When we first arrived it was lively and well lit. Everyone was in a joyful mood as they were leaving out. We were able to book a spot at the last and closing time slot, and that time seem to fly by. We weren't able to sit down and have a meal, so this is review is only based off of the part aside from the food. We were given a space and the hostess as well as our bar assistant for the evening were both very nice. The simulator wasn't all we thought it would be. It was fun because we were all hanging out but the screen was definitely not doing the job. But all in all still a nice starter spot to go for a first date or something.

Went up to the Hub and there was a car show going on. Good turnout of cars. It was a bonus to the already activities available inside. It's been a while since we have been here. The have football /bowling, axe throwing and top golf swing suites. Ordered the steak tacos. The tacos were very good. They had a generous amount of steak and great flavor. Definitely making a return here soon.

Went here for the first time with friends over the weekend. We did axe throwing & the staff member there was very chill & fun. Next, we did fowling. I wish they had more nets or something to separate each lane because the football kept bouncing across the floor. We ended the night at the bar to eat. Food was great & staff was friendly. Overall a fun experience with excellent customer service. Will be back soon!

This place was a lot of fun, a lot to choose from. You have toppgolf there, football bowling, ax throwing and probably a couple other things that I didn’t see. Staff is friendly, definitely a place to go have a good night have fun.

Great place to have food and play it all: fowling and axe 🪓 throwing! Nice selection of beer 🍻 as well! Super friendly staff and enough parking outside. Next to nexteer and JSS.

Nothing brings out your inner Paul bunion like a few beers 🍻 mixed with axe throwing! Their food isn’t bad either, I ordered a square pie on this occasion that I highly suggest.

Visited the Hub on a Sunday afternoon alone while I’m Auburn Hills with work and it was great. Immediately felt welcome due to the amazing staff. Has a few beers and ordered wings which were amazing. They do Axe throwing and football bowling here which looked like great fun. Great place and highly recommended.

We started off by getting lunch here. Food was okay, but things went wrong when it came time for payment. The waitress put an order on the wrong card so they had to fix that, and then they charged more than $5 for each soda so they had to fix that as well. Then we decided to try out their top golf, and that was even worse. It looked like they had many options of many games and such for us to try, but only a couple of them actually worked and the others were very broken. We selected the games that they said would work, but they did not work as well. The games would crash and freeze in the middle of us trying to play, and at one point the game broke so badly that the no response page popped up. And even when it seems like the game was working, we would have to aim in a different spot in order to hit any targets. For example we tried to play a zombie dodgeball game, and we had to aim about 5 ft higher than the zombies in order to actually hit them. We talked to them once about all these issues and they gave us 15 minutes of extra time, but then they didn't do anything else about it. We ended up asking for our money back and they did give us 50% of our money back but considering we only got about 10 minutes of consistent play time this is not good enough. We will not be coming back here.

I attended an event that UWM/UMortgage hosted. The first day after all the training, they treated us to a night of dinner, drinks, and fun. Very cool place. You have several games to pick from to play. I love axe throwing and enjoying the competition. You can also golf or bombowl (throwing a football at large bowling pins to knock them down). They have a well stocked bar and excellent bartenders. Their waitstaff was great. I look forward to coming back. Keep up the good work.

WOW ..COOL...AMAZING.. and then I had the food. One of the coolest places I have ever been. 😎 I was a little afraid of the axes at first..but after watching everyone do it ..I wanna try. But 1st I ordered the Paul Bunyon Burger with strin fries, reccomended by my cheerful and informative waitress Elysia

Good food and cheap beer. I ordered the Paul Bunyan burger, which is big enough to share. The only downside is that the egg and the meat were overcooked. The staff is friendly and the service is good.

This is a great spot to hangout with friends and coworkers. Great options for activities, food, and drinks. The atmosphere has a great vibe. The Axe Throwing is a great time and the axe coaches are very helpful. Even with all these elements, I believe they do each of them great, but not one that is truly over the top - both the football bowling and axe throwing are cramped and packed too tightly. The prices are significantly high as well - which is understandable given the service you receive, but they are very inflexible with what they offer. They do not allow you to purchase and hour of fowling and an hour of ace throwing at the same time and trade off who does what activity - meaning you aren’t fowling if you start axe throwing. The hour for axe throwing goes by quick, so make sure arrive early!

Exciting place with lot of activities to do along with the enjoyment of drinks and food. Wished to do hammer throws but was all booked. Didn’t realize how popular it is. Will definitely try in my next visit to Michigan. Arcade is lively and hand bowling is a good team activity. Bars are busy and service was awesome. Servers kept us rolling and filling, you know what I mean 😉overall great fun 👍

The Hub was great for my mother's 60th Birthday. She had so much fun axe throwing and it was so nice to have our own teacher there to give us pointers the whole time. The space was pretty tight for 8 people (which the the max for each stall) and there was almost no table space. Other than that, it was a very nice space. Just be prepared to spend some $$$

Ordered french onion soup and they must have microwaved it for 10 minutes. Couldn't hardly eat after eating my meal. Between invading my civil rights by making you sign in and put down a phone number to making you wear a stupid mask made in China. Had a better burger from McDonald's. Over priced drinks.

