The food is delicious. The place is spacious and the decor is beautiful. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly.. My orders were lamb mandi, chicken mandi and beef okra, all of which were delicious and the best thing was that they offered us baklava and hospitality tea.

Standard fare Lebanese/Turkish. The Super Al Sham mixed grill was enough for 2 to be comfortably full. The baklava was nice enough. They took our plates away prematurely during our mains (and before we got dessert) and asked us to move tables. English was a bit of a struggle for the waitress. My stomach was a bit rough that evening too. It’s fine but there’s nothing different to justify me wanting to come back.

This is the most delicious food I’ve eat in Uk, the staff are very friendly, it’s cheap according to other restaurants, I recommend Alsham restaurant to everyone.

Perfect taste for everything single dish we've ordered for 2 adults and 2 kids we ordered Special Mixed Grills, Smoked chicken mandi in the main course and konafa in a sweet dish. Food was good with enough quantity and quality, mixed grills were mouthwatering meat was juicy and tender one other side mandi was accurate in spices and chicken was perfect. However, konafa looks good but mozzarella cheese was so salty and no ricotta cheese staff was too cooperative. Complimentary Cardimon was nice, everything cost us approx £39. Highly recommended

Came here on a work trip and this is the best arab restaurant to my hotel (crowne plaza). I was served by an absolutely wonderful lady called Boshra who was incredibly helpful, she gave me an overview of all the foods I had questions about, I ordered the lamb shashlik. Absolutely gorgeous! Very flavourful and it was perfect for me as I was on my own. It had chips, Arabic bread, salad, meat, came with sauces, what more could you ask for! 100% recommended. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, I would definitely come back here. Will be coming back next to try the lamb kofta! It looks amazing and since the shashlik was 10 out of 10, I know the lamb kofta will be just as good. I wish I could have ordered more but I was stuffed! Look how good it looks! Update: probably my 10th visit or something. But i went on 30/08/23 look at my lamb shish and this came with more bread and sauces! So tasty! Great value too.

Fantastic food and service... second time around can't fault it.. staff where helpful with a smile 😃 on there faces... food had the same flavour to the last time around...fresh drinks... Delicious oriental food. Had mixed grill, lentil soup and tabbouleh salad, very well made and tasty. Staff are really friendly and caring for customers, offered complementary coffee. I would definitely visit again.

Just had a meal here, hummus and the lamb mandi. The meat just melts in the mouth. Beautifully spiced and cooked perfectly. Try this place put, you won't be disappointed.

Good food, great ambience and excellent customer service. Usually orders mandi chicken or mandi shawarma chicken. Tried grilled chicken wings served along with chips. The seasoning in the chips was very good. The mixed fruit cocktail juice is the best. Overall had great food everytime I eat there.

We had a loverly meal here , the lamb chops were cooked to perfection, and the chicken was full of flavour and not dry, plenty of free Lebanese bread enjoy with the meal, apple tea was so refreshing and then they brought some free baklava to finish the meal off 😋

Staff are welcoming. Arab middle eastern decoration which looks nice. We ordered shawarma Arabic. sheesh taooq and margarita pizza, all are delicious and tasty; only the strawberry juice was not great! They treat us with plain tea at the end. Overall I recommend this.

It’s a clean nice restaurant, with good menu. We ordered lamb mixed grill and lamb shish, both were pre-cooked and finished at the time we ordered, which made it dry and it is such a shame since meat would have been juicy and nice , since the flavours and seasoning where good . We were expecting the mandi rice to be great and it was just allright . The Lebanese bread and the dips were nice . The Konafa was cooked in a ton of ghee butter and my stomach was upset all night. In terms of service , our waiter tried his best to help us , but it was not nice to hear the owner agitated asking him why we did not get starters. I will not recommend any of the dishes we had they were not as expected. Please thrown away chipped crockery -plates and saucers- as well as old damaged cutlery.

Had the best cooked chicken I’ve had yet in the UK. It was simply fall of the bone melt in your mouth meat. HIGHLY recommend this place. Service was also on point. Owner was lovely and even offered complimentary tea. I had the Mandi Chicken so definitely give that one a shot. Serving size was big enough for two people comfortably. Will visit again.

Make sure you are hungry when you visit, the portions are huge. The salads are really fresh and the meat was lovely and tender. Beautiful presentation. The young lady waitress was lovely, so friendly. Definitely worth a visit and we will definitely be back

The food was really tasty and came quickly. I had the chicken tajin which was so tender the meat just fell off the bones! My friend had the shawarma grill which was extremely generous portioned.

Finest Lebanese restaurant in Newcastle. Automatic Lebanese taste. Fine environment to bring family and friends. Best place to celebrate with friends and family in an Arabic environment. Sitting environment suitable for large groups. We are thinking to have our office Christmas dinner here this year. We got a good discount as well for our Christmas party.

Enjoyed the amazing Mandi and lamb chops.felafel hearts were outta this world and taboulleh too was spot on. We had the Arabic ice cream for dessert which we thoroughly enjoyed and the kunafa freshly made was to die for!! Our host Boshra made us very comfortable and provided great service and the Chef Fahad ensured his dishes were authentic and perfect!! Definitely make this a regular visit!!

I went with the lamb chops, 5 of them! Cooked to perfection, accompanied with a fantastic cardamom rice, salad and flat breads. Service was great and so friendly. I got lucky finding this place and will definitely return when next in Newcastle. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Great food and great service, very generous with portion sizes, we ordered 3 starters and 3 mains for 3 people, but as the portions were generous we had to pack and take away half of what we had ordered. Great service and even had complementary mint tea as it was quite cold outside. Thank you so much for providing us with a 5 star service and see you again soon.

Coming from London. This restaurant is excellent. Great Syrian Food. Grilled meats were Excellent and fresh, but Shawarma was a little dry. Restaurant was able to accommodate our large party of 14. Very generous portions and they kept the bread coming. Ahmed our server was great. Would visit again if I am ever in New Castle again!!
