Olin varannut pöydän ja kaveri ei ollut vielä saapunut paikkaan. Minut ohjattiin pöytään ja jätettiin siihen istumaan ilman että olisi tarjottu vettä pöytään tai kysytty haluanko juoda jotain muuta kaveria odotellessa. Jotta olisi saanut tilauksen tehdyksi joutui napsuttelemaan sormia saadakseen tarjoilijan huomion. Viinitilaus unohdettiin ja olimme jo melkein syöneet ensimmäiset blinit kun taas huidoimme tarjoilijaa missä viinit viipyvät. Tämän jälkeen tummahiuksinen miestarjoilija pelasti illan- kiitokset hänelle että ilta lähti sujumaan paremmin. Blinit olivat hyviä, pisteet myös niistä.

While waiting you could enjoy unlimited of light food and beverage. But doesn't see previlege services like what we expected. Sichuan soup quality is really low....very disappointed on this visit.

Nice place to have a drink in the terrace during the summer. The sun hits the terrace until about 9 pm, so perfect to sit outside when it's sunny. Wine prices are not too bad, considering the location of the restaurant. It gets quite busy but there are also many tables.

Very good and elegance place to eat or to take a coffe. The staff is very nice, specially the lovely blond lady. I bet you to eat more than 2 blinis 😂 2 was my maximum. #service #lunch #coffe

Super terrace from which to enjoy the sun and its enclosed space means very little wind. Lots of tables and seating, plus outside bar serving beers, ciders and wines. Toilets are just inside. Will return!

Good lunch place in the city center. Food is generally good. I'd recommend checking the menu before coming, as the more the menu is to your liking the better the experience. When I tried the menu with schnitzel it was too oily for my taste but the day with salmon soup was good because they have warm vegetable dish made with tomato sauce. Good coffee is a bonus to the lunch.

Mukava retro ravintola Helsingin ytimessä. Olin syömässä ryhmän kanssa. Meille tarjottiin pääruokana poroa ja jälkiruokana jäätelöä herkullisten lisukkeiden kera. Alkupalana oli maukas katkarapusalaatti. Tarjoilijat olivat kohteliaita ja mukavan hyväntuulisia. Ruoka tarjoiltiin verkkaiseen tahtiin, mutta eihän meillä ollut kiire, kun olimme ystävien seurassa. Tarjoilija olisi voinut aluksi kertoa koko ryhmälle, mitä aineksia käytetty ja mistä ne ovat peräisin. Nyt uudestaan käymässä. Ruoka on edelleen hyvää ja tarjoilijat ystävällisiä. Annokset kauniita, kuten kuvista näkyy.

Ihan mukava paikka, mutta oltiin firman porukalla eikä AV laitteet olleet laadullisesti ihan sitä mitä pitäisi. Valovoime heikko, eikö kuvan terävyys ollut ihan paras mahdollisnen. Mutta palvelu oli oikein hyvää.

Ihana vanhan ajan tunnelma ravintolassa. Ruokalistalla loistaa kotimaiset raaka-aineet ja menu vaihtuu vuodenaikojen mukaan. Viinilistalta löytyy ylläreitä.

Great place to eat in the terrace in the summer. Food is decent, not great. Selection in cafeteria is decent, not great. So all in all, decent place but nothing spectacular, except the location and terrace.

Only visited the café a few times and wish I could leave a better review. Little overpriced, not very clean ( the toilets were a mess ) and aways feels understaffed. Usually there’s not even a spot to sit where there isn’t someone’s left over cups and plates already at the table.

My husband and friends have been going to thus same place for blinis every year for 30 years. This time, we had a cabinet and good friendly service and I swear even the blinis were better than usual! We left a healthy tip. :)

A slight upgrade on classic Western dishes. For 60eu set menu, you will get full for sure with the main.

We had pikkujoulu here. All guests were so happy to see the view from window and enjoyed the perfectly private room. The facilities such as mic, projector and speaker was easy to use. We had 3 course meal andall liked it. The main steak was a bit cold but the soft and great taste covered this. Even the drinks for appetizer and main food were amazing. To be honest, I chose cheap wine options. But it was awesome. The white wine smelled deep and aromatic. Above all, the service was absolutely professional and excellent. REMEMBER NIKOS. THE very professional services you can expect from him and my friend asked me if I knew him before coming today🤣. That means he is sooo friendly. They prepared all for our needs such as electric extension cord for extra decoration and additional narikka(something to hang your jackets on). As the event organizer, this restaurant is an absolutely lovely partner. I will choose this restaurant again if I have a chance to organize another event.

A wonderful old restaurant with traditional Scandinavian food. Fine dining about 60 euros for a 3 course meal. And not a tourist in sight! Salmon and reindeer options are done very well, as is the mandarin sorbet! Staff are professional and friendly. And the speak fluent English. The old saying of "where there are linen napkins, there is quality" stays true.

Most of the staff members were very helpful. Some just silently brought the dishes. We enjoyed three different three-course dinner menus with recommended wines. They were good, some were excellent and some were OK. Lambvorscmack, pike-perch a la Mannerheim and beetroot aracini were somewhat bland. Or perhaps the main courses were even too affluent (too many ingredients). Artichoke soup, reindeer pepper steak, passionparfait and muscovado cake were great. The restaurant itself is full of feeling with nicely aged interior.

This restaurant exudes a sense of class in a timeless 1930s building in the functionalism architectural style. It was like taking a step back to the 1930's from the moment I walked in the door. I had the white asparagus plate which was delicious! It included caviar, Black Forest ham, poached egg, sautéed mushrooms, cucumber, olive tapenade and hollandaise sauce on the side. When I return to Helsinki, this will be one of my first stops!

It was our first dinner after a long flight so we are so tired. Atmosphere, taste and staff are very comfortable for us. We ordered salmon salad and lamb steak from a la carte menu.

Went there for the lunch buffet and wasn't disappointed. The soup was very good The tea was ok The salad was ok The meet and vegetables were nice as well. And as it is a buffet you can eat as much as needed so excellent value for money. It gets busy so make sure to look if there are places available first.

Great place to taste some of the classics of Finnish cuisine. Classy atmosphere and great service. Only downside was the unflattering bathrooms that looked like they were straight out of a highway-side gas station.
