Tucked away in Hideaway Resort is a gem in Fiji. A local diveshop that can't be boasted on enough. Through the 10 or so dives I did with them, I received nothing short of top-notch service. Extremely knowledgeable staff throughout their operation. They dive some of the most beautiful reefs the planet has to offer! Their hire kits are brand new, and immaculately maintained. I had unforgettable experiences with this lot, and will definitely be back. Very highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing team! Went for open water course with them. Booking and communications was seamless. Apo (our instructor) went all the way out to ensure I'm feeling comfortable and safe. Without him i wouldn't be able to finish the pool session to enter the real diving world in the sea! The rest of the crew was amazing in everything. Last but not least, clear safety instructions, awesome diversites and quality equipment. Highly recommended!

With the kids now old enough to join my under the water, Nathan gave them their introduction in the pool before heading out to sea. My 12yr old daughter was nervous & Nathan stayed with her the whole time ensuring she felt comfortable & confident and had a great experience, while Mr ‘No Fear 14’ & I trailed along behind loving every minute. A big shout out, VINAKA VAKALEVU to Ash and his team for getting us through our open water certifications! My partner and I were very impressed with the service and speedy replies. Ash is highly experienced, patient and put safety first. One thing I would suggest is that the confined pool session be sectioned off from the other users as one guest came down the waterslide and landed on my partner while we were underwater. Other than that, the experience was great 👍!

Wow, amazing diving and staff! We had a pod of dolphins swim passed us as we made our descent. Turtles, reef sharks, schools of midnight snapper and large barracuda all with beautiful coral walls. I will definitely be back. Special thanks to Mojee for being an awesome dive leader with a great sense of humour!

We had a great experience on two dives with Diveaway. Pickup from the hotel was appreciated and the dive masters were all very helpful. There were a lot of people diving when we dove so it was a bit of a zoo, and everything operated on Fiji Time so we were 90 minutes longer on the excursion than we’d expected, but the dives were beautiful and it was awesome to dive with turtles and so many sharks. If you go with Diveaway have them take you to Fanny’s Hill, lots of sharks at the cleaning station. A special shout-out to our guide Su, he was a great host and was super patient with my father-in-law, who hadn’t dove in 10+ years.

Excellent experience. Enjoyed two dives with Su and Steve with Diveaway. Trip was great; they treat very well, setting up and handling all your gear for you. It was our second time visiting Diveaway. Took my young son for his first ever dive. Nathan his guide was amazing. Through the training and the dive he looked after him wonderfully. The diving was also fantastic! We will be back.

We enjoyed three fantastic dives with this crew over one day during our stay in Fiji. Moije (our dive guide) and Pate (our captain) were excellent and showed us some fantastic coral reefs and swim throughs to explore (the Edge and Bigfoot being the highlights). Gear rental was high quality and impressively included in the price. We paid $575 (Fiji dollars) for 3 dives including all gear rental and transfers which was excellent value and much enjoyed.

Our family a group of 11 had a great trip to Beqa lagoon for both snorkelling and diving with Diveaway Fiji. This was arguably the highlight of our trip and I can’t say enough good things about the entire Diveaway crew. The beach on Yanuca is absolutely stunning and the diving was next level. The following day was a local 2 tank dive with Su who was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to dive with. Vinaka Diveaway Fiji!

My daughter and I were impressed by this shop. We did 2 tank local reef dive trip yesterdays. The transfer was on time and friendly. The crew was fun and helpful. The Dive Master, Seb, was very helpful and took good care of our group. The caption was also great! After we returned to the shop, another diver on our trip realized she left her sunglasses on the boat and they went all the way back to the boat to retrieve them for her! While we were there, they noticed my sunblock as well. They really want the extra mile! Unfortunately, they had to cancel our dive for the next day to Bega Lagoon because there was not enough interest, but Ash went out of his way to call other shops to see if we could join them. All of the equipment was in good shape and they stored our extra belongings while we were out. I would definitely recommend this shop! Thank you!!

Great small dive shop with nice equipment and a very helpful staff. Ash communicated well with me over time and distance and helped ensure my dive happened on the only day I was able to go. Dive Masters Sunia and Sib were awesome.... attentive, cautious and were able to find all the attractions on the reef. Very safety-oriented while maintaining that small shop intimacy.

I went to Diveaway as it was recommended by a friend who is an avid diver. Ash was fabulous to schedule with and my guide Nathan was amazing and super knowledgeable. I had only been diving twice before coming to Diveaway and I felt safe on top of seeing some of the greatest sights ever. I highly recommend both Diveaway and Nathan.

