I
have
now
been
to
the
neighbourhood
centre
for
a
number
of
different
events.
Yesterday
was
a
community
expo
featuring
the
type
of
community
groups
in
the
Sherwood/
Corinda
area.
A
fortnight
ago
was
a
celebration
event
for
Queensland
day.
Each
time
I
have
visited
I
found
the
staff
very
warm
and
helpful.
It's
a
terrific
community
Centre.
A
number
of
light
bright
rooms
and
toilet
facilities
and
kitchenette.
A
little
difficult
to
get
parking
at
times
but
there's
also
some
disability
parking
in
the
street.
Each
event
I
attended
we
were
also
being
generously
provided
with
lunch
tea
and
coffee,
wraps,
scones
and
cream
etc.
This
made
an
opportunity
to
socialise
well
with
others
Matt,
the
manager
is
a
very
warm
and
generous
spirited
and
helpful
person.
It
is
clear
that
the
centre
gives
a
lot
to
support
to
many
people
in
many
ways.
There
is
also
an
op
shop
at
the
side
of
the
centre
open
half
days
Monday
to
Thursday.
The
centre
is
the
venue
for
some
great
activities
-many
and
varied!
Movement,
art,
craft
and
lots
more.
Best
to
go
online
or
Facebook
to
look
up
at
all
their
events
and
regular
classes
they
hold
as
there
is
numerous
everyday.
