This part of the Phoenix Ancient city bring you the memory of an ancient city that was built around 681AD. You can have two experiences while you are visiting there, Firstly: In the morning you can see an ancient city with traditional buildings standing in the river bank supporting by wood pillars. People sells the foods and souvenirs, some women wash the cloth on the riverside with traditional washing board. An old main sail the river with an old and traditional boat. Then your imagination leads you travel to many centuries ago and see how the real situation at that time. Secondly: At night you may not see the old and ancient world but this place turn to a beautiful and glamorous place with thousand of light are shining along the river. Tourist from many places come and move around in walk path on the riverside, many bright shops selling traditional food, Hunan specialty dry foods, souvenirs, music instruments, restaurant. Some Cafe and Bars play a house music loudly to invite people to come. Some other show the live music. The night is really alive and it feel so modern. At the side of the bridge some people put the candles light on and place them in the paper boat and let the candles sail to the end of the river with their own pray and wish.

Looks good in the photo but too touristy. 從張家界需要花費四小時左右到鳳凰城，但古城變得太旅遊景點了有點失望