I had a great time at diveaway! A great beginners dive. They start in the pool with all the basics you’ll need to know. The dive we did was a drop off with beautiful endless coral reefs, fish and we even saw a couple sea turtles :-) an overall wonderful experience

Had an excellent experience on a dive with Nathan and Su. The foremost concern of the guys at Diveaway is safety and there was no compromise. To be allowed to dive we were subjected to a pool test to develop contingency plans for situations like water in the mask to ensure that we had fun in the water. The dive was amazing and we saw a reef shark and two sea turtles. Thank you very much to the boys at Diveaway for an amazing experience!!

Just had two dives with Captain Steve and Sue who were brilliant hosts. Sue was a great guide on our coral dive, and I'd recommend them both to potential divers looking for a spectacular dive. I've already booked another dive they're that good!

Made 4 dives over 2 days, and they were incredible. Beqa Lagoon trip was a short trip to the nearby island and had incredible coral structures, and a shipwreck, with a wide variety of reef fish hanging out on all of it. The next day the local dives on the reef just a couple minutes away was also fantastic. Ran into a whole squad of sharks, which was very cool, a school of barracuda, a couple eagle rays and the coral and structure was extremely beautiful. Mojee was a fantastic guide, and the whole team on the boat was smooth and professional. All told, I think there's just no beating some south pacific SCUBA for vibrancy and life to see underwater, and Diveaway Fiji made it easy and fun. I highly recommend.

Great communication from Ash before diving, very responsive and made sure I had all the information. Divemaster Su was awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Dive sites were beautiful and very close to shore! Saw turtles, black, silver and white tipped reef sharks and plenty of fish and coral. The team even organized cupcakes on our arrival back at the dive shop for my birthday. Thank you for making our trip so special Su and Ash!

Finished my Open Water license here today and had a great experience. All of the staff here are extremely friendly and approachable and the dives that we did were eye opening. Our dive master Apo, was extremely relaxed with us and answered any of our questions; good ones or not. And made the trip an even better experience. I have never dived before this and found that this course has had me driven to continue diving in the future. I would recommend this place to anyone. -Hamish, 14, Melbourne

Fantastic diving, excellent staff, exceptional service. Discovered this diving centre on my last possible diving day in Fiji, and I am sad to have not used them before. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make the diving as enjoyable as possible. All the staff are a credit to Ash. Thank you team. Loved my days diving.

Dive Away Fiji is the best!!! Especially if you are nervous about scuba diving like me! I wanted to dive, but was actually terrified of doing it because I had a bad first experience in Australia a few years ago where I panicked in the first 3 minutes of my first dive. I wasn't sure Id even manage to do it again but Apo from Dive Away got me restarted in a 30 minute pool training at my hotel. This gave me the courage to try a real five dive again, but I was super nervous. I told Ash, the owner, about my past failure/panic attack in Australia and he was just wonderful. Ash took me and my partner (who is annoying calm about being 20 meters below the surface even though he doesn't have gills) on a small reef dive for 40 minutes. With the calm of a consummate pro who has done over 5000 dives, Ash got me through my feelings of panic when they returned moments before descending. He took me down slowly, at my pace, never rushing me, always making sure I was ok and feeling calm and in control. Ash literally held my hand the entire way, checked my oxygen, taught me to breathe better, reminded me to equalise, and made me feel wonderfully and completely safe. Thanks to him, I got to swim along the reef with amazing tropical fish, reef sharks and sea turtles. Thank you Ash, Apo and Dive Fiji!! I could not recommend you more highly. You guys looked after me with so much care. I never could have beaten my fear of being down there without you.

We had a great dive with dive away Fiji. We did a two take dive with the first one being Fanni hill and the second being the edge. Communication with the dive shop was excellent. Gear was in great shape and obviously well-maintained. Dive master was attentive and helpful. We are not the most experienced divers with only 25 dives under our belt. We were very comfortable with the whole operation. A plus is that all equipment plus hotel transfer was included in the price. There were no surprises added on. I highly recommend dive away Fiji.

I recently did a beginner dive with Moije at dive away Fiji, it was an incredible experience and would definitely do again. We swam around the reef and looked at all of the amazing coral on the reef. I also got to swim alongside the sea turtles which was great. This was my first dive and being 15 it was great to have someone to help me out. Moije was incredible and really helped me out he showed me cool things in the area like the ghost coral which changes colour. Thanks again to the dive away team it was incredible and you have got me into diving for the future. Thanks so much again.
