My most memorable food experience in Fiji was an early dinner at New Laisa’s Kitchen in Martintar, just down the road from my hotel. A newly established Fijian friend from my hotel had highly recommended visiting this restaurant to enjoy the best of Fijian cuisine because on my first day I was craving to try Kokoda. Whilst I finally visited on my last night in Fiji and had since been treated to wonderful Kokoda at my hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed the Ika Miti with a jug of lemon juice. This dish was recommended as a must try and it was exquisite. Beautifully fresh coconut cream with lemons, chilli and vegetables with boiled fish and cassava served with a fish broth exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing too, so friendly and inviting with complemented the extraordinary food. This is a must visit restaurant if you want to try exceptional Fijian cuisine and hospitality! Highly recommended with distinction!

Amazing Fijian restaurant with stand out dishes. The fish lolo and miti were delicious! I love how they serve a combination of fried + boiled cassava, as well as, chilli and lime with every main dish. The lamb rourou could have more lamb, but it was a flavour bomb nonetheless👌🏽 If you’re in Fiji, definitely come here to try the food. You won’t regret it! ✨

Had the most incredible, authentic Fijian lunch here today. What’s on the menu is seasonal and so, so fresh. A feast for the senses! The waiter explained all of the dishes to us and we had such a wonderful chat while we ate. Highly recommend!

Don’t miss it if you are in Nadi! Very cozy place, friendly and helpful stuff and amazing food. I am celiac (gluten free needed) and vegan but they amazingly help me out to find nice options of their typical dishes, just ask and they will do their best to have a nice meal.

We visited this place second times during Fiji. The best Fijian restaurant in Nadi. Owner & guests are super nice. Highly recommend their Kokoda and Ika Valolo (fish). The green dish is Roukou with Lamb.

If you're looking for Authentic Local Fijian dishes! This is definitely the place you should be dining at! Their food is absolutely fresh! Food so good makes you want to have seconds and pack a take away back home too! Their service is excellent with the friendliness to it. Makes you feel like you're welcomed into their home with such warm greetings. I definitely recommend poepel to try their food out! It's just amazing. It's my favorite place for Sunday cusine when craving locally cooked meals! Great stuff!

One of the best local food restaurants we ate at.  Regreted only trying this on our last night. The food was fresh and so so tasty and the staff were extremely friendly.  Don't let the humble outside mislead you, this place is fantastic. We opted for the stuffed kai (mussels) and fried fish, both delicious.

We had to come back twice to this place as the first time they were so super busy they alerted us that it’ll be a while to wait for the food so we came back the next day! I’m so glad we made the 20 minute trek from hotel to try it! Friendly warm service. Cultural Fijian cuisine. Loved all the dishes we ordered & really wished we had more time (or more stomach room) to come back to try the other stuff. Rourou lamb was amazing in flavour, lamb succulent & wasn’t swimming in fat. Fried cassava was the best we had of the 3 times we had it in Fiji. And the Fish in coconut broth was creamy & Devine. Highly recommended

This place is easy to miss as we couldn't spot a sign board anywhere, its near Grace's kitchen. The staff are friendly and helpful. The fish is fresh and the flavors are amazing. The menu is limited but the dishes are tasty. We had the fried and grilled fish and a jug of lime juice. We surely recommend this place as the food is just amazing.

Dinner and lunch at "New Laisa's Kitchen" in Martintar, Nadi with family. Well prepared seafood (Boiled, Fried fish and Ota & tuna) and lemon juice. Good service from Steve and good atmosphere. Good to support a local business.

The most incredible food we had in all of Fiji, cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for authentic, fresh local food. The seafood platter was so interesting to try and the Kai was to die for! Don’t miss the chance to try!

A tiny little place that serves traditional Fijian food in Nadi. Reasonably priced and not at all touristy. I found this place by chance while I was looking for Fijian food in Nadi, the server there- Ben was extremely kind and served me half a plate of Stuffed Kai, because I wanted to try it out without getting a whole entree sized dish. I got the Kokoda and stuffed Kai, it came with fried cassava with a side of lemon and chili. Kokoda - it’s similar to Mexican/Peruvian ceviche. Lightly cured fish with coconut milk Stuffed Kai - Mussels

It was a real Fijian place with Fijian food. We ordered fish in coconut milk with spinach, aubergine in coconut cream with się veges and great yuka fries (the best! not do greasy without sauce). The food was quite tasty, portions were hudge especially fish as a main course. Service was great, very polite. Big disadvantage for restroom. It was in a deplorable condition. Place worth visiting if You want to taste sth Fijian.

Local food! We tried the Sui to Moca (beef soup with spinach) - excellent taste and huge portions! Stuffed Kai (stuffed mussels) coconut based sauce, tasty! Fish with cooked Lolo (fried fish cooked with coconut milk) with grilled eggplant. The prices are very affordable and the service is excellent and very friendly. The fried and boiled cassava is a great pair for everything and they serve it hot!

A local guide on a sailing trip recommended we stop here for dinner. This is a great place to come to try local Fijian food at a great price. The food is very flavorful and the service was solid. The waitress walked us though the menu items so we knew what each meal was before ordering. I highly recommend stopping by.

We had the lemonade, kokoda, and assorted seashells. Everything tasted great and we were glad that we stopped here for authentic Fijian cuisine before our flight out of Fiji.

This restaurant got recommended by the skipper of a boat we took to an island. If you want great Fijian food, this is the place! On the day we went, Laisa and her husband was working in the restaurant. They are lovely and offered great service. The food is great and in big portions! Do try the kokoda, seafood salad and mahi mahi. Will definitely visit next time we are in Fiji.

Must do when in Nadi!!! The menu isnt huge, but the quality and flavours are true local and very good. The seafood platter is a must. It's easy to miss it though, I drive past a couple times before finding it. It's close to Grace's kitchen.
