Hands down the best Thai food I've had in Salt Lake. ChaiYo Thai Togo is in a funky spot off of Highland Dive (you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to the place) and definitely a hidden gem. My party had a little of everything: Pad Gar Pow, Red Curry, and Pad See Ew noodles and we were all beyond satisfied with our meals. We all had medium spice and it was perfect. Not too hot and not too mild. We all had slightly runny noses at the conclusion of our meal. The Pad Gar Pow was flavorful and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The Pad See Ew noodles were delicious and the sauce was wonderful. They are very prompt. When you place the order they will give you a pickup time and it will be ready then. This place does not have any seating and it is takeout only. Prices are reasonable and I promise you will not be disappointed if you give this place a chance. We'll be back for sure.

Hot Cashew Nut Stir Fry has excellent spicy level. Food was ready before quoted time 😁, excellent service. Highly recommend this place

Good thai food, only to go orders but they keep the food nice and hot until pick up. Springs rolls were super crispy and tasty!

This is my boyfriend and I's favorite Thai place. It's affordable, delicious, and consistent. We love the yellow curry and pineapple fried rice. We get it at least a couple times a month, and the portions are so big we always have leftovers :)

We spent several weeks in Thailand and this is the best Thai food we’ve had since being home. The yellow curry and drunken noodles were so so delicious. Highly recommended

Great Thai food! Every type of curry I've tried from here is great and the pho is also really good. One of my favorite takeout places in Mill Creek

TRY IT! Trust me. Just do it. You know it's gonna be bomb. Also picking up the food at a seemingly secret door in the lower level of a strip mall just adds to the intrigue. I think it makes the food just that much better. Also I'm so sad that they are on vacation for the month of May. Like good for you guys, I'm way happy you get some time off, but bummed I have to wait to get more of that delicious food.

Hot dah-am! So authentic! So spicy! And all the textures were PERFECT!! We got Thai spicy for both entrees!! Drunken noodles are like a wetter sloppy version of beef chow fun but spicy. Plus the veggies; broccoli, seafood mushroom, zucchini, carrots, red bell peppers. Larb salad was also so good! Salty but the sticky rice really mellows it out. Coconut shrimp was lightly breaded and crispy with a hint of coconut only in the back of the mouth. And fresh spring rolls are a classic!! The packaging of the food was also very thought out! Sticky rice was Saran wrapped & labeled, drunken noodles were HOT & packed in the container <3, coconut shrimp was only half closed since they’re fried. We waited 15 mins, drove from Lehi & was more than well worth it!! Drunken noodles; beef (half eaten before photographed 😂) Larb salad; pork Coconut shrimp Fresh spring rolls

My wife and I love this place. The portions are a good size, and I've never ordered something that disappointed me. Drunken Noodle and Larb are great, and their coconut pudding is a favorite of ours.

I can’t get enough of this place. I eat here weekly. The flavor is always on point, portions are great. They are so kind and helpful. We love to get extra protein but even without it they don’t skimp.

One of my favorite Thai places! I ordered chicken pad thai and coconut shrimp. Both were great. Good service, large portions, and reasonable process

Love this hole-in-the-wall spot!! Finally a place with decent prices and portions. I had the yellow curry and it was flavorful but not very spicy. I’ll have to go with the green curry next time and get it spicy. This is only to-go orders so don’t plan on sticking around. It had a constant flow of people who all seemed to be regulars. Can’t wait to try more on their menu! 😍🤤

Best Thai food in SLC!!! It is a take out only restaurant, absolutely no seating. But it is a clean kitchen with a friendly server. Absolutely try everything and definitely do not skip the coconut pudding. The larb salad was delicious in the lettuce wraps; The yellow curry was delicious; The pineapple fried rice with chicken was delicious. We will definitely be going back.

This thai food place is literally a hole in the wall (or ground) since you've got to go down stairs in between the buildings to get in there where a small table blocks the entry to the kitchen. Food was ok. I love spicy but this was too much. We chose a lower spice level and it still got us bad. I couldn't taste half the dishes we bought because there was too much spice. A level of one spicy pepper should not make me sweat and lose my taste buds for hours.

Hands down the best Thai Food in the Salt Lake Valley. My only complaint is the location. I live on the West Side and they operate on the far East side of the Valley (Not their fault). It's well worth the drive. I'll continue being a patron but wish they'd open a location on the West Side (Pretty Please). Also I gave a low "Atmosphere" Rating as this is not a sit down restaurant.

Always good food, I’ve tried Thai food in many states and places and none compare. It’s super authentic flavors. Not that out of a jar flavor some places have. Friendly service and fast. Portions are generous and the atmosphere is clean and looks organized despite the building it’s in. Their prices are perfect, I feel like they deserve every penny. Almost every Friday I call Friday Thai day! As an excuse to come here and my husband doesn’t complain ha. Thank you for the great food!! Please don’t change a thing!!

The papaya salad is the best I’ve had since my old Muay Thai instructor’s wife used to make it. The curry is everything that is beautiful In this world, go eat here immediately or you are missing out on the best parts of life

We love this place and everything we have had is yummy. My only gripe is under no condition should anyone want to order the salad rolls. Found out it is $7 for four salad rolls that have literally no protein. It's literally just lettuce, herbs, and rice noodles which simply does not make sense why anyone would want to pay for and eat this! Super frustrating to find out because their menu doesn't explain anything and I assumed that like all restaurants that offer salad rolls, or would at least have tofu or something. I ended up throwing all the rolls away after trying to give it the benefit of the doubt by trying it. Honestly offensive enough for me to reconsider ordering from them again.

We ordered door dash from ChaiYo tonight (4/20/23). It was okay I was really excited because of the high praise id read in other reviews, but the rice was under done, and almost crunchy, and they left an onion peel (not a slice, but the outer chewy rind of an onion) in my curry. The flavor of the curry was good though. Portions were small for 15$ an entre. I don't think I'd order again.

This has become my only fix for Thai food. The food is always great. I haven't had a bad dish yet. The portions are big and always consistent. The yellow curry and pineapple fried rice are my go to. It's an amazing value for someone like me who prefers take out!

The yellow curry was so good. Also liked the cream cheese wantons. Be careful with spice, they're not messing around. Food was fast and hot, will definitely be eating here again soon.

This place as quickly become an at-home date night favorite. A truly hidden gem. But worth the trip down the stairs to find. Good portion sizes and just a couple entrees will leave tasty left overs for two. Also, so nice to find one of the few places in Utah that doesn't tone down the spicy too much just to please the people that think spicy mayo is too hot.
