We arrived when the restaurant was nearly empty, we asked for a table different to the one shown and the waiter accepted and said it was no problem. As soon as the manager (blue shirt, glasses) saw this he swore and was obviously upset with us rather than his staff. The food was on the whole poor, we thought we were getting something higher standard than the Benidorm average which is poorly cooked cheap steak. It was the same as the Benidorm average, sadly. I asked for the New York strip medium rare and it arrived somewhere between rare and blue and 60% inedible thanks to the gristle and uncooked parts. The rest of the group’s food was mediocre at best. Waiters seemed generally uninterested in their job or were understaffed, took two attempts to get our bill and we ended up leaving the money on the table as we didn’t want to wait any longer. Avoid this place if you think it’s better than the cheap places nearby, it’s not. It’s the same, just with a slightly worse atmosphere and slightly higher prices. Photos show the “medium-rare” steak and the 60% of it that was like chewing an old leather shoe.

The staff couldn't guarantee the food was Gluten free so my wife took the chance and she was fine, no chips but a jacket potato was provided, we both enjoyed being there again, we think the last time was 2004 ish and it was snowing lol

Good food. Came for the famous ribs but we wanted to also see Benidorm. Since we are here for another 10 days we will likely return for more ribs.

Had beautiful meal and service was great. Only down side was young children running around tables and parents just ignoring them. Felt sorry for staff as the children ignored them and parents didn't care

Staff could be more friendly. We both had the ribs and they were nice but no wow factor. I wouldn't say it was value for money, in fact quite expensive for what you got 😒

Always been a fan of Tony Romas from my days of having unlimited ribs in Florida so was happy to see they had one in Benidorm! Food was absolutely delicious, especially the ribs, service was ok. Price wise slightly expensive but only due to lots of other places in Benidorm offering very cheap eats. If I could complain about anything it would be the toilets. These would do with a bit of a makeover and a deep clean. Would definitely return when next in Benidorm :)

Advertises itself with the phrase "The best ribs in America". I haven't been to America, but yes, the ribs were good and there were enough of them.

Baby back ribs are amazing the salad size could be a bit bigger 🤣 pretty crowded inside tho. Many UK peeps 😅

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We ended up coming here 3 times on our trip to Benidorm which was a nice surprise. Our first time I endorsed in a steak and fries whilst my peer got the spicy rib rack, the steak was 100% the best I had in a long time, upon trying my peers ribs i realised they were the best ribs i’d ever had! So of course the next time I had the spicy ribs! We then had a late lunch in here on our last day in Benidorm I had their seafood pasta and my peer had some loaded potato skins! Everything was beautifully cooked my only complaint is the ribs the second time were not as spicy as the first time! But overall I cannot wait to come back and have some more food here :))

Good food. Fairly decent service. Made a change of scenery from what you see in the high street.

We (6 in party) shared 2 sharer starters with a mixture on, was lovely. My main was a chicken salad, wow there was a lot, it was very tasty but unfortunately couldn’t eat it all, the others had a variety of meals and they all enjoyed theirs too. Would definitely recommend and if we ever return we would definitely head back there.

Food and service now are not good. We have been there 1 year ago and was very good, now the wine was bad, the service was bad and the food was horrible. Asked for an entrecotte medium rare came a cheap steak done and dry like rubber with a salad that i could vomit. They brought another steak, same quality but 40 minutes after, when my partner already finished his food and i was not hungry anymore. Food and service very bad now. Sorry but it's the true.

This restaurant is nicely set out and comfortable, the staff were friendly and courteous, the service was very good and the food well presented, even though this is a grill restaurant maybe it could have a few more veggie options, I highly recommend this restaurant.

I ate here twice. First time it was quite nice, no complaints. Last week it was utterly disgusting. Service was ok, but the "famous" ribs where burned to a crisp, just pure charcoal. Pulled pork burgers, both served was cold. Fries where cold for most people. Child menu was supposed to come with ice cream which was never offered, not that I was was going to stick around for another minute. Also her "free" drink was charged for. Never, ever again.

Great food, great service, good value for money. If the place was heaving the atmosphere would have been better. Not that we minded a quieter meal.

The food was average but the desserts were amazing (skillet cookies). The service was very slow and we often had to leave our seats to find a server but we got our meals at an average speed. The atmosphere was good, quite a few families, like us.

We always wanted to try this restaurant as it looked so good, the reality was very different, the ribs we ordered were lukewarm, frozen chips and the tiniest tub of coleslaw, then to add insult to injury nearly €4.00 for a pint of Heineken was just greedy when you can get a beer across the road much cheaper and to be fair better food and ambiance. Not good value and avoid if it's a special occasion.

While I did like this restaurant, it was basically a hyped up lesser version of all the other meat based restaurants in the area. The FOH was rude and acted like he had minutes to live. The food prices were highly inflated and it felt like being there was an inconvenience to certain staff. I would recommend the beef ribs and the St Louis ribs.

