A brand new Karelian style aparthotel in the heart of Joensuu. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are equipped with all you will need. Parking was included in our accommondation and the sauna has the best view in town. I highly recommend this place! :)

Hieno ja mukava hotelli ja erittäin ystävälliset ja mukavat virkailijat. Valitettavasti venäjänkielisiä kirjoja huoneiden seinällä, jota en missään muodossa ymmärrä. Toivottavasti hotellihenkilökunta ymmärtää kuinka vakavasta asiasta on kysymys ja poistavat ne sisustuksesta… Ei kukaan täysijärkinen halua nähdä moisia seinällä, aiheuttaa vaan ärtymystä ja vihaa…

Valehtelisin, jos väittäisin saaneeni joskus jostain yhtä hyvää ja henkilökohtaista palvelua kuin Lietsusta. Varauksesta uloskirjautumiseen saakka kaikki 10+. Joustavuus ja ystävällisyys sekä kaikki onnistuu-mentaliteetti osoittaa, että paikkaa hoidetaan täydellä sydämellä. Huoneet ovat yksilöllisellä tavalla ja hyvällä maulla sisustettuja. Perinteiden ystävänä arvostin virkattuja päiväpeitteitä ja pitsiliinaa, Karjalan Ruusu-huone toi hyvällä tavalla mummolaa mukaan muuten moderniin sisustukseen. Varustetaso vaativaampaankin makuun enemmän kuin riittävä kodinkoneista astiastoon ja ruoanlaittovälineisiin. Jos jollain haluaa vielä yhden piirun upgradeta, niin kylppärissä voisi olla erikseen shampoo (oma oli jäänyt kotiin, siksi ehkä kiinnitin huomiota), mutta tarjolla olevalla pesuaineella homma kyllä hoitui ☺️. Edellisestä voi varmaan päätellä, että eipä teiltä mitään puutu. Aamiaisella palasin myös mummolan ruokapöydän äärelle, karjalanpiirakoiden, sultsinoiden ja pyörösten maun kera. Valikoima sopivan riittävä ja kaikessa näkyi halu antaa vieraille karjalaisesta vieraanvaraisuudesta maistiainen. Plussana molempina aamuina vähän erilainen valikoima, eli pidempäänkin viihtyvät eivät ehdi ”kyllästyä” tarjontaan. Hotellin yleissisustuksessa oli kivasti tuotu esille talon ja Joensuun historiaa. Ja kodikas tunnelma loi oman viihtyisän vaikutelman. Mies antoi myös saunalle pluspisteet, löylyä ja tilaa riitti. Kaiken kaikkiaan äärimmäisen kiva Pohjois-Karjalan visiitti, tulemme varmasti uudelleen sekä suosittelemme tätä majoitusvaihtoehtoa lämpimästi myös muille. Kiitos, kun saimme olla teillä ”kylässä”.

Kivoja erilaisia huoneita aivan Pielisjoen rannalla. Jokaisessa huoneessa oma keittiö. Keskeinen sijainti, mukava henkilökunta ja mikä parasta, majoittujille ilmainen kuntosali alakerrassa. Myös helppo lähteä kävelylenkille ympäri kaupunkia, koska reitti lähtee aivan hotellin vierestä. Kaupat, ravintolat ja kaikki muu tarpeellinen aivan vieressä. Suosittelen!

Ihana paikka, palvelu, yöpyminen ja sauna, myös lapset tykkäsi kovin. Sijainti loistava. Aamupalalla vielä maukkaat karjalanpiirakat ja vatruskat! Vahva suositus!

Huone oli siisti ja tilava. Plussana pyykinpesukone. Aamupalalla hyvät piirakat ja päälliset. Ei mitään isojen ketjujen höttöä. Sijainti loistava. Palvelu aidon ystävällistä.

