This is the best spot of Fiji, it’s amazing how good they created this place in the forest. This is not a typical resort where you can eat all day. The people are there for you, they help with everything and you can talk so easy with them. They have their own taxi drivers and do have a complimentary taxi to the airport if needed. And when you talk to them they will offer to invite your house. Unfortunate we couldn’t die are tight schedule. Thank you again for your kindness, we have enjoyed!

Thinking this might be my only opportunity to visit Fiji, I wanted it to be perfect in every way. I spent days - weeks - scouring the website of every hotel and resort, looking for the best in quality, affordability, tranquility, and exclusiveness. My time was well spent, as I found it all at the Fiji Orchid. Due to Covid, I haven’t seen my mother in 3 years. We decided to reunite in Fiji. It was a perfect choice for a mother/daughter combo, but I also wish I had taken my honeymoon here. The resort is small and intimate - private and romantic - everything we wanted. Our time was limited, so I was delighted that this resort was just 20 minutes from the airport. Our driver was waiting for us, and we were at the pool within half an hour. The grounds were meticulously cared for, and our room was spotless. Whether sitting poolside being served drinks, eating fresh fruit and vegetables out of the garden, or lounging in the old-world bar area, guests are constantly pampered by every employee. From the minute the staff greets you with a drink in hand to the moment they hug you goodbye, you’ll enjoy every minute of this tropical oasis. Here are a few examples of the service we received… We stopped to admire a beautiful coconut tree on the property. Tevita, one of the groundskeepers, noticed and asked us what we were looking at. We told him and went on our way. Later that afternoon, he showed up at our bure with 3 coconuts picked from the tree. He demonstrated how to open them, created a small spout, and poured the fresh juice into our cups. It was amazing! Our waiters were so attentive, kind, and gracious that we gave up visiting other restaurants, preferring to stay on the beautiful grounds with the excellent service. They memorized our preferences and soon had the perfect latte waiting for us each morning. The meals were reasonably priced, bursting with flavor, and featured authentic local cuisine. Any accommodation was welcomed. I’m glad I didn’t book an expensive tour to the Saweni Mud Bath with an outside company. Kesho, the full-time driver of the Orchid, took us in his beautiful vehicle, personally introduced us to the host there, and waited for us. He then took us to the market in Nadi and bought us our first drink of fresh Kava. He walked us to a local restaurant so we could try some authentic Fiji cuisine and finally escorted us to some great shopping places. We felt like princesses. Finally, we booked our mandatory Covid test at First Landing Resort nearby. We thought we might have dinner there after our test. We pre-paid and confirmed the booking, and the driver from the Orchid graciously drove us there. When we arrived, we discovered that First Landing had forgotten about our appointment and sent the nurse home. They told us to come back another day. We asked for a taxi, and they sent us home (for a $15 fee) in the employee transfer van (with broken windows and no seat belts). Not a pleasant experience. The next day, when the lovely owner of the Fiji Orchid heard this story, she pulled her car up and personally drove us to the hotel. She walked us to the nurse’s station, waited for us while we took our Covid tests, and then drove us back to the Orchid. Can you imagine that happening anywhere else? The owner is accessible and accommodating; if anything is less than perfect, she will tend to it immediately. In closing, this place is not for everyone. There is no TV, and Wi-Fi is only in your room. If that’s what you want on vacation, go somewhere else. If you are afraid of nature (frogs or butterflies), again, not for you. It’s not a place to party or have a wild time - it’s a place to rejuvenate, connect with nature, and experience the kindness and graciousness of the culture.

A nice place to stay for a couple of days before or after your flight It's conveniently located close to a few places of interest and an airport. We stayed here for a few days before our departure back home. We didn't need a beach, so lying near a pool was practically took most of our days. The rooms (bures) are amazing. They feel fresh and cozy. There was something with our hot water (it wasn't turned on as we were told later haha), so we used just cold water for the first day and didn't complain since even cold water was pretty warm. The prices in a restaurant are on a higher end comparing to the other places we stayed. Food was good though. There is nowhere to go by foot, need to call a cab or drive your own car (there is ample space in front the hotel right after the front gates)

From the moment we stepped foot onto this property, we were made to feel as if we were the most important guests they’d ever hosted! The property is absolutely beautiful and tucked away in a wonderful location that made our numerous day trips so easy and convenient. I can not brag enough on the staff and the owners of this lovely facility. They have set the bar extremely high and now we know what real customer care feels like - we are ruined!!!! Thank you Ginnie, Peter and Gordon - you guys are very special to us and we will never forget our stay with you. How I miss Fiji-Time!!!!

They need to do better with the drive through time.. otherwise they are okay and I feel they need more staff during peak hours.

The Fiji Orchid Hidden Gem in Lautoka, peaceful, quiet and just relaxing. I stayed 2 nights here, and I really enjoyed my stay here. The only down part is the way to get there, needs improvement on the roads. When we arrived my tyre was flat due to all the potholes there. Will advise to fix the roads to this hidden Gem.

