Hello, My stay was partly good, partly disappointing. Here are my suggestions for improvement. 1. Make sure internet is available. When we checked in, we were told that the internet is open and we didn't need any password. Well, there was no internet at all during the 2 days we stayed at the hotel. Very disappointing and frustrating. This made it difficult to find places to eat, to communicate with my US based business and various other tasks that tourists have to do when travelling. We were told "a new system was being installed". 2. The refrigerator didn't cool properly at all. 3. The shower head was defective and water splashed every where requiring us to be seated at all times and use the hose and shower head very cautiously. I brought this to the attention of the receptionist on Saturday morning and, to my delight, found that the shower head had been replaced promptly on Saturday during the day. Bravo! 4. The wooden chair at the desk which is where the TV is located is a most uncomfortable chair to sit on. It has a series of wooden slats that have sharp right angles on each slat. Unless you put a pillow on this chair, it hurts to sit on it. 5. I was surprised that there was not a bidet in the bathroom. 6. The hotel should advise the guests that the water from the faucet tastes terrible. The hotel should offer at least one liter of water for free and suggest that guests bring their own bottled water. I drank a little bit of that tap water and it really tasted terrible. Seriously, nasty. Drinking water is a basic necessity. A 4 star hotel should know better and do better than that. On the positive side, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom were good and appreciated. In summary, next time I come to Figueres, I will probably look for a different hotel.

We stayed here for one night as we were passing through. We had booked in advance with our dog but were surprised to find that they charged another 20 euros on top for the dog, having only paid 5 euros at our last hotel. He is a tiny dog and stayed in his carry cage and there wasnt any treats for him which we were expecting. The parking was also expensive and the hotel carpark was full which meant we had to stay in the carpark across the road. The hotel had an arrangement with the private carpark but it was still expensive at 19 euros for the night. We liked our room which was clean and quite large and its style suited the hotel. Breakfast was great and worth the extra money on the bill. We would come here again and stay at this hotel as its location was great for a short walk into the town.

We had a very nice room, the family room was really big! Staff was helpful. It was my mothers birthday and they arranged a nice bottle of Cava with our breakfast. The dog was also welcome and when our bike got stolen, they helped us by calling the parkingspace and pointed the way to the Police station.

Good location, professional staff, room met expectations. No water in the room. Average breakfast: little choice, some cold cuts of low quality, low quality tea available, scrambled eggs were the worst.

Nice hotel, good location (only 10 min. walking to Ramblas), helpful and friendly staff. Large rooms, bathroom needs a bit of a renovation.

Excellent greeting on arrival and all of the receptionists were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, which made for an easy stay. The room we were allocated was spacious, very clean and the bed was enormous and so comfortable. Breakfast buffet was a good selection.

the room looked nice when i came in, but soon i found out it was not that clean; under the desk was a used dirty comb that they give out for free in the bathroom. the bathroom door was a little see through which i did not appreciate. the wallpaper beside my bed was ripped and i found clothes that were not mine. customer service is alright altough they do not speak english well enough for me to understand what they were saying. at breakfast i found a hair on my plate, in my food and even in my tea cup. at this point it's just ridiculous.

Reserved my room on Agoda (for the first and the last time) and asked the hotel for an invoice. The hotel offered me an invoice for the local tax (15€), but the whole hotel amount I should ask Agoda. Agoda told me I have to ask the hotel for an invoice. And this ping pong with the client continued until my departure. Did not get the invoice in the end. And honestly I dont care whose problem it is. I paid for the service and I should get an invoice. But those two parties took me a hostage, and none of them behaved as they should. Never again.

Room in higher floor was big and comfortable with nice view. No good info about parking before arrival so you have to spend some time looking for it because their garage was full.

A beautiful, classy older hotel steps away from Las Ramblas. Staff was friendly, rooms were nicely appointed and clean, and breakfast was solid. I'd definitely stay here again.

Unassuming from the outside...but lovely in the inside with old but quality interiors. Great value. Dali Museum is a must.

