A group of us took this cruise yesterday It was a long trip to the Island but once there it was so worth the trip. The Staff were all friendly and accommodating. We were the only cruise boat on the island which was so good, the island wasn't full of tourist. Plenty to do on the island, snorkelling, volleyball, plenty of food and drinks. We met a lot of people on the cruise, made new friends from around the world the only down fall was we only spent 4 hours on the island. Not long enough time. Maybe cruise should start at 8;30am sharp OR the cruise go directly to island. I will be recommending this cruise to family and friends. I hope to do the cruise again.

My wife and I recently took the Whales Tale Tour. Had a good fun day, trip their and back was super chill, crew singing and playing guitar made for a great atmosphere. Plenty to eat (morning and afternoon tea plus lunch). Food was good. Snorkeling was great fun, as was beach volleyball. The Captain even let us jump off the top deck when anchored in deep water. Crew were all in good spirits, and made for a fun day. Only thing to note, the marketing is a little misleading, there are not 4 island visits (or even drive bys so to speak), it is a single island day visit. Nevertheless, would recommend.

This day trip boat cruise was such a blissful experience for myself and my whole family. Friendly and caring staff. Refreshments and drinks on board was nice. Varitey of options for lunch and served on the island. That was amazing! Food was very well prepared. Relaxing stay on the island called Schooner. Whale's Tale boat cruise was itself so nice and relaxing with talented singing staff on board was a bonus!

Just went on this cruise yesterday and was an experience to remember. We were picked up from our hotel and boarded onto the ship shortly after arriving. On the way we were treated to breakfast, live music and as much to drink as we liked. It was about an hour and a half cruise. Very relaxing and was nice to get to know the other tourists on the ship. Once we arrived it looked like paradise. The most bright blue waters in what feels like it cant be real. We were invited to snorkel which was amazing. Saw plenty of coloured fish and corals. We then were treated to lunch and later invited to play volleyball, kayak or more snorkeling. We chose to snorkel and was an experience to remember. I only wish we could stay forever. When we got back to the boat we were invited to jump off the top deck into deep waters. We then were treated to more drinks, afternoon tea and some more performances on the way back. Would definitely recommend this cruise as it was one of the best experiences i have had. We were also lucky enough to get an extremely clear and warm day for our trip which made it as good as it could be

Had a awesome experience with a great crew from Whale Tale. Super friendly and easy going, the ride out was nice and pleasant. The stop at the island was great. A beautiful little stunning. The food was adequate and the alcohol was free slowing. I do believe you can obtain this cruise a touch cheaper than my hotel arranged package. Fully recommended.

Excellent and highly recommended!! We were incredibly impressed with value for money! You will not be hungry and you definitely won’t be thirsty. All crew members made the day memorable, they are highly hospitable, accommodating and ensured everyone was smiling. Schooner island itself was the perfect location - secluded, serene and pristine ! What makes it even better, only tourist on the island is from your own boat!

Great day out on the water on a schooner... easy to book. I actually booked at the marina the day before our outing. great snorkelling food and staff. Also will acknowledge birthdays, honeymoons and anniversaries with cake and songs. Even busting out the guitar on the way back..... 👍🏼👏👌

Our travel agency recommended the Whales tale day sail cruise and it was well worth it! We were well looked after throughout the entire day which included transfers to the port. All the staff were extremely friendly and great with our three year old son. The breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea were all more than filling and delicious, accompanied by a great selection of drinks and local beers. It was our first time to be on a schooner and we loved every minute of it. When we arrived on the island we were met with plenty of activities. My wife tried out the powered snorkeling and Victor her instructor took great videos and photos. I had a massage on the island and our son enjoyed feeding fish on the glass bottom boat. The sail trip back was lovely as the crew pulled out the guitars and sang for us. We highly recommend this day out for anyone who wants a relaxing day on the ocean and beach.

Such a fun day! Boarding the schooner and being serenaded by the crew was the perfect start to the voyage. Food and drinks while you set sail for Savala island where you are met with white sand and some great snorkeling. The varieties of fish and the coral reef of the island you could spend days or there and still not see everything. Lunch is provided and is excellent. Mike and the crew do everything they can to make sure you have an enjoyable time.

Wonderful day on waters off Fiji. Cptn Mike and Crew were lovely, very friendly and made sure we had a great time, especially our 2yr old daughter who loved the day as much as us. Food and activities were great, plenty to drink, and music and guitar playing on trip back made for a relaxing end to memorable day. Highly recommend.

