We came here for a weekday lunch to use the entertainment voucher but then had to do a minimum spend? We would have been better off ordering a lunch deal in that instance. I’m a bit unsure of the quality and freshness of ingredients used on my chicken and fish tacos.

Was so disappointed. 1pm New Years Day. As we entered there was a few tables dirty before you sat down. Didn't give a good impression as it wasn't busy just understaffed (only 1 server on the floor). Asked to ensure starter came at the start and not with main course. Had to remind. Drinks didn't arrive until after starter (too slow) then was just a can soft drink plumped on the table, no glass, no ice, no effort. My partners cocktail was average. Main course arrived and very underwhelmed and unlike the pictures advertised on their menu. Steak was tasteless, overcooked and chewy. Was surprised Fajita toppings served in plastic tubs not china. No need. Cutlery presented on some kitchen roll which felt again underwhelming. I feel this place could be great if managed efficiently as the majority of corrections wouldn't cost a single dollar....its just basic service. The location is not great if you decide to sit outside or bring your young kids. Expect crazy people to shout and vent threatening behavior close by. Not the restaurants fault, its just Southport has a jailhouse nearby so often the next day many from the funny farm released. Overall pretty poor experience and would not return. UPDATE 10/01/2022: Contacted last week and no reply. Further proof customer service is lacking. Avoid.

This would be my very first review on google :P, I was passing by this Mexican restaurant "Burrito Bar" stood near the menu card stand looking for the menu items. The staff approached me and spoke about the deals and took me inside. Which was very welcoming for me :)! I tried their chicken torta and fries and some paprika wings, i bet you these are the best wings and tasty burger I have had in a longtime. Clicked the burger after eating the fries thou ;). Yummy food and thanks for the great service :) :). Will surely come again!!

Very mediocre, bland, no flavor or spice whatsoever. We're Americans so we're used to amazing Mexican and Tex Mex food, plus we've been to Mexico a dozen times. Unfortunately we would rather go to Taco bell than go back to burrito bar. Staff were friendly though.

Food is great though a couple of times it's taken them a while to serve the food. Atmosphere is brought down to it being in Southport which is still a hub of junkies.

We are very unhappy with the chicken wings and burrito I ordered with my boyfriend, the food took a long time and there was only one table in front of us. The chicken wings were not cooked well and had way too much bbq sauce (spicy bbq. But was sweet, not spicy). The burrito was tasteless.

The only bad thing was the wait time for food. The ribs were absolutely lip smacking delicious, so were the churros for dessert!

What can you say about this place? Entered and thought it was closed as there was no one at the front counter or walking the floor. Went to the kitchen to alert staff so I could order, and went through the painful experience of the staff not understanding nachos with no black beans. Sat down and waited for food with our margaritas arriving which looked severely lacking in volume. Nachos arrived and staff spilt some in my drink, which wasn't as bad as the oversized plate having a poor man's portion, especially for a large. The nachos were also soggy and had beans dispite being told to omit them. Overall the staff are inattentive and have little to no customer service skills. Calling the food average is a complement, would avoid at all costs and head to any other restaurant in a 100 meter radius.

I ordered 20 pieces of wings on 4th Jan. There was no flavor in the wings at ALL like I was eating plain wings(chose paprika). The worst part? They fried wings, but haven’t completely removed the feathers. Probably the most disgusting wings I’ve ever encountered. Find out who checked the raw wings that day because it’s out of bound and unacceptable for a kitchen hand or staff.

Walked in on a Monday night. NO staff to be found. Partner had to order from the kitchen window after we found ourselves a seat ☠️ Both our margaritas came out in cool glasses but…. HALF FULL. Literally a half filled glass. Disgraceful. We wanted beef nachos, beef wasn’t available (of course…), so we ordered chicken with no black beans. Waiter brought it out, FILLED with black beans and it DRIPPED into one of our drinks 😳 I have never seen such a poor effort disguised as a “meal”. Our ‘large’ nachos were a soggy plate of mess with corn chips not even filled around the entire plate. They just ended at a certain point 🫤 Shared my disappointment with staff but only got blank stares. Teenagers at McDonald’s can deliver better hospitality. To finish my night a crazy homeless man scared the hibjeebies out of me. Potato Madness across the road looks better…. Played cool music too 🫣

Extremly happy with everything here! Eat here on a monday, where you gey tacos for 2.5 dollars each (eextremly cheap) which were Great! Nice drinks as well as they were cheap. We even got free nachos, 10/10 recommend for everybody in Southport.

Wonderful place, staff working incredibly hard to serve the multiple tables full. Ordered the Jalapeno Poppers, the Pulled Pork Burrito and Chilli Burrito and have no complaints at all. Wonderful work guys keep it up!!

If you are in Southport seeking for a real and delicious food, I highly recommend this place. Nice customer service, good variety of food in their menu, also the Latin vibes in the atmosphere. Don’t think twice to go there.

Best wings EVA Oh and cold Coronas

I always get 2 for 1 burritos on a Tuesday. Beef and chicken are my go-to’s but the chicken reigns supreme. Seriously some of my highest rated, recommend to all if your looking for a tasty Mexican fix for a reasonable price. You won’t walk away hungry!

We had wings, Nachos and Tacos and enjoyed every dishes. Service was quick too and the staff were very helpful. Highly recommended 👌👌👌

The food is great! But they lose one star because I went there, ordered and paid for a large burrito. Ended up with a tiny one and since it was take away, they probably knew I couldn’t be bothered coming back to fix it. I’m hoping it was just an honest mistake. Anyway, food is flavoursome, but now that I live closer, if they mess up again, I will be coming back to make it right. First time I tried the fish burrito, it tasted fresh. Not so fresh tasting the next time I tried and they gave me the tiny burrito. I didn’t get sick, thank god.

Had a great time & food, the ribs rack & chips tasted awesome. Would want to give it 5/5 but pretty disappointed with the lack of hygiene, chicken feathers were still seen on some of wings. Hope staffs could pay more attention to it

super surprised this place isn’t more busy! had the 5$ burritos upgraded for $2.50 extra and some sides, was super well prices and everything was so flavourful. very fast service, the food took less than 10mins to come out
