They offer Sangrias in a jug with a good amount of fruit. We only ordered a few tapas and dessert. They have a good amount of seating options available. I would come back here to try the sea food paella, it looked good when they were bringing it out from the kitchen.

This place was so good, we came back twice! Off a lil side street from Ramblas but ever so popular. Book ahead of time as they do get busy. We had the tapas option on both occasions and all the plates were flavoursome with generous portions. My faves were the prawns, calamari, meatballs and patatas alioli. Make sure to leave room for the Catalan crème brûlée, delicious. The jug of sangria also went down very well!

Awesome tiny restaurant in a central location of Barcelona! They have some delicious dishes, friendly staff, and an excellent anti-covid organization. Waiting time wasn’t bad, anywhere from 10-40 minutes seems right. You can sit and have a drink while you wait which was a plus 🍷 I would highlight our seafood platter, which was amazing! Paella was really good too! If you are getting a paella, waiting time is around 30 minutes so I would recommend getting some tapas and wine while you wait. We would def. go back!

After having 2 shared desserts for breakfast, we left to do a bus tour to see more of the town. By 5-ish I really needed to eat. We found Guell and were very pleased. It's got a very cute look that was immediately welcoming. In fact, I stopped to take pictures on the way in. We had the sautéed calamari, home-made meatballs, arugula salad with shaved parmesan, and ham croquettes. A side of bread came first with the requisite EVOO. All was very good, though my wife and I had widely differing opinions on the meatballs. I didn't like them but she did. Service was good. My Spanish is so-so, but I make do. There're many choices of Paella; with rice or pasta, or many choices of meat such as chicken, seafood, etc. We ordered seafood Paella without shell. This menu has to wait approximately 20-25 minutes, but it didn't feel long time because during waiting we had salad and anchovy. After finishing the salad, Paella is ready to serve!
