This is an amazing place if you want to enjoy nature and some luxury. Staff is super friendly. Food is great as well. We were lucky that we booked this as you can really experience Huskies, Northern Lights, Ski and lots of Snow and fun. This is much more than the typical tourist place, this feels like real Finland...

My partner and I had the most amazing 5 day break at this hotel at the end of March, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left the experience was fantastic, the staff were extremely professional and friendly and the food was sensational! The activities and the guides were also great, nice small groups mean it’s a really personal experience - we had such a wonderful time snow mobiling and on the husky safari. The location is beautiful! We were also so lucky to see the northern lights in all their glory just outside the hotel. The staff are great, they were kind enough to let us know when we were eating dinner that the lights had appeared! We really recommend this hotel, and will definitely be back in the future!

My mum and I stayed at Beana Laponia and the whole experience was absolutely amazing. Our expectations were high but they were exceeded by far. It is a small family run hotel so definitely isn't suitable for everyone (if you want 5 star hotel service and luxury, long list of dinner menu options etc this hotel is not for you) but I easily prefer Beana Laponia over a luxury hotel. The activities were great. We went snowmobiling with only us two and the guide. We went on a dog sled excursion which was amazing! The surroundings of the hotel are stunning and you have the freedom and equipment to go on you own adventures. Food was beautiful too!

I stayed with a friend in Beana in the end of November. We were the only guests in the hotel at the time. The hotel is small and far from the city, a lot of room to relax, pretty peaceful place. The staff was very polite, spoke great English and were very helpful. The food in the hotel was fresh and delicious. The location made travelling to the city a little expensive (€100 by hotel transport or taxi!) but it was honestly worth it, we wanted a little escape from city and the sights were great (city lights won't bother you if you want to see the northern lights either). Lastly, the facilities in the hotel were great. The sauna and jacuzzi were only open for a few hours each day and you had to pay extra to use them outside those hours, but they were all very clean and comfortable. It was expensive, but we got our money's worth. If I visit Lapland again I'd definitely stay there again.

The beautiful rooms, the amazing bar, the incredible views and most of the beautiful staff. We had a large group and stayed number of days. Nothing was ever a problem and they smile constantly even when under pressure. The food was great and the bar is beautiful. I would strongly recommend it as the best place to stay in queenstown

Wow! We had an amazing time at this small boutique hotel. It was so much more than we imagined, exceeded all expectations. Julie was wonderful and made our stay super relaxing. The food is absolutely amazing! It’s a set menu most evenings but I just loved every dish. There are so many activities available to you even a private spa experience including a sauna and outdoor hot tub. If you are wanting to experience Lapland, this is a must go.

I remained with a companion in Beana toward the finish of November. We were the main visitors in the inn at that point. The inn is little and a long way from the city, a great deal of space to unwind, pretty serene spot. The staff was exceptionally pleasant, talked incredible English and were extremely useful. The food in the lodging was new and heavenly. The area made going to the city somewhat costly (€100 by inn transport or taxi!) yet it was really worth the effort, we needed a little getaway from city and the sights were perfect (city lights won't irritate you if you need to see Aurora Borealis by the same token). Ultimately, the offices in the inn were perfect. The sauna and jacuzzi were just open for a couple of hours every day and you needed to pay extra to utilize them outside those hours, however they were all extremely spotless and agreeable. It was costly, yet we gotten a fair shake. Assuming I visit Lapland again I'd remain there once more.

It’s a hotel that is well appointed with friendly and helpful staff. They provide all the serious winter clothing for venturing out in the cold. It’s a great place and worth a 2nd visit!!

A wonderful place to base yourself and enjoy the best that Finland has to offer. Great accommodation, scrumptious food and loads of activities. The full day husky safari and the snowmobile adventure are particularly good. There’s also a little hill nearby that you can walk up and catch the northern lights when they decide to show.

Staff is great, amazing location, amazing dog sled experience overall. My rating system is 4 stars or more = excellence. 3 stars = great would go back. 2 stars means something should be different. In this case i was surprised that many amenities are advertised like the jacuzzi that normally are inclusive, or breaky for that matter, (and for all i can tell in website material) but was charged 200 euros as a surprise for an hour in the jacuzzi “due to covid restrictions “. Fine. However- that should be communicated before hand and not an fyi on check out… Good hospitality is good communication.

"Hotel Beana Laponia is a true gem hidden in the heart of Swedish Lapland. This hotel is the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in nature. The rooms are cozy and warm, with comfortable beds, heated floors, and large windows that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious, locally sourced cuisine, and the bar provides a cozy atmosphere to relax and enjoy a drink. The hotel's amenities include a sauna, outdoor hot tub, and a variety of outdoor activities such as snowshoeing, ice fishing, and dog sledding. All of these activities provide a unique opportunity to experience the stunning natural beauty of Lapland. Overall, Hotel Beana Laponia is an exceptional hotel that offers the perfect combination of comfort, luxury, and natural beauty. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience in Lapland."

Excellent luxurious hotel, great kitchen, professional and friendly service, all activities were very well planned. Above all, the huskys were very healthy, energetic and meticulously well kept. Husky Safaris were the top. Place to return.

This hotel is one of the best i've had the fortune to stay in. It is beautiful and the staff are amazing... particularly the owner Mala. Couldn't be more helpful Make sure you visit the huskey farm! The chef is brilliant.... the food was wondeful and they cater for all dietary requirements. If you can try and get the suite... its stunning and has its own sauna This hotel is a mist for anybody going to Rovaniemi

Stayed here at the beginning of December. Wonderful hotel with excellent facilities. Great staff in an absolutely idyllic setting in Lapland. We went husky sledding for on a 3hour trip along the frozen river and into the woods which is definitely a bucket list item tucked for me. The food was good but could do with a few more options if you’re staying a more than a few days. Seems like they only had one CD on repeat in the restaurant which got a little repetitive, but that is literally the only bad thing I could say! Would highly recommend this hotel but be aware if you do want to see the northern lights, you have to do your research on when is best to see them, and you will need maybe a week to spot them due to conditions and weather.
