I have been visited this coffee several times since May 2020. I have invited my friends here many times as well. I believe that Blue Sky Coffee is one of the best coffee roasters in Brisbane. Callum Jubb, who is the director of Blue Sky, is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy his philosophy of roasting coffee and his selections of single origins. I’ve bought and tried a lot of coffee beans from this coffee shop, and I highly recommend visiting it.

Awesome smooth coffee with almond milk. Great customer service too! There are 2 parks allocated for Blue Sky in their complex, but if they are full, there's usually parking on the street nearby.

Wonderful passionate thoughtful couple that now own the Blue Sky. Callum is a brilliant barista. Freshly roasted coffee and Harney Tea all so good. Wheelchair and stroller accessible as well as parking

This review is updated after trying the coffee beans. Service: 5/5 - I had a great experience with the coffee gentleman who was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to answer all of my inquiries about their coffee products. Coffee: 5/5 - As a coffee lover who appreciates single origin coffee beans and the flavors they acquire from their origin lands, I asked for recommendations for coffee beans for filter coffee. I was recommended to try the Panama Casa Blanca. The coffee had notes of passionfruit, mango, and tropical flavors, which were clearly recognizable. There was also a hint of butteriness, but it did not affect the amazing taste of the coffee. Coffee beans: 2/5 - I ordered the Ecuador 🇪🇨 coffee beans shown in the photo. The coffee beans are under-roasted. I could tell as I have 3 years of experience in roasting coffee beans. I used V60 filter, and the taste of the coffee was sour and grassy. Vibe: 3/5 - The atmosphere was nice, but it may not suit everyone. The table options inside were limited and less than the standard. If you're just looking to enjoy the coffee, I strongly recommend this place. However, if you want to enjoy a beautiful place with coffee with someone, I do not recommend it. Additionally, it's not recommended to visit in hot weather because there is no air conditioning and it is open to the outdoor area.

A coffee roastery where you can buy beans & sample the wonderful coffee. The flavour in the brew is spot on, rich, strong & smooth. Definitely only needs one shot in the small cup. I ordered two shots & although I found it too strong there wasn't a hint of bitterness, beautiful brew

Cosy little industrial cafe, situated amongst a bay of warehouses. Visited early on a weekday morning and quite enjoyed our stay, the cafe had beautiful open seating! Parking was a little tricky due to the businesses it’s surrounded by, street parking is also metered on weekdays so you’re lucky if you snag a park on-site like we did. We were the only dine-in customers at the time we visited, with a few locals dropping in. We found the vibe to be a little awkward as there was no music playing or anything- just us sitting in silence. The owner however was really nice, greeting us on arrival and served us quickly. We ordered two coffees, one decaf and the other not. My cappuccino had an interesting deep taste- which from further inspection was due to their combination beans. I hadn’t tasted anything like it before, so I really enjoyed it. The decaf coffee was a little bitter, however still enjoyable as the other. Important to note there are no menu items here as it’s just an espresso bar- although we did know this, we thought there might be a few cabinet items to try, which there weren’t. I definitely think this is a place locals in the area should try out. I can see the passion that’s put into making the coffees and beans, and love their dedication to providing great service. I probably wouldn’t travel out of my way to visit again, but if I’m the area I definitely would!

They have a wide selection of coffee beans, whatever coffee you prefer, they probably have a bean for it. The coffee (Midnight Oil blend) tasted amazing, it was well priced, and the staff was really kind in explaining the flavor profile of the coffee. A must try in Brisbane.

Blue sky coffee is one of the best coffee shops in Brisbane. I really like the selected coffee beans, especially the Ethiopian coffee. The service was great. Callum is very friendly and helpful. I recommend visiting this coffee shop and getting coffee beans.

Our favourite place in Brisbane to buy whole bean, get a superb filter or espresso and/or alternative milk drink. Old school/contemporary coffees and expert knowledge and service from Cal and Jarrod. Highly recommended.

Excellent coffee from an industrial shed. Have also purchased midnight oil blend beans for the machine at home which were excellent.

Wow! If you’re reading this and you are thinking about going. Think no longer and shake your tale over. The team here ooze enthusiasm for coffee and service, which only makes dinking my coffee more enjoyable. Simple, eclectic cafe whom roast onsite. Plenty of specialty coffee on offer that shouldn’t disappoint. Whenever I’m in Queensland I’ll be definitely popping in for some delicious coffee and service. Thanks team for having us. Big pleasure. 💯💯💯

One of the most enjoyable, if not the BEST, cafe experiences I've had in my life. Had the fortune to visit when there were no other customers around so I managed to chat to Jarrod, who was the barista working at the time. I let him know that I was new and trying to get into specialty coffee, and how I was struggling to taste different notes in coffees from different regions and made with different processes. Jarrod was kind enough to take time out of his day (even though him and the owner Callum were busy with roasting and other things) to explain many things to me, as well as walking me through tasting and what tastes and notes to look out for in each of the coffees I tried. I learnt a lot today and I can't believe these lovely passionate people were willing to spend 2 hours just talking to me and teaching me about coffee. Would definitely pay a visit and buy some beans every time I come back to Brisbane! Oh and of course, the coffee was delicious. Tried the Kirasa, Lorayne, and the Midnight Blend, all as filter coffees!
