I’ve lived years in Mexico and I can say that this café is the only place in Finland that serves REAL Mexican food, the kind that your Mexican grandmother or mother in law makes. I highly recommend it. The owners are super sweet. My Mexican daughter was in heaven eating here. We live in Helsinki but will start travelling to Turku only to eat these sopes and tamales. Delicious.

The buñuelos are handmade there and were so crispy and tasty. I can recommend. I tried the tamales too, good they had vegetarian options but one was a little bit dry. Hopefully, next time we can try more things like the chilaquiles and the tortilla soup.

I have been living in Finland for years and this is the only place that has the authentic Mexican flavor, it tastes like 'casa'. The owners are really nice people that take the time to explain you the whole process that takes every dish together with the tradition and story of the dish, I totally recommend it.

The pastries were super nice, and don't even get me started about the chocolate oaxaca (it was delicious). They're very open about the cultural origins of their meals. And it's authentic stuff, too. Great coffee and meals basically. The prices are fair too. Cozy place and the owner is the friendliest owner I've met in the city. A genuine guy. It's worth checking the place out. I know I will definitely be going here again. I suggest checking this place out. You will not regret it. Nor will you feel like you just emptied your pockets after you've left, it's a very satisfying experience, in my opinion.

The perfect way to travel to Mexico being in the middle of Turku 🇲🇽. You have to enter through a building and follow the instructions to get to this amazing Mexican restaurant. The food tastes authentic and there are vegan options with lots of flavour. The atmosphere and the attention is very cozy. There is a lunch offer that includes the main dish (veg option too), the drink and dessert of the day and also coffee; all that for €12,5. Definitely coming back! Te hacen sentir como en casa 🍃🏡

I'd highly recommend this nice family-owned cafe. Tamales taste very authentic just as it should be. And also I think this place should be pointed on every coffee geek's map cause they sell very interesting species from Oaxaca, Guerrera and Veracruz. Very authentic! The owners are so nice and friendly and good at explaining the food. Nice decor. They have special menus sometimes which should be reserved ahead of time, a bit pricey but worth it!

The owners were friendly, accommodating and informative about the Mexican delicacies on offer. The tortilla soup and hot chocolate were real treats. Definitely worth going to instead of the usual café chains if you're nearby!

This is my favorite place to eat at. It is not easy to find authentic Mexican food in Finland, however this cafe does it fantastically. They even have a stamp card that after so many visits gets you a free Mexican specialty. I love the calm atmosphere, music, and lunch specials. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. I had so high expectations after reading all the good reviews about their food. I went for lunch and ordered chicken stew tacos. Meal was overall quite tasteless (the chicken stew, rice, dessert cake was dry).. Maybe today is not their best, maybe I should’ve ordered something else.. I don’t know. :(
