Favorite restaurant I ate at during my visit to Maggiore. The food is superb... wide array of dishes to choose from. I had the black angus steak which was perfectly cooked. The dinner view is amazing if you are lucky enough to sit outside. Sometimes even fireworks are shot off in the distance! And most importantly the owners are AMAZING!! Most genuine people I have ever met. Both of them stayed after to listen to stories of my travels ... then gave me recommendations on things to do based off the stories I told them. They were actually listening to me!! Highly recommend

Special energy about this place. Secluded, on the shore of one of the most pristine lakes in Europe. Perfect for relaxing and recharging the soul. The food of Chef Felipe Giavina-Bianchi is amazing, top-notch quality. The hotel is very removed, quiet and yet very centrally located; close to several historic, charming little cities (and easy to reach from the big ones, such as Milan and Turin, if you need to). Ideal to just sit back and rewind by the lake, explore the nature around the area (which is so beautiful that they seem like those images from jigsaw puzzles), go for bike rides or do day-trips to one of the many beautiful cities, lakes and mountains within less than an hour from the hotel. Rooms are cozy, spacious and very comfortable. All very new and well kept. The staff is so friendly that they make you want to just stay there. Amazing place.

Patricia&Filipe are fantastic hosts! Their little brand new restored guest house/restaurant/bicycle rental is embedded within beautiful landscape of Lago di Mergozzo. Magnificent lake view, very familiar and friendly athmosphere. Really outstanding place, delicious cuisine..exploring the region by bicycle is it!!!...and and and...we‘ll be back again, truely!!

All in all a really good and fine dining experience, was very happy. service is incredibly friendly and fast, beautiful view, relaxing atmosphere. had the spaghetti with pecorino and paprica and it was very tasty. the only thing negative I can say is that the portions were a bit small. but besides that, I was content, thank you !

We had a great time: lake view accompanied by real caipirinhas (bartender is Brazilian) and picanha. Their menu also offers other plates more on a fusion approach. Looking forward to come back and try them all.

We rented a great Cinelli bike for a daytrip and had good dinner! Loved the Picanha. Best off all was the friendly staff.
