I want to start off by saying the staff at Mahweap Marina were wonderful. They were very helpful and friendly. That's the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. The boat on the other hand was completely unacceptable. I made note of everything wrong on the boat and gave it to them and I really hope they fix these things before sending another family out on the water! I'll list everything below so if you are renting a houseboat you could maybe look out for these things before leaving the marina and save yourself from some problems! 1. Our right engine didn't go up and down so if we hit rock there was nothing we could do about it. It also meant the door on top of it wouldn't close so it was always slightly exposed to the kids. 2. The boat was supposed to have 12 life jackets it only had 7! Totally unsafe! 3. Our fresh water tank had a significant leak. So it ran out of water pretty quickly. 4. There was a mouse on board and they provide a mousetrap. Well the trap didn't have the spring so it was completely useless and we were stuck all week with an unwanted roommate. 5. The can opener didn't work. 6. The roof leaked (when it rained) onto the bed! 7. The flyswatter was broken. (Whipping them with a towel worked!) 8. When we were traveling to our spot we hit a few waves from other boats and the cabinet latches were mostly all broke so the dishes up top flew out and shattered! They are very lucky our kids weren't standing there when it happened because there would be serious injury. Plus, now they are out several dishes so it's in their best interest to fix the latches!!! Not that hard! 9. Both bathroom lights didn't work so you had to use a flashlight at night to go to the bathroom. 10. Front porch light didn't work. 11. And pump one didn't work. The boat as a whole was very run down. I hope this helps you get an idea of what to look for if you are renting a house boat!

We drove over 5 hours with 3 kids and arrived 2 whole hours past check-in time and were told that none of the lake view rooms were ready. None! The lady said to go drive around and go back in an hour and "hopefully" our room would be ready. That was extremely disappointing. We had to go get burgers from a nearby gas station. The stay itself was very relaxing, beautiful view. I recommend getting a lakeside room. The difference was only about $30 and well worth it. It has a cute private patio with a small table and 2 patio chairs. The grounds were very well kept. I'm rating solely on our stay because if it was rated based on our front desk experience, it wouldn't be that great.

Had a great, quick, one night stay. Bed was extremely comfortable, HOT shower, great bathroom lighting with full length mirror on closet. We had the tiniest mini fridge and no microwave in room (located by check in desk). Resort grounds were gorgeous, pool and hottub were open, hottub was busy around sunset and slightly murkey but we went in later at 9pm so, hopefully it was clearer earlier. Breakfast in the restaurant on site was good and decent prices but again views were gorgeous from the restaurant! Overall 8/10 - wish regular rooms (not suites) had regular size mini-fridges however I will definitely be back! 😊

A very nice and updated marina. They went ahead and constructed all new floor planks for the main walking areas in 2017. They are still continuing to do updates along the way of other areas of the marina. Like the bathroom, doggy potty areas, bathroom on every main dock lane, sitting areas on every dock lane and more. The convenient store is very nice and updated. One thing I really was NOT impressed with was their freezer section. All the ice cream was almost melted because it was not cold enough. I spent $8.50 on a small container of specialty ice cream and the taste was weird and I know it's because it was melted before and then partially frozen after. It was gross at the bottom. As far as big boat to extremely large yacht parking this marina has it all. There's a nice pull up section near the store where you can pull up and shop or get drinks and head back to the water.

We had an awesome experience renting a boat with this company. John was super helpful on the phone when we were planning the trip and he was great when we arrived. We had an awesome day on the water!

Such picturesque scenery. The water on the lake looks so inviting especially on such a hot day. There’s a long ramp to and from the restaurant by the lake. Lots of boats/yachts. There’s also a shuttle/golf cart service if you don’t feel like walking down or up the ramp. There’s a gift shop. We didn’t have enough time to stay and enjoy this place (one of these days🤞). It looks like it’s worth returning to. We just came here to look around since we were early for our Antelope Canyon Tour.

I don’t get why the negative reviews? I am an off season traveler and this place was truly a gem find. I had planned on outdoor camping but unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans. The renovations will be amazing once complete and check in staff was friendly. Our room was superbly clean, we were thankful for the rate, we had shelter, king size bed, hot shower and coffee in the am. It was peaceful, quiet and absolutely perfect! I needed to get away for the weekend and I am so happy I decided to come to Page, Arizona and I will definitely stay here again! 🏜❤️

This marina has been going down ever since ARAMARK bought it years ago. Services are horrible for anyone that has a boat moored here. Docks are falling apart and are unsafe. And now they have you walking down a boulder ridden dirt ramp that is in no way ADA or elderly approved. Somebody is bound to roll an ankle or two. It’s extremely dangerous and I really hope nobody gets hurt. What happened to you guys? Our rates have slowly gone up, but your services and facilities have gone down. The little remodels you’ve done make no sense when you never have them open. And when they are open, nobody is friendly that works there. Occasionally in the summer, you’ll get a happy dock cart driver, but it’s rare and it’s only because they work off tips!

