. Very popular but we still got sweet and fast service. The chai latte was nice and smooth. Can't wait to come back for some coffee.

Staff are friendly, they love making great coffee and even the t/a coffee - after a 5 minute walk to where it will be drunk - doesn't disapoint!

Nice staff and all set up to serve you your coffee from behind the counter. Use "Hey You" app and you can order ahead and minimise contact and enhance your social distancing. With other shops in town closing for the virus, you might need to stock up on croissants etc.

I’ve been a sparrow loyal customer since it opened many years ago and until the last few weeks it’s been awesome. But many times in the last few weeks my order has taken more than 20-25 mins to make and when queried why it had taken so long I received a rude and abrupt response and they proceeded to make others in front of mine to prove a point - seemed it was on the same days each week that this was happening with particular staff but unfortunately I’ll be sharing this disappointment with others because no one deserves that kind of rudeness first thing in the morning. Gone are the days of “quality sparrow” that would brighten your morning and I’ve given too many chances now. I’m Out!

It's such a great little coffee shop the food is excellent and the staff are beautiful and friendly, I'll definitely be back again 👍👍😊
