The most beautiful hotel in Kilpisjärvi and the most amazing sauna! Also the food is local and delicious with wine pairings options.

A very near perfect Hotel with great view, Staff, Rooms and very good food. In all a Hotel with very high Standard. The rooms have Blinders that will cover you in complete darkness if desired. I can only remark on the very bright flashing light from the Smoke detector in the room that can disturb your Peace. A place to visit.

Erittäin hyvä ja viihtyisä hotelli, johon palaisi mielellään uudelleen! Kaikki huoneista yleisiin tiloihin ja saunaan tyylikkäitä ja erinomaisen siistejä. Kaunis ympäristö ja upeat näkymä ympäröivään luontoon. Oheisen kuvan maisema hotellihuoneen isosta ikkunasta oli erityisen sykähdyttävä. Palvelu ensiluokkaisen hyvää. Laadukas aamupala ja ravintolasta kauniit maisemat isoista ikkunoista.

What a great experience! I spent here two nights on my business trip. What can I say that has not been said already. The room was stylish, personnnel was super friendly, sauna magnificent with a view to Saana. The hotel is also very cozy, the public area with the big fireplace certainly adds to the feeling. Will definitely come again.

We have just returned from a stay at the Cahkal hotel. We had an amazing time in this stunning hotel, beautiful location, lovely room with a view, delicious food and comfortable atmosphere. And most relaxing saunna. We cannot praise the staff enough for their personal attention, kindness and shared knowledge. Whether a waitress, chef, cleaner, guide or part owner each staff member helped to make this a very special break. Thank you to Olli, Okko, Saija, Mira, Sirpa, Ville, Jami, Saga and Margot. You are a brilliant team working in a very special place.

Went to have an after-hike dinner there. Service was very friendly and professional. The food tasted delicious and looked esthetic. Would definitely recommend for a hungry hiker.

Had a fantstic stay here. The staff was so helpful, rooms all new and tidy. The Sauna is best you can find and the views maybe best I have ever seen. Their restaurant also was able to deliver true Lapland flavours. Cannot thank the whole Team enough. Will be back for sure!

Loved our 2 night stay at this hotel. It’s new, modern and well designed with excellent service , delicious food and a range of activities to do during the day. I recommend this hotel and would happily return.

Very good new hotel in very nice place near the visitor center (luontokeskus). Friendly staff, beautiful nature and restaurant with delicious local dishes.

We only stopped by for dinner and couldn’t be more pleased with the excellent food. The reindeer was the best I’ve ever had, the pike carpaccio was excellent and the rein carpaccio was also outstanding. Friendly and helpful servers too. An excellent experiencee!!

We really enjoyed our visit to the newly opened Cahkal Hotel. The staff at the reception, as well as all other employees were very friendly. The room offered enough space for two people and had a fabulous view of the adjacent birch forest. So did the sauna which offered the same view and could be rented for your own use. The hotel's own restaurant had a small menu with excellent dishes. We are happy to recommend the Cahkal Hotel to others.