Boat tour was pretty long, but it was worth it to see most of the lake and canyons. Tour guides were really good, and apparently the captain is the first Navajo woman captain on Lake Powell. It was a fun experience and I highly recommend it.

Surprisingly pleasant! Nice pool, nice fire pit(s), free astrology lessons on cloudless nights. Really cool.

We enjoyed Lake Powell tremendously!! Our family rented a 19ft powerboat that was reserved several months prior. We arrived and had to wait 30minutes in line for processing the reservation. We then found our instructor who got us set up. We headed out and my husband stated their was something wrong with the prop. We came back and they quickly got us a a new boat. Overall we left at 9:25-reserved for 8am. Marina was quick to resolve issue and also gave us a credit on the amount we had paid. All of the staff was very friendly and wanted to make sure you were being helped. We are from AL so this lake was very different for us.

There’s soooo little water left, we were very disappointed driving into Wahweap Marina. We did rent small water craft and do a two hour trek way around because you are forced into smaller areas because the main central part of Lake Powell looks drained it so low. It takes much much longer to get to the cooler parts further away. It’s still beautiful. A shocking discovery in person. Picture just don’t show how seriously this water has been taken away. I thought these places would have been protected — but absolutely not. Such a shame. This is a national treasure they have emptied. Heart breaking. The staff at the marina are amazing. The walk down to get to the water is a long long walk. Where the marina is now was once deep deep under the water level. It looks quite unsettling. Why isn’t this considered an emergency and getting the attention it deserves. They just keep adding length to the boat ramps. Glad I got to see it before it’s really empty. Many areas and marinas are closed. :(

RV campground was easily accessible. Pros: level pads, full hook up spaces were far apart, clean bathroom facilities. Cons: If you bring your dogs there is no where to walk them without them getting stickers in their paws. No pet park. Really bad ant problem at our location (ant hills everywhere). We requested a space in Section C and when we checked in we were told C was not open. The lady at the front desk was very rude. 2 days later they opened up Section C while we were still there! If you have full hook ups and can rent a spot in the C section it is newer and nicer with concrete pads.

The hotel is a dump. I get that it was inexpensive and you get what you pay for but I didn't expect DISGUSTING foul smelling trash cans in the hall ways (we were literally gagging every time we had to go to our room), bugs in the room, terrible service (it took them 2 days to fix the trash can in the hall and when they did the poor kid that had to change it out almost threw up in the hall....yes it was like that for 2 days and we told the front desk twice about it but they didn't care) and broken equipment EVERYWHERE. The restaurant is the only decent part of this hotel and you still have to go through the sewer smell filled lobby to get to it. The location is amazing so hopefully a real hotel chain buys this property at some point. If they do and clean it up and add attention to detail and decent service this place would be amazing and I'd pay $500 a night. Until then we will be staying in Page moving forward.

We joined the 1.5 hour boat cruise and had a wonderful time. The scene was beautiful. The highlights was when the boat entered a narrow river. You would think it was the end of the waterway, and then after the turn another section of narrow calm waterway unfold in front of you. If I have the chance to go again I would allow more time and go for a longer cruise that includes the hike to Rainbow Bridge.

Very dramatic and beautiful place, worth exploring. Great destination resort, with lots to offer. Also with page only 5 miles away, and the Dame just outside the park, there are many options. Very recommended. Great rv Park, good marinas. And good food at both the driftwood, and the rainbow room. Great places with an amazing view of the area.

Wow! I read other reviews saying the place was dated. We didn’t think so at all. There are different buildings, so maybe we had a refreshed one. We were in building 7. Gorgeous views from the room, bar, restaurant, and entire property. Very friendly staff.

We rented a surf boat from Surf lake powell and used Wahweap our second day. We loved it! It was so easy. We didn't have any interaction with anyone at the Marina bc our son picked us up on the boat. The parking lot was close to the launch area. I think you had to pay $5-10 to get in to park but it is also covered with an annual parks pass which I highly recommend for this area. The water was calm and there wasn't a lot of people going in and out. Use this marina! You won't be sorry. I know people that do business around Page don't like to recommend one marina over the other so I will. Antelope Marina was REALLY REALLY busy! It is where most of the Houseboats live and the boat traffic was awful. This makes the water very unpleasant. It was so choppy getting out of the marina and even for miles down the lake. So bad we almost called it a day and turned around. Plus, We are very experienced boater. Also, the parking lot is really big so you have to walk a decent amount to the area where you have to be shuttled by a golf cart to the docks. We waited a really long time each way. Wahweap is the way to go. So easy but again we didn't ever speak to a soul or need any assistance. Enjoy!

Good place to fish, rent a boat, houseboat, eat, camp, you name it. We stopped by to check how the dock was. The water has been going down quite fast. But they are still in business. it is a national park so you have to pay during the day.
