There is always a big queue at the store. You have to get a ticket in order to queue up! There is a guy standing at the entrance, make sure to get a ticket, this way you sign up. Otherwise you will not be signed up for the queue. You should reserve enough time if you want to try the food here, we waited approx. an hour. Also the street is not in a good location. Lots of cars and motorcycles try to squeeze in between the pedestrians, some times it becomes dangerous, so be careful! The owners let locals pass in without having a ticket, so be prepared and don’t get mad if people walk in. Other than that: the focaccia tastes really good and given its price point 3,50 euros it’s absolutely fair. Considering the conditions you have to bare to get this I wouldn’t do it again. Not worth the wait frankly speaking. But it’s delicious tough.

One of the 2 best Focaccia we ate in Bari. Authentic, full of flavour, cheap. Worth joining the long line of locals waiting for it to open every day. Read more: bittermansguide.com

Prepare for a long waiting time (we waited about 30-40 minutes in the sun), but it's very much worth it! The foccaccia is amazing and only costs 3,50/piece ⭐ If you have some extra time, definitely visit this place. They also sell some other traditional Italian baked goods.

It's true that the foccaccia is good (and they also make it at 9 in the morning if you want it for breakfast) but I'm not sure it's worth queuing for hours.

the focaccia barese here is really nice, worth the queue! best eaten when it’s just come out from the oven! the price is really cheap. they sell a lot of bread options and also local handmade pasta. the cashier is also really friendly, speaks english and helpful.

Tastes lovely and €3 for the whole thing. I started to queue up at 5:50pm but it didn’t open until 6:45pm (even though the sign said it opens at 6:15pm). I’m learning that through Italy this is normal. The queue gets long so as long as you don’t mind standing for a bit, nice to check it out and have some local famous focaccia.

Go grab this crunchy, warm and yummy Focaccia Barese for just €3—it might be the best you’ve ever tasted! I waited in line around 15 minutes at 10:30, but it was definitely worth it. Wish I’d also tried their breads and pastries, they also looked so fresh and tasty.

Great focaccia, long queue that goes very slow. They allow locals to jump the queue to buy their bread but other Italians visiting too take advantage and try to jump the queue all the time to buy focaccias. Very frustrating although the focaccia is very good (and salted). I wonder if they like to be treated like that when they visit other countries.

Very good and cheap Focaccia! It was still warm when I bought it and very crispy with tomato and olives. You just6have to wait in queue because so many people want to buy it but it's totally worth it!

Hands down the best focaccia I have ever eaten in my entire life. The dough was out of this world like. Perfectly soft inside and crispy on the outside. Topped with olives and tomatoes 🍅 , salt and olive oil 🫒 10/10 would come back a million times!!

Best focaccia you might ever have. What else needs to be said? I wish I had been able to sample more of the baked goods. What I had was simply heavenly!

Focaccia is one the things you have to try in Puglia. Panificio Santa Rita is the place where you should start to live the trully experiencie. The tomatoes, the flour, and the olive oil, makes the focaccia barese one of the top 3 italian dishes.

Best focaccia Barese in bari!! This is a must try dish, even if it means standing in the long line. Super cheap! Whole focaccia is 3 euros, the slice in the picture only 70 cents, recommended!

Went at 6:15 and it wasn’t opened so we stood there thinking it would open soon. It didn’t open so we walked somewhere else and then came back to a queue a few mins later! Stood in line for a bit longer but these focaccia is WORTH IT. Get it fresh! It’s so crunchy! It’s the cheapest foccacia out there. €3 for a whole circle of a foccacia.

For me and my wife this is the best foccacia in all of puglia! It is definitely worth waiting in queue ;)

Hands down that this place served me the best Focaccia that I have ever had!. The store owner is such an amazing guy with all smiles and helped me choose my pick. This is the cheapest place for bakery yet without any compromise on the quality. I absolutely would recommend this place to everyone and can’t wait to get back here for more. But beware of the fat guy who lets all the local people ahead and the only ones standing in the queue are the decent ones or tourists probably. It’s a total shame to waste people’s time such as these.