We hosted my son’s graduation party here and let me say that the entire experience was fantastic! The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure that every request was met and offered many more ideas to have a great event. The space is very modern and hip, and we were able to decorate it exactly to our liking. The food (we chose the Mexican option) was fresh, delicious, and well received. What really sets this venue apart is the entertainment options. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the football bowling and axe throwing. Every guest commented on what an awesome party it was, and my son’s friends all say it was the best grad party they’ve been to yet! Kudos to the team at the HUB!!

First timers and we will definitely be back! I wish there was more places like this in Grand Rapids or Lansing. Virtual golf, football bowling (actually so fun) and axe throwing. Food was amazing and drinks were good too, prices were reasonable for a fun night out with friends. Highly recommend!

Really cool facility. Everyone was friendly and courteous (when you could get them to talk to you). Ordered food and appetizer... appetizer never came. Next we went to axe throwing, and that was great (coach Josh did a great job helping understand throwing). While there, we had to flag down a server to bring us anything. Then we went to football bowling which was cool. We carried over what we had been served at axe throwing and were never served again. After 45 minutes we waved down another server again to order 3 drinks and a soda. Waited another 50 minutes and nothing had showed up yet. Upon leaving and telling them what the problem was, all they said was "oh well they never turned in your order anyway so here's your bill"... no attempt to apologize or even ask if there is anything they can do. I don't care about getting free stuff but that was ridiculous

This place is pretty fun and will keep you entertained for a few hours. Pizza was not very good, staff was very nice and accommodating, not enough TVs, really good drinks, fowling is really fun. I really think that the new topgolf suites are going to take this place up a notch when they open.

It was really great. Good time out with the family. We enjoyed the dining experience which offered huge TV screens, music, & bar setting if interested. We sat at a family table which offered plenty of room for our party of 5. Also the manager was very accommodating & went above & beyond by taking items off our bill that he saw kids didn't touch! That was so cool. I didn't ask for that nor was it expected. They are very sanitary & spray sanatize between customers, practice social distancing, & must have a mask to enter, but you can take off at your table & while playing games. We played football bowling & it was so much fun!. I'd say a comfortable size team is around 4-6 players. It gets super competitive out there, so be sure to bring your A game! Also we tried the axe throwing which was a challenge for me, but I liked it. They have a coach that walks you through the axe throwing experience which was super helpful. They also had outside dining, food trucks, & top golf, but those didn't seem to be open at the moment. Can't wait until they are. Anyway, I had so much fun, but I am soo sore this AM! So just keep that in mind when out there playing all of these games if you're a non-active millennial like myself 🙂!

This place was pretty neat! We went for early dinner before a concert. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The food came out fast! The fried bang bang cauliflower was delicious 😋 Portions were great and the hand cut fries were amazing! Would definitely come back! I did not partake in any of the activities but it looked fun!

Our company hosted their Christmas party there, and as a sober nonathletic vegan I expected to not have the best time. I was proven wrong! The ax throwing was a blast, it was a great space for an event, and I was served the best portobello steaks I have had in my ENTIRE life. Great place to host events for people from all backgrounds, staff was friendly and attentive. Thanks again!

I was turned away because the kitchen closed early on bar time. Even though the Thursday night NFL game was still in the first half. Glad they resurrected an old brewery onto a sports bar. The bowling is a little wierd.

This was my first time back since their re-opening. The staff and food were amazing. Our server and the manager were incredibly accommodating, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy as they navigate the changes that come along with their re-opening. Honestly one of the best experiences I have had and hope they set the precedent for others.

Honest to goodness gracious, Dalton was "axeually" [actually] pretty fantastic. he was super funny and knew what he was talking about when it came to technique for throwing axes. he is quite frankly the man you wanna have coaching you... hands down the best. I would "axalutely" [absolutely] request him again. 🪓🪓

We (4 people total) went to The HUB to hangout and celebrate my birthday. We booked reservations for football bowling and axe throwing 4-5 days ahead of time. We arrived an hourly early and enjoyed sitting at the bar having a drink and some food. The check-in process for our game reservations was simple, we enjoyed the activities we did and all the staff was friendly. Especially our axe throwing coach Dalton, he was friendly, helpful, and fun to hang out with. We will be back!

First time going and went for my birthday. We had a great time experiencing throwing axes. Wished we had the option to purchase more time if we wanted but understandable if this is due to the pandemic. We also ate at the establishment and liked the use of the tablets to check out the different options of food and drinks. Food was good but not great. Me and my wife both felt that it was a little bland in the seasoning department. We will try a different course next time to confirm this.
