This was our first proper trip to Fiji. We chose not to hire a car and relied on the hotel transfer and taxi service. It was by chance that we came across Uncle Sam’s service. I HIGHLY recommend his service to anyone travelling to Fiji. From our first trip together he felt like family.. he went out of his way to look after us and he didn’t overcharge. We had planned to do the zip lining but because some in our group were scared of heights he suggested the mud tour. That was such a great experience and Uncle Sam went out of his way to look after us. He’s reliable, knowledgeable and honest. Sam went above and beyond to show us the REAL Fiji! We booked him initially for a taxi to take us to the Marina but told him what we wanted to experience so he took us to the market to buy food and kava from the locals. He explained what everything was and helped us get some good deals! We were in safe hands and would highly recommend him to everyone. Not only is Sam a kind, funny and thoughtful human being he is also extremely affordable! All our Fiji dreams came true thanks to Sam. Will definitely use his services again!

Sam was excellent! He picked us up from the Airport and drove us to our hotel and drove us back to the Airport at the end of our stay. He made a stop at the local grocery on the way to the Hotel to make sure we had snacks and drinks during our stay. He also took us to church on Sunday and even waited to bring us back to the Hotel. Sam was always on time and very friendly. Definitely recommend his taxi service!

We used Uncle Sam twice on our recent trip to Fiji. His communication was great. Cars were early each time they were booked. Very easy to deal with, his cars were clean with AC and drivers were friendly. We got uncle Sam himself on our ride from the Marriott Momi Bay to the airport, and I felt like we got a free tour out of the deal as he is so knowledgable and informative about local Fiji culture and traditions. Would recommend. He’s also happy to use WhatsApp to communicate if you don’t have an international Sim. Their prices were better than the other companies we priced out for the same service. Would recommend!

Uncle Sam is a fitting name because when you leave his company you feel like family! We arrived in Fiji a little overwhelmed with a three year old and another not quite one and from the moment we met Sam everything was better. He took us to our first hotel, with a few stops along the way. He was back to pick us up from the Seabus and take us to the coral coast. The communication was 10/10 and made the trip so EASY. On the last day my husband wanted to get a tattoo and Sam researched the best person for the job, even went to check out the studio to make sure it was clean. While the tattoo was happening Sam the kids and I walked around Nadi, went to the beach and it was a seamless last day. From every fantastic recommendation, to the care he took with my sons he made our holiday what it was. But on top of all that? Sam is just a really great person to spend a few hours with, to talk to and laugh with. When we return it will be with Sam at the wheel! Vinaka my brother, you’re one in a million.

I found Uncle Sam on TripAdvisor where we had some great reviews. I contacted him via WhatsApp and gave him our pick up details. Communication with Uncle Sam was easy and professional. I actually forgot to mention that we would need a child car seat, but he met us at the airport with a child seat already installed in his car. As a Nadi local he shared his great knowledge of places to go and things to do. We used him several times during our holiday and he was always extremely punctual. He was Happy to wait while we finished our meal or my massage. He is a lot cheaper than the taxis at our hotel. He always went over and above for us - providing us with a SIM card for the duration of our stay. He also provided us with our first authentic cava experience at his Uncle’s house - very generous of him to do that. I can’t say enough about this guy. He made our holiday so much easier and effortless. Thank you Uncle Sam. And his wife’s curry is to die for!! 😋 I have already recommended him to friends.

We trusted the reviews and never regreted our decision. Sam is the kind of person that emulates the Fijian Hospitality. He looked after me and my daughter. His price was affordable. He shared to us Fiji experience that we will never forget. So surprised that he fed us while on tour. Thanks to his wife for the delicious fried fish and taro. He also fed us with Chicken Palau oh... so yummy! We can't thank him enough. We will definitely get his services again. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough nice things about Uncle Sam. He was wonderful! So helpful and responsive. My flights were changed and I had a short overnight stay in Nadi. My taxi driver from the airport promised to pick me up the next morning to take me back. But he was a no-show. Uncle Sam came to the rescue and picked me up within 15 minutes, getting me to the airport and my flight with plenty of time to spare. Our encounter with uncle Sam was truly one of the highlights of our trip. He charges much more reasonable prices than any other private driver and hotel transport we looked at. My wife and I booked Fiji Cab Taxi near me (uncle Sam) to go into Nadi town shopping. We had a great experience and saved a great del of money by not booking the hotel taxi. Sam was on time and he waited for us to do our shopping and then returned us to our hotel. Very informative about local Fiji issues and places. Sam was absolutely AMAZING during our trip to Fiji! We contacted Sam to arrange transport from the port to Momi Bay and told him that we would like to experience the local Fiji culture. Sam ended up giving us over a 5 hour tour of the areas around Nadi, with stops at the Gardens of the Sleeping Giant, the local Hindu temple, the original first settlement village, and a local market where we were able to share Kava with the locals. The tour was above and beyond anything that we could've imagined! Sam made us feel a part of his family, and we will definitely be reaching out to him again on our next trip!

Uncle Sam was amazing, picked us up from the airport and also while we were there he took us on a village tour, local markets and mud and hot springs, massages included. He was very informative and had many suggestions on where to visit and places to eat. We were super happy with him and definitely will recommend him to anyone travelling to Fiji, and his prices were so much cheaper than the resorts.

Great local taxi driver that took us to all the tours including: mud pool, Hindu temple, Nadi markets, first landing and hidden village. Without charging rip-off prices that the hotels charge. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone travelling to Fiji. The entire service from start to finish was very impressive. Sam was very prompt, polite, professional and abide by the road rules. He would always text or call to confirm pick up times. While in Fiji he was our own tour guide on several occasions. He took us to the mud baths while he waited for us and was happy to stop at the local supermarkets or McDonald’s on the way back to our hotel. Sam is friendly and pleasant in nature. Can't recommend Sam enough. Was over in Fiji with family and friends and he arranged for a number of cars for us all each and every time we needed. He was great with local knowledge and always pointed us in the right direction. Also on our last day there, my daughter left her toy bunny at our hotel and we only found out after getting to the airport. Sam made the trip back for us to pick it up and then delivered it to us at the gate. He's a true gent and I will be calling on him anytime I'm back in Fiji. If I could give 10 stars I would!!