What a way to spend the day!! From champagne breakfast, great crew, comfortable outdoor seating, beautiful private isand with amazing snorkeling (all gear provided), buffet lunch, drinks all day, kava ceremony ad hotel transfers!! I highly recommend this one! Captain Mike and his crew were superb-especially Nade who held this scared swimme'rs hand the whole time while snorkeling! Thank you all so very much!!

Had a very good, enjoyable trip to Skooner Island. Thanks for the efforts to motivate me for snorkelling and help to accompany to seabed. Food and services was nice, all the team members were great, motivating and helpful. It was a memorable trip on 1st July!!

You get what you pay for :). Plenty of drinks including water on the boat and on the island, friendly crew members. Breakfast, lunch and snacks upon return. Really worth it. This is our honeymoon trip and we got a small gift, a cake and a special song from the crew. We recommend this tour.

Would highly recommend to all! Wish I had taken more photos but we had an absolutely amazing time yesterday. ESP with a child, she was looked after so well by all the crew without even hesitation. They included her on every aspect of the trip. Food and drinks included in the ticket and it was delicious, and they never ran out. Crew : 10/10 Food and drinks :10/10 Atmosphere : 10/10 Service : 10/10 I would be back in a heartbeat.

The crew were fantastic, food was delicious. Singing was beautiful. I could not recommend the hospitality enough. Myself and my family had the perfect day out.

A very nice excursion with a wonderful crew! There was live entertainment on board with various crew members playing guitar and singing. The private island was beautiful and the snorkeling was great. It was my first time snorkeling and Waka made sure to guide me through it! 😁I had a blast and would recommend to all!

Freaking amazing crew. Super positive guys and very focused on making it a fun trip. Take sandals as the island has a lot of coral debris. We took our 11 year old and had a blast!

This is the perfect relaxing trip.. imagine having your own little island for a day! Boat is a nice older sailing yacht..sure it could use a bit of tlc but it gives a good feeling and feels very safe :) Crew is as good as it gets, friendly and always there to help..and great on the guitar for a singalong! The island is veeery small,perfect for a group around 20-30 people.. nice with snorkeling and volleyball! Felt a bit surreal being on such a small island..but what an amazing day!! Don't miss this if you are visiting Fiji!!

This day trip was to a stunning island where the water was crystal clear and amazing white sand. The crew were so friendly and accommodating to everyone on board they kept checking with everyone if anyone wants beer or wine. There was breakfast on board (scones, muffins & fruit) and the drinks started flowing as soon as we departed - champagne, wine & beer. The staff were singing lots of songs on the way to the island which took about 1 hour 30 mins. Once we got to the island there was lunch (chicken, steak, fish) followed by snorkelling and kayaking which equipment was provided. The snorkelling was stunning. Would definitely recommend this island trip.

I went with my sister, 4 year old son and niece. The crew were fantastic with the kids. Kept them occupied by chasing around finding small crabs while we had a quick massage on the tables at one end of the island. The snorkeling was beautiful. The food yummy. And really enjoyed the guys playing their guitars and singing. My sister and I have both said would go back anytime.

Had an amazing time. Everyone was so kind and generous. Lots of food, lots of alcohol, lots of fun!!

The cruise is about 2 hours to the island and two hours back. Plenty of time on the island to enjoy the views, have a swim and a snorkel, and have lunch. We even got to feed a couple baby black tip sharks that were in the reef when we were waiting for the boat! The snorkeling was amazing and we saw sea cucumbers, a multitude of fish, eels, clams, sea stars, etc! It was breathtaking. Breakfast was OK, even had mimosas! Lunch was delicious we could not get enough. It was my friend’s birthday and they made a cake and sang which made it so special! We enjoyed the boat ride but they are definitely on “fiji time”! I wouldn’t plan on getting back at a certain time :) It was a great day!

Wow, it was just great! That said at the beginning. A pirate-style boat with a lower and upper deck. Plastic chairs are used for your sea comfort but why not just lying down on the deck? The boat provided fruits and bred with champagne. What you want more? Booze and food is complementary and I can tell you these guys have enough. It was a slower journey out to the island and back as the other ferries but for us the boat ride counts to the adventure like on a sailing boat. The island is small and has just what you need. The staff is funny and you get some insights and stories. Compared to other tours that part is more or less the same. Snorkeling was better though than on Savala island. Anyway, it was one of our better boat/island tours we had so far on our world tour!
