👍👍 A soothing place in the middle of jyvaskyla. A must go place in winter where yu can cross the whole lake just by walking/cycling/motorriding. Yu can also do many activties including ice skating and rent the equipments near the lake.

👍👍 The Noux nature park is true gem of the Finnish metropolitan area. You can walk around the forest for days or visit just an afternoon. Have a map and a compass, or follow the well marked trails.
There are shelters by several lakes where you can make a fire if you do so responsibly; there's firewood...

👍👍 An oasis just outside Helsinki. Swim for 2Km to the end of the lake and back for fun. Loads of nice walks and generally a really.nice place.

👍 A good destination for a day trip, you can also spend the night camping here. On Saturday in July, there were a lot of people during the day and several groups stayed overnight. If you want to stay overnight, you should come early to get a place for your tent, the terrain is quite rocky and uneven....
