The day tour on Moreton Island was absolutely amazing. As is the case with anything out there, not everything went to plan as cars got bogged and not everyone fit on the bus, but all the staff members pivoted so quickly with utmost positivity and found ways to keep everyone entertained and engaged. The way all the guides managed to stay so happy and chatty with everyone even though it was hot and there was so many of us was so refreshing and nice. Again the staff bent over backwards for us right until we were back in Surfers. The bus was overcrowded again coming home so they got us a Taxi and Josh was outstanding in his customer service all the way home even though he was no longer on the clock and exhausted. Will 1000% be booking with Sunset Safaris again!!

Took a tour to Moreton Island on 24/10/22 and couldn't be happier with the experience! The crew was great - very professional as well as fun. Once we arrived on the island, we started the day with a bus-ride to the middle of the island for sand tobogganing. We came back to the beach for lunch, which was followed by snorkeling, where wet suits were provided, and sea kayaking in clear kayaks that allowed you to see fish swimming underneath. A full day of fun - did not feel rushed during any of these activities. Note that while lunch is provided, breakfast is not (available for purchase on the 90 minute ferry ride to reach the island). Would highly recommend booking with this group!

I took a tour of Moreton Island with my friends on 15/09/2022,we had a nice day!All the staff are so friendly and professional😇 Also special thanks to my hero Chris who found my phone from the ocean🥹 I lost my mobile phone in the ocean while snorkeling. The tour guide Chris jumped down without saying a word and helped me find it. I found it after two hours! thank him so much🙏🏻

Had an incredible time with Sunset Safaris. My friends and I booked a 1-day tour to Moreton Island and had an opportunity to see some of Moreton’s most iconic spots. We kayaked and snorkelled around the Tangalooma Wrecks and sand boarded in the Tangalooma Desert. Favourite part of the trip was probably sand boarding, as being a Canadian and having tobogganed down snow, it was pretty amazing to be able to it down sand. The guides were the backbone of our experience and did such a good job of leading us through all of the activities. They made a point of getting to know each of us and all of our names. Customer service was 10/10. Especially Chris, the man is an absolute unit, having ran up the sand dune 5 or 6 times just to get GoPro shots of all us going down on the sand boards. Overall it was a very good trip and I would recommend for a group of friends, families, or backpackers.

Poor customer experience. We booked for 4 with a friend who has a moonboot. After seeing a doctor who validated the fact that our friend could do the excursion (knowing that she would only do half of it even paying the full price we were ok with that!), we still called the company to validate with them, which they did. 24 hours before the excursion, they decided to cancel for my friend, without asking our opinion. We talked to them on the phone, we were cordial (working in retail, I know how to be respectful of staff), after several exchanges with them, they started to become aggressive and disrespectful, even though I had just said "mh ok". They were unpleasant as can be, we certainly didn't give this company our money. We went with River to Bay who were amazing!!!! Understanding and lovely with my moonboot friend, who just wanted to spend a day with her girlfriends on Moreton Island.

The Moreton Island day tour with Sunset Safari was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Today, We went on a day trip to mouton island with 3 kids aged 3,5,8. The staff was amazing, helping with kids. We all had a fantastic day. I appreciate all the help I got with activities. They all understood the challenges with kids. I would do this again. Kids really want to come back again

We had such a lovely time on the Moreton island. Fantastic team - Talented, very warm, welcoming and most importantly accommodating to the needs of different individuals with varied capabilities in the water. Thanks team and especially both Josh and Josh, Bryan for taking such good care of our group and making sure we had the best experience on the island with the activities. You guys are outstanding. In terms of place itself, highly recommend trip to Moreton island especially if you are staying in gold coast or Brisbane and surrounding areas. secondly, if you want to make the best of the island in a day, highly recommend booking with these guys as you get to experience Kayak and Snorkeling next to ship wrecks, amazing bus ride through the forest to the desert, and sliding down on the beautiful sand in the desert. Unforgettable experience overall.

Can not be disappointed anymore! We got stood up. not professional at all. We booked a trip for a Christmas getaway back in August and received the confirmation shortly but on the date of the tour, we went to the pick-up point on time and no pick-up bus came. it was early morning, not during office hours and they didn’t leave any number other than the office phone number. so we can’t reach anyone in charge for sure, the picking up bus name was on the scheduled board of the bus terminal, that's why we wait for an hour, we thought they might get something happened so stuck on the road. After an hour of waiting we quit and leave. get in touch with them afterwards, turns out they cancelled the trip but WITHOUT any notice, not even an email. won’t give a star if there’s a zero.

Amazing trip to Morton island! The stuff was nice and ocean was sooo clear. We saw so many different kind of fishes and turtle! There is a plenty of lunch,snack,water. So just bring your swimmer and towels,everything else is there. I definitely like to come back there!

