Nice
hotel
in
an
impressive
building,
with
excellent
views,
and
plenty
of
space
and
beautiful
gardens.
Breakfast
is
plentiful,
and
dinner
was
tasty
(with
an
amazing
dessert
buffet).
However,
there
are
a
few
downsides,
which
have
led
to
rate
the
Pousada
with
four
stars:
(A)
electricity
in
the
room
is
switched
off
upon
leaving
the
room.
Really
difficult
to
charge
phones,
laptops,
etc
(at
checkout
I
was
informed
that
at
the
front
desk
they
could
disable
this…too
late
for
me!)
(B)
staff
at
the
front
desk
is
not
friendly.
When
I
would
say
“good
morning”,
there
was
just
silence
by
the
team
members
at
the
reception
(being
a
guest
you
would
expect
to
be
greeted
by
those
who
are
working
at
the
hotel).
I
really
did
not
feel
welcome
by
those
who
checked
us
in,
and
with
those
with
whom
we
interacted
at
the
reception
(C)
the
hotel
was
built
in
1985,
and
it
seems
that
not
much
has
been
done
since
then.
There
is
plenty
of
wear
and
tear,
and
a
refreshing
of
the
facilities
is
urgently
in
need
(D)
there
are
so
many
orange
trees
in
the
garden,
and
despite
this,
there
is
only
an
orange
fluid
available
at
breakfast
(which
can’t
be
called
“orange
juice”,
as
it
is
some
chemical
beverage).
Why
isn’t
natural
orange
juice
served
from
the
trees
that
grow
in
the
garden?