Fantastic hotel. Amazing service in a very intimate seeing. Clean, well maintained rooms. Top notch. I'd recommend a rental car if you're looking to leave the resort for sightseeing and tours.

One of the most special parts of our trip. Breathtaking Fijian accommodations. Super private and quiet. Wonderful staff. Excellent food. And even friendly cats and dogs to follow you around. We thought the price was unbelievable for what you get!

An extremely inefficient drive through system. Has 2 boths but appears to be able to operate one at any given time. Slow and frustrating.

This accomodation looks great and that where it’s stops. The front desk did not mention to us tours available and left us waiting while we were checking out. Also there is a main road that runs right next to our tent and I gave the pool a miss on a sunny day.

The Fiji Orchid is a very small hotel. I believe it consists of six villas, so most likely catering for a maximum of 12 guests. Our room looked nice, but was very tired, poorly maintained. More like pieces of three different size puzzles glued and tied together with a string. The best days of this establishment are long gone. Poor electrical patch-work. Similar with the bathroom where pieces of plumbing are falling off. The bed was comfortable, but it rained during the night and we could hear branches or large leaves falling on the roof all night. The tent over the villa is like a drum, so the strange sounds from falling debris were amplified and fairly loud. Maybe you could get used to it, if staying longer than one night. The staff was friendly. Transfers from the airport and to the marina were flawless. The swimming pool water was cloudy, suggesting it was not cleaned properly, and most likely unsafe to swim. The restaurant pleasantly located, but disappointed with the menu options. There was no seafood available for dinner, so don't be fooled by photos online. Probably, because of the small number of guests, even though the hotel was full that night. We opted to take a $25 taxi and a 10 minutes' drive to The First Landing, a bigger resort and decent restaurant, where we had a nice large lobster. Overall, The Fiji Orchid location and settings are beautiful. Gardens, jungle, birdlife. It is however disappointing ⭐⭐⭐ hotel with a 💲💲💲💲💲 price tag.

Beautiful property. Our room was so quite and peaceful, I had one of the best nights of sleep of the decade there. The staff is lovely, friendly and accomodating, and the owner Jenny is such a lovely hostess. My stomach was feeling funky from the travelling and everyone was so attentive and caring, kept bringing me tea and biscuits and checking in to ensure everything was ok. Restaurant is super nice, very fresh food, homemade bread and authentic spices. We spent hours and hours by the pool, hearing nothing but birds singing and sounds of the water fountain. I definitely recommend this place, specially if you want to escape the busy touristy areas in Fiji.

We had a great time staying here. The villas are very private and spacious. Included breakfast was a nice way to start the day. All the staff were very kind and welcoming. I proposed to my girlfriend and they surprised her with an elaborate floral message on our bed. They went above and beyond our expectations! It’s located in a less touristy area of Fiji and very different to Port Denarau.

This little hidden gem is an absolute must on your travels to Fiji. Close enough to Nadi and the airport, it feels like a world apart from the rest of the hotels on offer nearby. I know this, because I missed my ferry to the Yasawas and spent a whole day and night on Denarau island. Do not bother with these if you want to experience the real Fiji. Fiji Orchid is set in beautiful gardens where the singsong of the birds awakes you every morning, flowers and plants surround the Bure in such a way that you think you’re there by yourself. The staff add to this feeling by treating you as if you’re the only visitor and it all just feels enormously pleasant. I chose this place as my oasis to adjust on arrival to Fiji and again to prepare for my onwards travels at the end of my time here and I highly recommend it. Food is gorgeous, the pool is a delight, everything is clean and the bures are very spacious. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate any requests (and I had some unusual ones!) they’re happy to help as best as they can. Vinaka Vakalevu Team Fiji Orchid!

My husband and I would like to thank the staff at the fiji orchid! They were all fantastic and so much fun! Our accommodation was better then we could have imagined, being our first trip to fiji. The perfect location if you don't want a lot of noise or a big busy resort, we enjoyed the community around us at the orchid Fiji's natural surroundings. Highly highly recommend! Regards Jarrod and Nick.

Before embarking on a long trip to Australia, I knew I would need someplace to decompress; to allow me to relax after months of stressful work. I decided to skip the busy resorts in Fiji (too many people) and searched for a smaller property. The Fiji Orchid fit my needs and I booked. What a fantastic choice I made! The grounds are lush, beautiful and well kept. The individual bungalow I booked is massive, clean and extremely comfortable. It was like a dream The staff are kind and attentive. Always with a smile and a warm greeting. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend some time with the owners; we struck up a nice friendship and I was able to learn so much about them, their business and the island. I intend to stay in contact with these lovely people I also intend to explore the South Pacific and I now have a base from which to do so. I will definitely be re-visiting The Fiji Orchid, before and/or after, any adventures I have in Oceania.

