Omar's has redone their interior decorations and the mood is cozier and nice. Glad to see the relaxing new vibe in the dining area! My wife says Omar's has the best burger in the area. Big menu and friendly staff. We eat here often. Falafel is a good vegetarian item!

Incredible wings, maybe the best I've ever had! TRY THEM NOW! The two women behind the counter were very nice and my order was correct. My only disappointment was no bathroom so I could wash my hands, but those wings made up for it! Will definitely be back!

They have a great halal menu full of options…steak, lamb shank, wings, etc. It was amazing! The steak was big and well marinated. Tenders were so fresh and delicious. I love the lamb shank. So tasty! Highly recommend if you are looking for delicious food at reasonable price!

This place was easy to spot in traffic. There is a parking lot large enough for a lunch or dinner rush. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in. The place is clean and quiet. Dine-in is an option, with a view of traffic. I called ahead and ordered take out for lunch. The prices are very reasonable. $6.99 for a Gyro, Fries, and can soda. Authentic taste with fresh ingredients. I am excited to return for lunch again.

Omar's is one of a trifecta of restaurants in the Rock Road area that is proof you can find better food, hospitality, and value in your neighborhood than the absurd amount of chains. When I first moved here a year ago I felt like I was in a food desert, but it was for lack of trying on my part and not in the great options that we pass by every day without giving a second thought. The food. Omar's menu is huge and covers almost everything you'd want. American comfort food like whole wings, fried fish (good options on types, I might add), and griddle sandwiches, but the real star is Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern street food fare like kibbeh, baba ghanouj, and of course the gyro. A gyro sandwich with fries and a drink will run you a WAY better deal than any sandwich or burger place in the area, so don't even bother with them. The hospitality is second to none. My last visit was on a busy day for Omar's and the woman running the counter was effortlessly moving between taking orders over the phone, handling the growing crowd of people picking up (myself included), and greeting and catching up with regulars. In fact, almost everyone that showed up seemed to be familiar to her and I can see why, it's a treat to be treated so well at a counter service restaurant. I've only been three times but it's easily becoming a priority destination for me. P.S. Say yes to the "seasoning" on the fries. It looks like they practically coat them, but it's the perfect amount and it's delicious.

Great gyros and the fries were hot and fresh. It is a great take-out restaurant and one should not plan on dining in as there are only a few tables. Easy location to the airport when waiting to pick someone up or lunch after a flight.

The pizza I got was a disgrace. At first.glance the only thing off was the square cut. The dough was thin like a cracker, crunchy like one too, very little sauce, and way too salty. I ordered olives, got green ones that made the salty problem even worse. I know it was supposed to be St Louis style, but I was hungry to the point where most things taste good and this pizza was salty enough that I had to finish it in multiple sittings. 3/10 it should have been a regular pizza, not this disgrace.

Currently takeout only, and you'll be looking at about a 20 minute wait in your car but that's just because good food takes a bit to make. I loved it, my mom wasn't a huge fan, but she could order from the wide variety of non-Mediterranean foods next time and I'm sure they'd be delicious too

Employee was not wearing a mask. The fries were obviously store bought and not even cooked properly. The cans of soda were not brand name, they were cheap knockoffs.

shawarma sandwich’s was made with gyro bread and gyro meat ( very small portion thin slices ) with a lot of cheap lettuce . very disappointed with the new cook /new owners . Won’t be back for sure :/

Have eaten their several times before covid. Trying to order from there online or over the phone is horrible. Just tried to place an order for 4 people and was first told they have no online menus so what we were wanting wasn’t something they had. Then when trying to order gyros, we were told that we were asking too many questions and needed to come in to order and was hung up on. Absolutely horrible, and disappointing since there food is good, service is horrible.

First, I placed my order for pick up. The person on the phone not friendly at all. Second, when I get there I noticed how filthy the place was - FILTHY how in the world is this ok. -10 stars not ok the absolute worst I have seen. But friendly me, try to understand. Burn this place down immediately. Sorry got carried away! Third, the credit card machine was so dirty you could see the last number he pushed." There is a standard" Right? This is the opposite. This place will give you a gyro, fries, and a can of soda for ten bucks. They are friendly and fast. Not much to look at while you wait ( less than ten minutes), but their menu is vast and they are so nice. I go for their gyro.

Not thrilled with the food I had. Kibbeh and babba ganoush were kind of plain and not great. Shawarma was good. The smells from here were wonderful and they were doing a booming business so maybe it was just what I ordered. Cute place with convenient parking and pretty quick service. Reasonable prices and a good selection of menu items.

