This is the best Fracesinha and potato chips I have ever had. My Portuguese friend who has lived here in Porto for 20 years, said it is the best he has had too..:) and George!! The owner of the restaurant, he is the best. He will explain about the food and how it is made and very very friendly. Highly highly recommend this place to Anyone. Also the ambience is excellent. :)

Looking around for a place to have lunch we were very lucky to find this gem! The very friendly host was happy to explain us the menu and tell us the story behind the dishes, and the taste was beyond expectations. Everything tasted great, all ingredients were locally sourced and they were freshly prepared into the best francesinhas I have ever tasted. Even without prior notice there were excellent gluten-free foods and the company of the host made the meal an overall amazing experience!

If there was an option to give more stars for this place, I would. Jorge was an incredibly warm host, and left us with an experience I will remember for a long time. From the moment you step into the restaurant, his warm welcome gives you the perfect glimpse of the time you're about to have. He took the time and effort to explain every item on the menu, enquired about personal preferences and helped us make an informed decision. The portions come in varied sizes, so that's a plus. The fraceninhas have a rich and interesting flavour profile and the tap beer pairs perfectly with the food. Desserts and dessert wines are a must-try as well. Jorge's warmth and passion, combined with his effort to retain and promote local, traditional Portguese produce makes this place truly special. "Reis dos Molhos" sollten sie heißen!Samtige, tiefgründige und vor allem unglaublich leckere Saucen für Fleisch, Fisch und Vegetarisches werden hier in Kännchen separat zum Essen serviert, getestet werden darf vorher auch. Nicht nur Freunde der Francesinha, allgemein Liebhaber des guten Essens müssen hier gewesen sein: Sehr gute, authentische Küche, sehr fokussiert auf hochwertige, regionale Produkte, ein Chef der überall gleichzeitig zu sein scheint- ein wunderbares Erlebnis! Aus meiner Sicht ist es die hohe Kunst in der Küche, ohne viel Chichi großartige Ergebnisse zu erreichen - das gelingt dem Team hier absolut! Auf Wunsch gibt's zu allen Gerichten auch Empfehlungen zum Wein und andere Informationen. Fazit: Hingehen, genießen, wieder hingehen.... 5 Sterne+!!

Such a lovely restaurant and an amazing host, you feel very welcome and the food is amazing (I got a mushroom risotto). Definitely an experience in itself to visit this restaurant!

Good place to visit. It's family friendly. There are a lot of snacks to taste. Concerning the Francesinha it was good but the sauce was to liquid for me. I would have reduced it a little bit more before serving.

A different concept of Francesinha. Absolutely divinal !! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the homemade pates and butter for starters, then an incredible selection of plates poetical introduced by the owner, local wine and a quiet atmosphere. Surely I will come back to try other dishes! The Mushroom francesinha is brutal creation! 🤤

My meal was a really great experience. A warm knowledgeable and enthusiastic host who understands the origins of his food and wine made the evening. And of course, the meal itself was delicious.

I had lunch at Tudo pas Molhos, where I received a very warm welcome from the owner, who speaks perfect French, and sat with me to explain the background of the main dish served here, the Francesinha (no spoilers in this review). The meat Francesinha was absolutely glorious: the bread is fresh and homemade, the meats tasty and well cooked, and the sauce (an additional pitcher of which being served on the side) is luscious yet not too bold. Highly recommend this local gem to anyone passing by SJM, and I’ll visit again!

Incredible place. We stopped by to eat at this restaurant while we were doing Camino Portuguese Way. I must say that all of our expectations were blown away by the hospitality that we were received with. We did not have a slightest idea that the night could take such a turn for better. Food was spectacular, wine was even better and the service that we got was world-class. I can only advise that If you want to treat yourself with the best restaurant in this area, here is your obvious pick.

What an amazing restaurant. Dining here is a complete experience altogether. The host is extremely passionate and enthusiastic about his dishes and ideas. The food is amazing. Everything is home-made or locally made. Great vegetarian options. Great value. If I get the chance to eat here again I would immediately go for it.

Ive never left an comment about a restaurant, but this... i had to! This owner isn’t selling food, he is selling love true his food! What an amazing place, and what an elegant owner that makes you feel ‘at home’. I think everybody should go that a lesson from this man before it starts his own restaurant!

This is an amazing restaurant, the food is excellent and the service superb, a show of it’s own. Be prepared that the available menues (also vegetarian) are quite limited — this is not a big all-purposes kitchen, just as the name says. Nonetheless, I got my own dairy free version — delicious.
