The home of Finnish national composer Jean Sibelius. A great piece of Finnish history - a must for every classical music fan and Finnish national.

Upea historiallinen. Hieno kokonaisuus, pihapiirin mm. omenapuut. Hyvät opasteet.

Lovely timber-built house, so calm and peaceful. Easy to envisage Sibelius living here with his wife and composing his wonderful music. The strains of Finlandia were in my head as we appreciated this setting.

Tämä oli vaikuttava paikka. Paljon huonekaluja ja esineistöä nähtävillä.

Puutarhassa kaunista!

What a charming place. I can see why Sibelius wanted to stay here.

Aikuiset 15 €

Beautiful and interesting place. They could have more info, more interactive content there.

This house is mostly as it was when the great composer and his family lived here (like a time capsule). I believe the gardens around the house inspired Sibelius.

Is well maintained and interesting if you're a Sibelius fan. But costs 15€ which is too much considering you only get access to one floor.

Just a bit disappointed because you are not allowed to the second floor....

Very lovely, very beautiful. Under some much needed construction and renovation. Interiors of the main building is well preserved with many of original furniture. I recommend you reserve 1,5 hours to explore the buildings and the forest path and the garden.

Well maintained and developed. Coffee, ice cream, etc. Short paths to walk around. Benches to rest. Toilets. Carpark. Reserve 30 min to 1 hour.

Finland most popular home museum is the one of family Sibelius. It also highlights the importance of his wife Aino to his life and career, as well as her wisdom and knowledge, and eye for things.