Nice food but they forgot our food, we waited an hour for our mains. We asked for mayo and another drink, they ignored us. Took ages for any service and was a waste of our night!

What can I say? That rack o’ribs was out of this world. The tender smoky baby-back ribs coated with golden bbq sauce was le top! We’d like a bit more of that creamy coleslaw next time! Such a small bowl of it. We love that you did a mini-tasting of the dipping sauces before the ribs came out, nice touch. Thank you Tony Roma for a warm welcome to Benidorm. Ànimo!

Starters and main meals are a good size for what you pay

Been here a few times and always hit and miss. Went last night and ordered a variety of stuff which all was extremely good apart from the €37 rib eye, unfortunately presented very poorly and extremely fatty. Found most of it to be inedible, didnt complain and paid the bill, everything else was pretty good

The onion loaf was fab, steak was cooked rare to medium as I asked and the crispy ribs were outstanding

American restaurant.. good size portion and the price is not too bad..

I was dubious going to an American joint but then again everywhere else in benidorm were Irish bars along the strip. Went in and greeted with a smile. Ordered the so called world famous ribs. They came out and OMG they were the best baby back ribs I have had anywhere. Seriously I should have gone for the full rack! Meat just melted and left the bone cleaner than a dish after being in a dishwasher! Next time I go back to benidorm I'm going straight here. Well done all the staff and chefs. Made my last day a happy foody day! 11 out of 10!

Can't fault the ribs in this place, those in our group who had them said they were great. However, I was one of the unlucky ones that didn't order ribs. Stay clear of the steak! Undercooked, over priced, over fatty. I've never eaten a shoe but if I did i'd think it would be a close resemblance. You would think in a rib joint they should be able to make a reasonable steak, but no, they can't.

Good food, food prices. Went for lunch and had the Santa Fe salad (small size) and the Verde salad it was still more than enough for a lunch

One of the best ribs I’ve had for loooong time! Very crowded and the AC in the restaurant was horrible but 4 stars for good customer service, quick service and taste of food.

Came expecting amazing ribs, was very disappointed: It was very busy when originally coming here, so was told we could be seated an hour later at 9 30. Understandable with how busy it was. Unfortunately when we went back at 9 30, we were made to stand in the restaurant until 9 45 waiting for a table to be cleaned. It almost seemed as if we had been forgotten about. We chose to eat here as looking at reviews it would seem that the ribs were amazing, unfortunately this cannot be said for my ribs, as the meat was tough and overcooked. The sauce was nice though. The standout item was the onion loaf, which was seasoned well and was crispy

Loved the food and great portions for a hungry couple. Definitely revist next time in Benidorm. Staff dealt with drunken group of Irish lads singing IRA songs and annoying the other couples and families in a speedy and profesional manner and ensured they didn't inconvenience others unduly

Stopped for dinner - 5 adults, I child and 1 Infant. 1 starter between us. Waited a hell of a time for our mains,which were nothing out of the ordinary, food was just OK- not really worth the money. Had far better in smaller places for far less.

If you're in Benidorm you must try Tony Roma's. Amazing burgers or ribs and the sharing starter is the best

Waitresses pleasant, but older lady behind counter lacked friendliness. Ordered grilled Chicken Breasts with Salad. Arrived nicely presented and well cooked. Particularly small chicken breasts however, rather a large Pigeon Breast! (Seriously small) Followed with ice cream, again, nicely served and presented. At 20€, meal was reasonably priced, but I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant for a few reasons; Small portions, dining area lacked any atmosphere, decor was dated and furniture seen better days. One last thing, toilets were clean, but no towel or dryer after washing hands. This to me was a real negative. Also, I have mobility issues and toilet access was steep stairway. Definitely not suitable for anyone with similar mobility problems.

If you like ribs, steak, burgers. Then this is a great place to go. It's a nice, well maintained restaurant. Similar to a TGIs. The smokey baconnaise is so nice and the cookie dessert was the perfect ending for me

We came as a group of six. My Empire Burger was excellent. However, we waited 20 mins for meals. The cesar salad was poor. One of our party was taken ill and had to leave early. ( not because of the food i might add). When table was cleared, not one question was asked about why a full meal was left. Menu was good, but we found it pricey when weighing up what we had between us. Overall impression was food was " ok", service could have been better. It was busy, but not THAT busy.

Wow what a feast here! The starter we had was the share one I can't remember the name but my god you have to try it. I had the ribs and they was delicious! Must try if your in Benidorm!

Poor food ok service but when ordering the best I expect the best! That did not happen! A Tenderloin un eatable Raw burger came Well done etc. The poor servers tried their best. Respect to them saving the situation

Family friendly place, staff were very polite and patient. The mozzarella sticks starter was delicious and enough for 2! Overall very satisfied with service and quality.