Tulimme tänne Lietsuun kolmeksi yöksi, emmekä ole pettyneet. Huoneet ovat siistit, palvelut ovat erinomaiset ja ihmisläheiset. Saimme hyvän parkkipaikan talon päädystä, josta olemme kiitollisia. Aamu- ja iltapalat ovat olleet maukkaita. Sauna oli hyvä. Ainoa asia mitä kaipasimme oli kahden istuttava sohva vuoteiden välissä. Olisimme siitä katsoneet jonkun hyvän ohjelman. Huoneessa on muuten kaikki mitä matkalainen tarvitsee, voitte olla siitä ylpeitä. Suuret kiitokset henkilökunnalle.

Erittäin positiivinen yöpymiskokemus. Palvelu, varustelu ja sijainti olivat kaikki kohdillaan. Huoneen siisteys oli myös ensiluokkaista. Aamupalalle iso suositus.

We stayed for two nights, and it was an enjoyable stay for us—tidy rooms equipped with a washing machine and kitchenette. The sauna can be privately used with reservation, and the gym downstairs is easily accessible and opens early. The heartwarming Karelian breakfast is very nice. We definitely will stay again when we stay at Joensuu.

Ihana pieni hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla. Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta, aivan ihana monipuolinen aamiainen ja todella siisti huone, kuten myös muut tilat. Rauhallinen ja turvallisen tuntuinen paikka. Kaikki toimi loistavasti eikä valittamisen aiheita todellakaan ole. Tulemme varmasti uudelleen!

I stayed on the weekend of Mar 5/6, 2022. This is a new aparthotel in the old postal services building whose fourth and fifth floor have been completely renovated for the purpose. Other occupants include a public gym whose services are available to hotel guests at bargain rates. You couldn't really get any more central in Joensuu than this. It's a good place to start for anything when you're around. The rooms are brand new and well equipped, the beds cozy and comfortable, and the modern arrangements with the code locks and everything work really well. We had an unusual schedule so the owners delivered breakfast supplies to our room before our arrival so we didn't need to act on the house schedule. I stayed in the Muuzikku room which is decorated with old records and photographs of locally famous artists. Very tastefully done and hit a sweet spot with me. I don't know when I will be coming to Joensuu again, but I doubt I'll even bother looking anywhere else for accommodation when I do.

Great central location near everything in Joensuu. Very nice and helpful personnel, they seem really happy to welcome you. They even helped us to carry our stuff to the room, which just does not happen in Finland ever. Some nice details: during Covid-19 they will only provide pre-ordered breakfast to the rooms in the evening. For 8 euros you'll get bread, Carelian pastries, yoghurt, cold cuts, cheese, veggies and berries. Very nice selection. You can get little bags of oats for porridge as well as some fruits for free. There are also boxes of Legos (washed and cleaned) to borrow for children. Interior of the room was cosy, there were pictures with frames around. A little kitchenette has everything you need for a short stay; dishes, cutlery, tea and coffee. You can wash clothes and there is a dishwasher too. Coffee maker and water boiler in the room. There are two play parks nearby, many restaurants and the market square around the corner. There are parking places (8€/day) at the hotel and nearby. A grocery store and liquor store across the street. Three stars for the room interior (nice but not fancy) but five stars for great service and customer orientation and location! Definitely would visit again.

So clean and convenient and customer friendly hotel with everything I need (apart from swimming pool). Sauna (with scents) was nice and included to the price. The breakfast was very good and equipment in the room great.

A brand new aparthotel built in 2020 just in the center of Joensuu. Basic but well equipped rooms with a comfortable bed, kitchen and even a washing machine for clothes. This was just perfect, I didn’t miss the older ”real” hotels in Joensuu at all! There’s also a free coffee machine in the lobby and a common area and a possibility to reserve a sauna in the 5th floor (didn’t go however). Breakfast can be ordered to rooms for 8€, it was simple but good, many products made by local producers. If you reserve the hotel via their own website, parking is also free outside the hotel. For a simple hotel sleep with a great price and location, will choose Lietsu again!
