Friendly staff and fresh home-cooked Spanish food, for a fair price these days. Our seafood paella and roast checken were tasty. Nice atmosphere in a classic family-run restaurant frequented by locals. However, be aware that the staff speak limited English and there is no English menu. There is nothing vegetarian for main courses, although there are 2 or 3 vegetarian starters on the 'daily' menu (hand-written in Catalan).

This was the best seafood paella we've ever had. The rice stuck to the sides of the dish and became a little crunchy! It was perfect. The seafood was very tender and the paella was wonderfully spiced. We really enjoyed the bell pepper in the paella. We also enjoyed the 4 cheese croquettes and the prawn carpaccio. It seems that they only speak Spanish here, but we used Google translate when necessary and they were very helpful with the menu. The vibe inside is very neighborhood bar, but very relaxed which is what we wanted.

Very kind owners that took very well care of us. Very very tasty paella and very nice steak accompanied with a bottle of divine rioja that the owner suggested we had an amazing dining experience! Price-qualiy very good!

What a gem - plain on the outside, a bar just inside and tables at the back, no looking anything super special - but the food IS. The service is great too - they didn't speak a lot of english but google translate got us sorted out, as did a youngster related to the owners who practiced her english while helping us finalise the order - a really nice, friendly, local, atmosphere. Yes, there is a menu with starters and mains (and maybe dessert too, can't recall) for €16.50, which included half a bottle of wine! But we treated ourselves to a shard 500g cut of local steak, which was cooked to perfection and was the tastiest steak cut of meat I've had for years. I thoroughly recommend visiting Braseria D'Alexia!

Good menu; €15 includes half bottle of wine. We asked a glass of wine instead the desert and this was no problem. We surely return as Figueres is our favourite stop; we only missed a good restaurant; FOUND!!!

This is a really authentic family-owned restaurant. The staff are super friendly. They don't speak English but try really hard to communicate and provide good service. I had cheese croquette, seafood paella and panna cotta: they were all awesome! If you want to have authentic local experience, try this restaurant and support local business!

Authentic family run restaurant in the heart of the city. Very lovely and helpful people who care about the food and experience. My wife and I had the house plate of meats for two and got more food than we could stuff in our empty stomachs after a day of travel. The lamb and pork were our favorites, but the chicken and beef were also great! The complimentary garlic and tomato toast was really cool and tasty and we had a Catalan Brule for desert which was probably better than any I've had. You also get a nice salad and more potato fries than we could hope to eat in a sitting. Don't go to a franchise, go here for lunch, dinner, or nightcap.

As we werent sure where to eat our dinner, we found this place on google with good reviews, decided to try out and it did not disappoint us! Ordered menu del dia for 14 euros (dinner) the amount of foods were more than expected and quality was great too for what we were paying :) its not a fancy expensive restaurant but it gave me a warm home meal vibe. Lastly the owner was really caring and attentive, thanks to him we really enjoyed our time there. Recommended and will go back in future 🙂

A family-run restaurant with warmth, hospitality and a great value for money. They have the menu of the day for both lunch/weekday (EUR13) and dinner/holiday (EUR14) as of 2021. We tried soup (which had a poached egg in it!), cannelloni, sausage and entrecôte (extra EUR5). The steak had a nice grill flavor. The three course dinner started with Tostada con tomate (?). (It was a great experience. Each of us got a garlic clove and a whole tomato to rub on the toast. We loved it so much that we returned to the restaurant for breakfast). Although we did not speak Spanish or Catalonian, the restaurant owner was very helpful (she told us not to miss the King’s Parade on Jan. 5th by showing an article).
