2
days
out
(the
day
before
we
flew
out)
we
were
notified
that
there
were
"maintenance
issues"
with
our
apartment
and
we
had
been
"upgraded"
to
a
room
that
was
the
same
size,
but
a
floor
below
and
without
a
view.
We
checked
on
the
bobw
website,
suspiciously
the
room
type
we
had
booked
was
no
longer
an
option
(not
just
unavailable:
gone).
The
"upgraded"
room
was
also
cheaper
than
the
booking
we
had.
No
suggestion
of
any
compensation
from
bobw.
So
we
cancelled
and
rebooked
at
the
lower
rate.
The
classic
supreme
room
description
says
that
it
has
a
balcony,
gym
access
and
a
private
sauna.
The
balcony
is
communal
to
the
building,
the
gym
requires
vouchers
(assuming
the
concierge
is
open
when
you're
around)
and
the
sauna
is
100€
a
pop.
Some
appliances
don't
have
instructions,
and/or
haven't
been
used
in
months;
so
enjoy
a
stale
coffee
that
takes
2
hours
to
prepare
using
a
machine
that
needs
a
45
cycle
to
clean
and
then
another
45
to
brew.
Top
it
off,
the
access
codes
we
were
given
did
not
work
and
needed
to
be
reset
over
the
phone
(they
didn't
ask
for
id,
so
anyone
can
ring
up
and
reset
your
code).
Those
codes
worked
for
2hrs,
then
inexplicably,
the
original
ones
kicked
in.
The
glass
box
"bedroom"
just
makes
the
apartment
smaller.
The
concrete
post
and
space
heater
makes
one
side
inaccessible.
