I've been an Optician for 27 years so I know great quality, selection and customer service in Optical when I see it. I've been to many Optical businesses in the Gulf Coast area and Fifty Dollar Eye Guy has the best selection of frames around. I fell in love with a beautiful handmade, European frame by Tom Davies. If you're looking for something unique like I was; you'll find what you're looking for here. Not only will you fall in love with the frame and lens selection you'll fall in love with Lynn too. I've known her for a few years and she is always consistently sweet and pleasant. Being on the other side of the desk as the customer and selecting the right frame gives me some anxiety despite my own experience. Lynn's calm personality will make the process super easy.

Best eye car experience I have ever had. Lynn is the best and makes sure you get exactly what you want! While I waited I also went to their coffee guy and it is amazing, they have great smoothies and coffees.

Great customer service. I've been putting off getting an eye exam & glasses but I finally did it. I walked in & was helped right away. The whole thing lasted a little over an hour. I ended up with a pair of glasses with anti-reflective coating & a pair of prescription polarized sunglasses with a protection plan for less than $500, which I expected to spend that on one pair. So, I am very happy with my visit.

Really enjoyed our visit to this location. Haley in the eye center was fantastic. She's very knowledgeable and eager to help. Plus, the coffee is absolutely delicious!! Definitely go check this place out for your next eye exam or coffee break.

I honestly can say with free Wi Fi, great coffee and goodies, and an awesome atmosphere, where else would u go for the greatest eye care around with an incredible staff that will cater to you and let you take your time in selecting your frames. Oh and did I mention Joseph the Dr. Of Optometry did an amazing job with me and showed incredible patience. In short, it is like going to your cool Aunts house where everyone and everything is chill but the difference is the technology and how “current” they are and relevant. First time I have had a thorough eye exam and did not have to have my eyes dilated because they also use Optomap which is an ultra-wide field retinal image which shows up to 82% of your retina in one capture! Traditional methods typically reveal only 10-15% of the retina at one time. I don’t work here by the way but I am blown away that I don’t have to leave with dilated eyes. You will not be sorry. Leaving smiling with my coffee!!

I had an eye exam with Dr. Grace today. She was very professional and very thorough. She made sure I was completely happy with my prescription. I ordered glasses and sunglasses from Jennifer. She was amazing at helping me choose frames. I loved her honesty! We will be returning customers!!

Cecilia is always the best. I hate picking out glasses and she always finds the best solutions. She is super knowledgeable and fun. Great energy coming from this place all around 10 out of 10. Recommend to anyone needing their eyesight checked out. Just ask for her.

The wide selection of stylish frames they had was impressive, and I appreciated their expert advice in helping me choose the best one for my face shape. The whole process, from getting my prescription checked to picking up the final glasses, was smooth and efficient. I'm thrilled with my new glasses and the excellent service I received. She made this difficult experience a dream!! She was so patient , knowledgeable of all of the glasses available and also gave me great suggestions of frames. The staff was wonderful…..from my eye exam to picking out my glasses. Dr. Grace, Dr. Joseph, and the rest of the staff took great care of me! The only thing missing was that I didn’t have time to grab a pumpkin spiced latte on my way out because I had to run to pick up our child from school. So I’ll be back tomorrow 😂 If you are a pumpkin spice latte fan…give CG a try. It blows that other chain coffee shop out of the water!

If you need an eye doctor, glasses, and a coffee you should visit Fifty Dollar Eye Guy. And they have Opto a picture taking device that looks at your eyes blood vessels without having to be dilated. The staff are super helpful. Ask for Matt!

Lauren was super nice!! she helped me pick super cute glasses that fit my face shape. She was super thorough on the payment and made sure i understood everything before payment. Dr Spoors was super kinda and everything went super quick.

Not only are the services affordable, it's also very easy and flexible to schedule appointments. I always have and always will recommend this to others, especially because of Steven and the other great employees!

What a wonderful experience, the staff are the best and knowledgeable about everything optical. I purchased my glasses and had an issue in less then a year with the ear pieces on the frames. I walked in and walked out in less then 10 minutes with them fixed perfectly. Two years later the frames still look great, but again I had another issue with the rimless wire. Walked in, boom they were fixed again. Service, service, and more service, no questions asked. Why go anywhere else?

Jennifer helped the both of us find just the most amazing glasses, she was efficient and knowledgeable, that eyeguy is lucky to have such a compassionate and thorough person on his staff. We watched her help and acknowledge every single person! WOW! Saw her answer questions from the staff and help a gentleman with his broken glasses. Would recommend this place 100% they obviously higher only the best and we sure felt that.