We went out in a clear bottom canoe on Moreton Island today and Bryce was an absolute super star! That guy was doing laps up and down the beach making sure that everyone was okay. Total workout for Bryce in choppy seas but we had an awesome time! Thanks for a perfecto day! 👌🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The tour I went on was the Moreton Island tour and it was a beautiful day and I had a great time interacting with everyone. The scenery was breathtaking, the staff was super friendly and fun with a great personality. The lunch provided was refreshing & I love that they provided water after the sand boarding event along with hosting the activities with all the equipment needed. I’d also like to say thank you all the crew, and the names I remember such as Josh, Joe, and that new guy Bryce who is a great addition to the team.

While they set out to do great things, we weren't able to snorkel for even 10 minutes because 'there is no time' and kayaking was not possible (due to the weather) but I wonder if kayaking would have been possible at all due to there being no time! The fact that they moved our tour to 9:30am (departing at after 10) - meant we got less than 5 hours at the island. Not worth ~250+ !

Amazing snorkeling location, we saw lots of different fish, a turtle and even a small shark. Kayaking and dune sliding were fun too. Very friendly guides. I would definitely recommend it, great value for the money!

The team was super awesome for helping us hand feed fish, Lulu was super accommodating to our changes, and Josh was amazing for looking forever for what i thought was my lost phone but it was just around my neck. Great team for a great experience!

The night kayaking around the Moreton Island Wrecks was basically everything I had expected. Our tour guide Isaiah really made it all and I can't recommend this highly enough. Our booking had been pushed back due to weather conditions but we managed to find a day to rough through it and it was absolutely worth it. Other guests were fortunate enough to spot a turtle and some squid, even without those sightings, the fish and coral still made the tour worth it and again, I can't thank the tour guide Isaiah enough, he really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed everything. He was very knowledgeable about the Wrecks including local fauna, history, weather etc. Whether you're camping on the island or staying at Tangalooma, this is a must do.

Too pricey for what they have to offer. We booked over the phone and had to overpay for at least 20 dollars each (we weren't warned about this). The prices are not even unified on their website - on top of the page, it says you pay 179 + 70 dollars, in the middle of the page it says 149 + 50. Nevertheless, they charged us 199 + 70. In addition to that, we did not go kayaking. I understand that the current was too strong, but in this case with this exaggerated prices, the company should give some of the money back. 270 dollars per person is in my opinion too expensive for only an hour of sledging and less than an hour of snorkelling.

We went to moreton island and it was incredible! An infinite amount of fish while snorkelling and they swim right next to you. Josh and John the tour guides were super friendly and funny, food was amazing and fresh. Definitely would go again :)

My partner & I had such a wonderful day trip to Moreton island. Our host & driver Chris was absolutely outstanding and his genuine charisma and love for his job is unmatched. From 5:45am-7:30pm, Chris did everything in his capability of making sure we all had so much fun, and it was evident that everyone did. Steph, you were a blast! Thank you for a good laugh and a cheeky recommendation to a local restaurant! I would highly recommend touring with this amazing crew.

Another great tour with Sunset Safaris, this time to the fabulous Moreton Island. We could not ask for more. Our two day explorer tour was jam packed again with superb activities under professional and fun guidance by CHRIS, who not only has profound knowledge of the whole island but also proved to be a really good company. We were safely transported and were looked after all the time yet could enjoy all activities in our own pace. Really liked that we were in small groups that made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Another personal favourite was the campfire with our guide, Chris where he shared interesting stories and we all had a great chat under the stars. Really recommend this tour for everyone, especially for couples with no 4WD. This tour comes with excellent price/value balance and the upgrade to beach house accommodation gives you privacy. Moreton island get wrecked tour was the highlight of my whole trip to Gold Coast. Well worth having to get up before 5am for the 545am departure time The staff were great, friendly and patience. Was well looked after and one definitely have to try sand boarding, even if it’s was a struggle to climb back up to the top of hill to have another go. The Kayaking and snorkeling around wrecks was spectacular - so many fishs around the wrecks.

What a tour to Moreton Island!!! I am so amazed. Had so much fun and laughter. Great staff!! Isaiah was such a great tour guide! He was well prepared if we can’t do things due to weather, he had plan B and C and he did his best to make us happy. Great stuff Isaiah! Also the bus driver Nevell is super good and lovely. Our group of 6 people enjoyed the day at Moreton island. The trip execution was flawless considering travel and adventure. All facilities were available in addition of delicious /fulfilling lunch. My friends and I experienced a lively atmosphere. Sand-boarding guides were very supportive and friendly. Vivi, our snorkeling instructor made this experience more exciting with her constant supervision and enlightening guidance, kayaking was great as well. I strongly advice this tour (day trip) to others, all the best.
