Beautiful place! Really calm and mesmerising. The trails are clearly marked and pretty comfortable to walk around. The place is full of mushrooms and we also saw some people picking mushrooms for home! Also, so close to Helsinki, it’s just a 30-40min drive.

A great opportunity to discover the beautiful and majestic nature of Helsinki. The pathways are marked, it’s good to reach with the bus. The view from the panorama platform made me just speechless !

My favorite place to visit whenever I am bored or feeling lonely, both during summer and winter season. Such a beautiful place to interact with nature and spend some ME time. TIP - take food and water with you. !! Has multiple entry and exit points, so research the spots you want to visit beforehand !!

Paths, rest stops and route markings in good order. In terms of scenery, the park itself does not offer anything amazing to see, when compared to other Finnish national parks I have visited. The parking lot areas of the National Park are a bit small when it is a natural destination populated by Helsinki residents.

The view is amazing in winter! The walking trails are manageable with very clear signs. It is easy to reach via public transportation. Highly recommended for a day trip from Helsinki.

Great park to visit. They have plenty of trails, a ski slope, a museum and great views all around. The nearby Reindeer reserve is not worth a visit. There's some skiing around as well so you can enjoy all year around

No words can describe our camping experience in this park. We stayed for four nights. It felt like we connected with nature so deeply and truly. Just enjoy the beautiful landscapes and feel the tranquility

I had the chance to visit a portion of the park with a local guide as a side activity of a business trip. Less than 1 h far fronte Helsinki center. Beautiful forest, reach in local colorful birds ! Trails are very well mapped.

Certainly one of the best national parks in the country. Highly accessible from Helsinki. I recommend a visit at the visitor center! You can also collect the badges of all the national parks.

Nuuksio National Park is one of the most beautiful national park in Finland in Espoo region. It's has huge forest area, lake, bike trails, horse riding, camping. Perfect place to see in all of Finland's 4 season especially in summer. There is parking available, restrooms, wooden benches to rest and eat. It's a must visit place in Finland. Would love to visit again soon Nuuksio :) had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the scenic beauty and time admist nature. Highly recommended!!

Perfect spot for visiting Finnland. What a beautiful place on earth. We visit the museum here and the reindeer park. Both where interesting and wonderful, especially the reindeers.

Absolutely exquisite place. Went in early February, the temperatures were around -4. The orange path on the map gives you a great tour of the forests and the lakes. It also takes you up to set fires to have some lunch and warm-up. This route also takes you past the reindeer park. The 245 bus arrives right by the door stopping at haltia near a cafe. The lake was so frozen that we could walk across it!! Would 100% recommend this to anyone staying in helsinki as its only 1 hr 30 minutes from Central station.

Great place for having a walk, go trekking, skiing or just spending a great time in the woods. Superb views and nature connection. There is a beautiful museum too.

It was beautiful! The only problem we had was figuring out which areas were public. Finally we just chose a small cove at the end of a gravel path. I have no idea if it was public or private but we were completely alone the entire day so it didn't matter. The swimming was great!

Beautiful hiking trails, three different round trails in different length, good signposted! Paddling or canooing also possible. Very inspiring scenery (lush forrest, rock formation, lakes) interesting and informative Park Info Center.

    - From a winter’s wonderland to a summer’s paradise, Nuuksio has got it all. - Just 45 mins drive from Helsinki Centre. - The parking space is not that big, so be prepared to park your car on the side of the road.

Nuuksio national park is a must see if you are visiting Finland. Just make sure you have plenty of time to spend there. 😁

A very nice place throughout the year. Nuuksio is a good place for some camping and hiking with easy trails. However, it is quite generic Finnish woods - i.e. nothing too special, but a very good recreational space. One very bad thing is the parking space. There is probably space for like 50 cars and it is frequently visited by the wardens to give parking fines for incorrectly parked cars.

Idyllic. Fabulous infrastructure -- there are lots of well-marked trails and bathrooms along the way. Absolutely stunning scenery in October.

Beautiful lagoon even when frozen. There’s a parking lot and you need to walk down about 500 meters to reach the lagoon. Be aware there are houses nearby so do not disturb them

Beautiful place to visit. Out from hustle bustle of city in the arms of nature. They have ski slope and and very old log cafe (try Finnish salmon soup and cinnamon buns). Getting from top (car park) is bit of fun 🤩.

  • 5/5 Lorena I. 1 year ago on Google
All trails really well indicated. Parking areas are big, there are some campfires and benches to spend a great time. Went in spring with lots of snow and frozen lake, but I would definitely repeat in summer. Other activities there were riding bikes and horses and going canoeing.

Wonderful Nationalpark with a lot's of different hikingtrail. Been there several times and will go more!

  • 4/5 Nick 8 months ago on Google
Beautiful national park that is relatively easy to reach. That means that it's also usually quite busy, which makes it hard to find a good tent spot sometimes. But if you do some research, you can find some really nice and more remote places.
