The hype is real! Finally stopped here having driven by a 100 times. Actually drove past again, then turned around. Glad I did. Ordered the Gustavo and it was very delicious, and cleverly wrapped to make eating it easier. The place was clean, cool music and relatively fast service. The side of coleslaw was nice too. Try it out!!!

The Tortuga Sandwich Shop started out as a food truck in Virginia which is reflected in the art on the walls. Cool little shop with delicious sandwiches! You can eat in, takeout, or get them delivered by Uber eats. Enjoy!

Their specials have me coming back. 🤤Here featured is the Kunu Burrito. “Grilled teriyaki chicken, rice, Hawaiian style mac salad, greens dressed with sesame ginger vin, crispy fried Spam and pineapple hot sauce on a giant flour tortilla. “ (not a spam girly, so I got mine without) but It was such a great flavor bomb. My husband got his with spam, he actually got two because he was so excited! I also love their Madrid style potatoes, featured in the pictures as well. (Super crispy potatoes topped with Manchego cheese, Brava sauce and garlic aioli) Everything there is super authentic and you can tell it’s made with TLC. 👌🏼

Incredible sandwiches, atmosphere, and service. We had the Chivito and the Salmita - which were insanely good. The elocos were one of most delicious sides I've ever had.

Excellent!! What are you doing right now? I can tell you it's not what you should be doing. You should be calling Tortuga, making sure they're open, and going there immediately. My first time today. Fantastic sandwich. Girls behind the counter are super nice. Place is clean, everything you want, when you need an incredible sandwich.

Fresh and flavorful with everything made in bouse inclusing drinks and desserts. Check their weekly specials! Always something new and delicious.

The best kept secret! Absolutely incredible food every time. This time I got the Brasa sandwich.

Who knew there was such a gem, located in beautiful downtown Sanborn! I had a Gustavo and my wife had a Phoenix, along with crispy potatoes and their coleslaw. Both sandwiches were large and excellent; had to take half of each home. All too often, sides of coleslaw are essentially throw-aways, tasting like it came from an industrial drum. THIS coleslaw was very good. (I'm very picky about restaurant coleslaw and this version was totally enjoyed.) Lastly, be sure to try the Alfajore cookies, or at least get a couple to take home.

Casual restaurant with fantastic food. Very generous sized sandwiches. Interesting combination of flavors that taste really great. Fresh ingredients really make the food outstanding. Recommend the Chivito and the Elocos!

Just stopped out for a Sammy after seeing so much goodness posted on FB. WOW, is all I have to say, sooo much flavor, everything was fresh and the Sandwhichnista was very nice. Gonna come back again for sure!!!

Absolutely amazing food that has all sorts of fun twists. A bit pricey and indulgent but it's well worth the price and travel for the amazing food. Definitely check this place out, bit of a sleeper.
