Got to drive on unpaved roads to get to it, but worth it! Not many people around.

It's in isolation and fairly good for group picnic. Always has people who are either enjoying the sea or beaching. Nice and quiet on Sundays. Beach is to reckon with if not too choosy and conscious of litter and broken bottles. Has good view.

We had a beautiful swim at Saweni Beach and enjoyed being almost the only people there. It's true there is some rubbish, but not so much that it made the beach unattractive to use. There are also pieces of glass on the beach as others have mentioned, but if you wear shoes or just look where you're going then it's not a problem. We walked about 150m down the beach from the vehicle access point to sit in the shade of the big trees and there was barely any glass down there. The golden sands are beautiful and we saw fish leaping out of the water. The sea floor is soft and feels kind of muddy except for the odd plant or tree root. I'm guessing mangroves used to grow there like at either end of the beach. Overall, Saweni Beach could do with a bit of cleaning up but it is a great spot for peace and privacy. Bring your own food and drinks, and note there are no changing facilities.

Really disappointing. Has loads of potential but garbage everywhere and there were some drunk locals in a car playing very loud music. Some were passed out in the car others puking and the rest just really loud.

Go off the main road to get to this beach. White sand. No security, no caretakers. There is a lot of litter. Usually used by locals for drinking parties.

It's such a beautiful place. Just sad people dumped rubbish there and it doesn't make the beach look nice. Found some plastic in the water swimming there. Beautiful place to swim chill and relax. Be careful of red ants they bite when there are food around. I also which there were more proper shade.

It's good for family fun. The waters warm, always. But there are lots of coral during low tide and the waters quite dirty despite the beach having beautiful white sand.