Stayed here with my wife earlier this year. It is the true definition of a hidden gem. The staff can’t do enough to help you and the owners Jenny and Peter are the most gracious of hosts. You really are made to feel like family when staying at the Fiji Orchid. Will 100% stay there again when next in Fiji.

Surreal experience being here. I hear the term Oasis being thrown around a lot, but it's not been quite as relevant as it is here at the Fiji Orchid. Truly unique and very tastefully done.

Won't return to their monthly Sunday lunch. Quite pricey as they always run out fish and their desert (only one no choice) pretty bad. Went 3 times always same, quite disappointing.

Lovely place to stay a few nights. A bit far from Nadi but they offer shuttle option. The bure we stayed was amazing and the quietness of the area was so relaxing.

Great personal burr experience. We were in Hilton Denarau for 2 nights and wanted to stay in Burr for different experience. Fiji Orchid is the place. Bit far from city, but worth going there. Deepika- property manager was very welcoming and having all information you need. Suggestions for food place, attractions and shopping places. Much better and personalized experience (they have just 6 Burrs) compare to staying at resorts with hundreds of other guests

We stayed here on two separate times recently. The first was to get rid of jet lag from and east coast US to Fiji in one long push. It was perfect. Incredibly private and beautiful. Our bure was surrounded by tropical vegetation and much was in bloom. The Bure itself was impeccably clean, well designed and felt like a south pacific dream. The bed and bedding were top drawer and comfortable after a long day+ of travel. And the bathroom made us both want to redo our own at home to copy Fiji Orchid. The shower felt like an outside shower. The trees and vines visible through a floor to ceiling window provided the sensation and privacy that we had our own oasis. The ambiance made our jet lag dissipate quickly. The grounds include a lovely pool and a beautiful dining area looking out over a lush garden. Even when it was raining the garden and the meal sparkled. The food was perfect. Chef provided choices for each meal and the staff was so considerate of modification requests. Unfortunately medical necessity caused us to return earlier than expected. We were welcomed back at Fiji Orchid with open arms. The general feeling of being cared for was omnipresent. Again attention to our needs was so forthcoming by the staff that we were incredibly touched and humbled. First forgive me for not remembering all the names. Your smiles will remain with us always. Kesho the driver, the guide, the advocate helped us immeasurably to navigate the market, the streets, the kava, the pineapples and so importantly the healthcare system. Deepika was the manager who smoothed bureaucratic issues as if they were nothing: a kind problem solver. She took personal interest in our multitude of needs. Suffice it to say my husband and I would return tomorrow if we could. Fiji Orchid is a true rare gem populated by angels. And we were the lucky recipients of their kindnesses. Because of the employees we never felt as if we were strangers. Always a smile. Always and enthusiastic 'Bula!' Always an offer to help or guide.

I stayed here May 25th - 28th 2022. Honestly wish I had booked a few more nights. Staff was great and helped coordinate my activities. Definitely a unique hotel experience. The glass bathroom wall looking into the greenery outside is a showstopper. The food at the restaurant is delicious especially the crab. Jason was a really nice server. John was nice as well (I think he is a grounds keeper) Only small cons that I can think of is the frogs or toads come out at night. I used the flightlight on my phone to light the way. Also, I could hear every car driving by from my bure.

Loved our time there. Staff are wonderful, food was amazing, between the fantastic gardens & there only being 6 bures means that it is very private.

This place is located in a property which is full of trees and appears as a jungle. People should be courageous to stay in the jungle. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We got very tasty Indian food here as per our request. Very helpful 🤠 attitude. Good property.

This was by far our favorite spot during our time in Fiji. The grounds were beautiful, more like a jungle than your typical beachfront stay. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. There were a couple cats and dogs who lived in the area; one cat likes to follow you as you walk back to your room, which we thought was cute! The nicest part was the wonderful staff who were incredibly attentive and knew us by name. We also greatly enjoyed the food and cocktails! Would come again!

We stayed here two separate times and would return any time. The bure was perfect; comfortable and private. Because the window in the shower was floor to ceiling I felt as if I were showering outside in the jungle. The foliage everywhere was gorgeous and created a sense of privacy. All the people we met there were incredible and helped us immeasurably with a difficult medical situation. We were cared for and the recipients of abundant kindnesses. The food was top notch and service impeccable. The perfect spot to get rid of jet lag. A great place to move about the Nadi area. Positively memorable.

Its always filled up. Who doesn't love Burger King. They surpass McD's in burgers and taste. The only improvement required is the delivery and the number of cashiers. Remember it is a Fast Food restaurant therefore you need to have some standard time of getting food out to the customer.

Good place for a quick meal especially after some shopping. I think the food is alright with normal customer service - have had heard from others its abit slow. Well...may be I wasn't in a hurry hence didn't feel the clicking ticking.. Perhaps...the food needs to be improved - average taste and smaller portion. I had a upsized meal but felt it was just an average meal.