So so so very good! I've had Mediterranean food all over the country and the food here is definitely among the best. The beef & lamb shwarma was so delicious and fresh, the bread tastes homemade, and the rice was more flavorful that I'm use to with Mediterranean food. It's a definite go, I'll be back for sure ✔

Tried 15 different times to call and place an order for pickup. Someone finally answered on one of the times but immediately told me to hold on before I could even say a single word. Didn't put me on hold and I could hear them taking other orders. I finally just hung up and tried calling again. Once again several calls later, no one is answering anymore. Finally just gave up on trying to order. Very disappointing, was actually looking forward to trying out this place for the first time.

First time visit ordered my food online in advance because I planned on grabbing dinner after work… soon as I drove up to the restaurant I received a call from them and I’m thinking great my order is ready… well no it wasn’t and I had to wait about 15-20 minutes and once I finally received my order the food wasn’t even hot & the food definitely had been sitting out for hours. The cashier was pleasant.

The last time I bought food from there, I was very disappointed. My entire order was refrigerator cold! The fries felt as if they were just taken out of the freezer and put in my container. I wish I would have checked my order before I got all the way home. Disappointing, because they used to be one of my favorite places.

Everything is Delicious! Generous portions. Great customer service. Makes me want to try EVERYTHING on the menu!

Excellent place for Mediterranean food in a faster pace kitchen. The chicken shawarma was excellent, the speed and juiciness of the chicken and the steak was spectacular. When in north St Louis or by the airport you have to stop. Dining room is open and the takeout scene is dont get left behind.

I moved up here from South County about 5 years ago. I found this place and was addicted. Amazing food, service and people. Their attention to detail is great. You won’t be disappointed

They do NOT offer military discount. This is definitely a takeout restaurant. There is some booths and some seating. But I would definitely grab food and go. There's just not enough indoor space, if they are crowded. As for the food, the food was pleasant. It was cooked well. And my dish was very hot by the time I got it home. They wrapped the food in a tin foil, which I find to be perfect for taking your food home or on the go. It definitely kept my food nice and hot. If you get fries make sure you add lemon pepper to the fries. There's a few restaurants that do this with lemon pepper on the fries. If you've never tried it I suggest you ask them to put it on. They're soda selection that they have is pretty good. No name brand sodas or anything. But you can get a flavor I'm sure you'd like. Everything from root beer, to black cherry, to even watermelon. I was honestly tempted to try the watermelon soda. But I stuck with the root beer this time. The beautiful young girl behind the counter wearing the hijab and nose ring was very pleasant and charming. She gave me an honest idea when my food would be out. And would constantly come and check on the front for people. Her constant smile while she was working was a pleasant feature to this little restaurant.

Take out was busy and reviews were good but not my experience, but my wife did enjoy her Greek salad in baba ganoush but we waited 50 minutes for our food,I ordered the Omar grill,the chicken kabobs were terrible over cooked,dry and tough.30 minutes after we ordered she informed us they were out of one of the items on this Dish they replaced it with extra kabob.when our order was ready it came in Styrofoam containers with plastic forks and knives.could have just taken it home,no Idea dining in was carry out you eat there, would have been nicer taking it home,why waiting 50 minutes we noticed how dirty the floor was,the windows were dirty and finger prints and smears all over them.the rail of some sort next to our table by the window was so dusty and yuk obviously hadn't been cleaned ever! The soda coolers were the same Then when we finished what we could eat basically the rice and pita,the trash was overflowing and had to put our trash on top of the container, this was all from 7:45 pm-8:15pm Friday night, and you have to pay before,which I included a 20% tip based on the expectation of food and service from reviews...what a mistake the tipping was totally unnecessary based on our experience. And that is saying something because I always believe in 20 -25% Gratuity and usually it is always deserved.until tonight..Very disappointing...

I ordered through Postmates the falafel sandwich and hummus and this place was absolutely fantastic. I lived in the Middle East for a time and it felt like I was back there eating this amazing food! Very flavorful! And I don’t know what that seasoning is on the fries, but I need some of that in my house! Thank you so much Omar’s Grill! 100/10 would recommend!

Was traveling through St. Louis for work and stopped on a whim at this place. Very divers soda selection and the food was fantastic. Definitely more of a take out place but the food doesn't really feel like that. I had the shawarma and baba ganouj and both were fantastic.