Good location but hotel has problems. This hotel has bad water problems. In morning there is no cold water, can not shower because hot water will burn you, had to wait and shower in afternoon with great care of temperature setting. Room does not have stands for suitcases. Breakfast good for extra fee.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We safely parked our car underneath the hotel and within 5 minutes we were able to walk everywhere we wished within the city centre. We both ate breakfast each morning and found the quality of the meal to be excellent ! The room we rented was well equipped for a handicapped person, and all the employees we encountered were courteous, extremely helpful and very accommodating. We highly recommend the hotel and look forward to another stay there in the future.

Bad first: A German family arrived at around midnight and put their kids alone in a room across the corridor while the couple themselves stayed next to our room. The kids were playing for an hour, with walls so thin it sounded like they were playing in our room. The parents didn't really care because they were busy testing the integrity of the beds construction, moaning words I easily could have recited had I understood German. Another person above us seemed to enjoy vacuuming or something, all while the fuse box on the wall kept turning power on and off. After a night's lack of sleep the breakfast staff seemed confused and stressed when we sat down at a different table than they had intended, which made no sense considering there were at least 10-20 tables there, all ready, and only 2 other couples eating breakfast at that time. Good: Parking garage, nice receptionist, clean, nice esthetics.

Unfortunately the bathroom door would not open from the inside and I was trapped in the bathroom for 45 minutes. Reception was helpful and and I was realeased by a gentleman with a hammer and chissel. The lady at reception, called the room afterwards and said "sorry", which I really appreciated. We were told to enjoy the mini bar free of charge. All in all, bit of an adventure, but the staff were polite and did their best to help.

Nice and clean hotel on a good location (close to the Museo Dalí). Large and clean room. The decor was cozy, with posters of Dalí paintings. Friendly personnel and very good breakfast.

Friendly service, very comfortable great decor, in need of a little TLC here and there but acceptable.....Only issue, no grab rail in the Bath/shower and slippery when wet......

It took your people around 30 minutes after I checked in to force the door to open. Then another 30 minutes before they finally generated a set of keys that worked. Not a good way to start a visit to a lovely city like Figueres. Your room was very nice, spacious, and clean. I was very happy with that. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Everything tasted very good. I would still recommend your hotel and even consider staying there again. Just do something about the keys. I suspect I wasn't the only one that couldn't enter his room.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Figueres. I love the antique look of the hotel and the wonderful decorations. My room was clean. I enjoyed the balcony and the view of the mountains. It is in a great location, I was able to walk to all the major tourist spots. The staff was very friendly. I would have given five stars but the breakfast was pricey at 18 euros.

Friendly staff, clean and smart rooms with nice bathrooms, and a good location just 5 mins walk from all the sights. Nice view from the balconies on the upper floors. However we found the rooms a bit hot overnight, and there was a very inconvenient power cut during our stay also.

Modern, clean, efficient check in/out. Add a great location, this hotel had it all.

Just an overnight stay, but a nice hotel with a good varied breakfast included in the price. Jahaira on reception was very pleasant and helpful with the added bonus we heard her chatting fluently with customers in Spanish, French and English. I would have given 5 stars but the parking was extra and not obvious at the time of booking online.

The hotel is luxurious and well-decorated. The room is clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The Salvador Dali Museum was within walking distance.

Very nice hotel. Not on the outside. Big room with a terrace on the 3th floor with sun in the afternoon. Beds are really comfortable, also the pillows. There is a small refrigerator with drinks and a few snacks. The bathroom is comfortable, but I like more a shower separate and not in the bath. The bath however was with bubbles and. jetstream. Realy nice. The breakfast was very good. Good coffee and everything you want. I give 4 stars, because they could be al bit more friendly on the reception and at the breakfast. It just not feel you are very welcome. They are polite. I missed coffee- and tea possibilities on the room. There is no bar in the hotel, on the internet it says it is, but you can not drink anything in the afternoon or evening.

Outside the hotel does not look convincing, but inside!!! What an ambiente! Great service, whirlpool in the room, excellent breakfast, parking opposite the hotel for reasonable price. Very close to Dali museum and excellent restaurants! Love to come back!
