Don’t expect a white sand beach , it is the opposite , it has regular sand and the water is not clean to swim in my opinion. There are many fishermen getting the fish on there from their boats, there is also trash sadly. You can find lots of glass as there is no trash can. There are restaurants and hotels which makes it a nice place to sit and watch the beautiful sunsets.

ALMOST GOT ROBBED. Be careful and make sure to park in the main carpark with lots of cars if driving - we parked a couple minutes after the car park and almost got robbed by a guy (which was actually with his family swimming). He started off friendly and claimed to be the chief of the next town but later came over and asked for $20 for beer money. A group of guys in their 20s were parked next to us and we weren’t sure if they knew him or not so we gave him a couple of dollars to end the situation and make him less aggressive (we were afraid to walk away and leave the car alone there). We told him we have no more but he still kept asking for more. As soon as we gave him the coins the group of guys drove away (not sure if they were in on it or saw what was happening and didn’t want to be involved)

One of those places that will get you catching your breath come sun up and sun down. A place most Fijian go to spend those unforgettable moments with families on picnics, drinks and just to have fun

Let me tell you about a not-so-quiet paradise called Wailoaloa Beach. If you walk it, you'll run into bars and fire breathers and kids riding horses and people selling fresh coconuts and sunsets that put colors in your life you didn't know existed. If you're going to get some sand between your toes in Fiji, do it here.

Like Kuta beach in the Bali island, vulcans sands, not deeply coast, 50 cm on the 150 meters. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ On the beach few bars and cafes. Near airport, and there noisy.

Terrible... It has the potential of beauty but needs help cleaning. Right now it looks like getting hit by a category three cyclone.

We stayed at Ramada Suites in Wailoaloa beach. We don't want to get into the water because it looked muddy. If you walk along the beach, you can see the drainage water flow into the ocean. In low tide, no water flow and you can smell the sewer like smell. The view is beautiful, just the water is concerning. I did see a few people swimming in the ocean in the morning though.

Clean, no trash anywhere, no dog fecal matter, no dirt bikes blowing smoke sand on your face, great seating areas, accessible toilets, this beach has it all. NOW CLOSE YOUR EYES AND IMAGINE ALL THAT BECAUSE THIS BEACH IS THE TOTAL OPPOSITE. YUK!

The beach is not bad. I'm not sure what people are complaining about. Yeah there was a little trash, but not much. The restaurants along the water are a nice place to chill, party, and watch a fire dance show (saw one at Ghost Ship Bar & Grill @ Smuggler's Cove).

Nice beach for locals. The water isn’t that clear but the locals seem to enjoy it. The beach has lots of trash cans available. It’s a nice place to drive in and enjoy the ocean breeze. I did see some kids breaking glass bottles on the rocks so please be careful while walking on the beach.

I like wailoaloa little bit the reason why I like it little bit because it has glass and trash plus there are trash but people do not put it. The only beach I like is natadola cause there are no trash there and no glass plus they put the rubbish in the bin that is the reason why I like natadola I like it Thank-you for reading bye have a good day πŸ˜€πŸ™‚πŸ˜

Below average beach the rocky pier-ish structure up the middle is actually covers the sewer wastewater discharge outlet for Nadi from a nearby plant. Wouldn't recommend swimming anywhere near there πŸ˜‚

Really beautiful picnic spot but the experience is marred by overflowing rubbish, stagnant puddles and stray dogs
