Ihana ja kaunis rauhallinen paikka leppoisaa lomaa arvostavalle. Isäntäpari mukava ja huomioi joka ainoan asiakkaan esim. aamupalalla ja tuli juttelemaan. Aamupala runsas ja paljon itse tehtyä piirakkaa, leipää, minicroissantteja, tilan omia marjoja jne. Viihtyisät, vaikkakin pelkistetyt huoneet, suuri kylpyhuone, paljon aktiviteetteja. Ilmaiseksi käytettävissä pyöriä. Koiria ja lehmiä. Torstaisin todella hyvää puu-uunipizzaa, johon lapset olivat vielä keränneet itse sieniä metsästä. Lettubaari myös, mutta emme syö makeaa niin ei testattu. Iltaisin voi grillata kodassa, on puita, kirves ja sytykkeet. Ainoa pieni miinus oli kodan oven päälle pesiytyneet ampparit, jotka allergisena vähän hirvittivät kun pörräsivät pään ympärillä sekä aika likaiset ruuanlaittoastiat kodassa. I first came to Lomamokkila with my family 22 years ago. Since then we have been back each summer. Now I come with my children. Lomamokkila is like another home to me. I couldn't imagine a summer without being there. I have enjoyed being here since I was only 6. I loved the feel of the place, I was able to play with the animals and help out around the farm with chores. Lomamokkila has grown and changed during these 22 years, but I always found new things to enjoy. I am so happy to see my son enjoying spending time there as I did as a child. During the years I have spent here I have stayed in almost all of the cottages and type of room Lomamokkila offers. There is quite a large variety of room types available, so everyone will be able to find something that suits them. There are rooms around the main building and you have access to the kitchen in the guesthouse if you wish. You can also have breakfast and dinner in the main building ir you like. The food is wonderful and you wont feel hungry after you leave. There are also summer cottages by the lake that you can stay at. The cottages are all lovely. You can choose from fully equipped cottages to traditional and modestly equipped cottages. All the cottages have their own beach, rowing boat and sauna. You will easily find things to occupy your time. You can go to the lake and borrow a rowing boast, go fishing or swimming into the lake. There are also plenty of activitites such as tennis, badminton and volleyball. Inside you can also find a rec room where you can play biliards, board games or even have a workout on the excersize machines. You can also pich mushrooms or berries in the forest around Lomamokkila. If you prefer you can also just spend your time relaxing. The Björn family is lovely. I have grown up with them as a part of my life and I consider them to be a part of my extended family. They are kind to all of their guests and aim for each guest to have a lovely stay. I have met a lot of other guests during the years and most of them come again and again, everyone loving the place.

Very relaxing place. Billiard, bikes, sauna, cows, boat. The host family makes you feel at home. Great location to see National Parks.

Very nice bed and breakfast. Location just outside of Savonlinna is easy to find. Property is beautiful, and there's enough chances for activities from private beach and tennis to cycling. Breakfast was plentiful and had pastries made at the spot. Room was clean and cool despite weather being hot while the time of visit. Would heartily recommend to anyone.

Really nice friendly hosts, beautiful accommodation by the nature with typical Finnish breakfast. Also the hosts gave us useful tips to discover the region.

We stayed in this beautiful b&b for a couple of nights. Wonderful access to near lake with possibility to rent a boat or sauna. Great staff and top service!

Aivan ihastuttava paikka. Omistajapariskunta oli erittäin ystävällinen ja vierailusta jäi todella hyvä mieli. Kaikkialla oli siistiä ja puhdasta. Erityismaininta herkullisesta ja kattavasta aamupalasta, jossa oli myös erityisruokavaliot huomioitu kiitettävästi. Lämmin suositus jos etsii jotain muuta kuin ketjuhotellit.

Oikein viihtyisä b&b. Mukavan pieni huone erillisessä rakennuksessa, keskellä iso, tilava yhteiskeittiö & ruokailutila. Aamiaisella puuro, kahvi/tee, mehu/vesi, leipä & leikkeleet, kasvispiirakka, pulla jne. Saapumisillan bonuksena oli puusauna ja pulahdus järveen sumuisessa, hämärtyvässä illassa. Noin vartin ajomatka Savonlinnaan. Suosittelen.

Very nice farm B&B located about 12km from Savonlinna. It's easy to reach there by car and there are plenty of road signs pointing to the correct path. The rooms were very clean and there was also a possibility to keep our things in the common use kitchen fridge. There were also plenty of games and activities available for both kids and adults.

Perfect place to stay. Adorable and helpful hosts, lots of outdoor activities, great sauna and really striking barbeque facilities (an old Finnish kitchen and a cozy place near the lake), very tasty homemade food for breakfast and dinner. Recommended!

Wonderful, family run b&b. Clean, comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast with lots of home baked goodies (a shame we missed the lettubaari!). The yards and nearby facilities (swimming beach and sauna) make it fun for the whole family. Also, very convenient location if driving to/from Linnansaari National Park.

Nice and clean room with good bed. Breakfast was fine. Very nice and helpful owners provided us with tipps regarding the area and restaurants to go to. Beautiful place with own boats and sauna by the lake.

Peaceful, cosy, clean and extremely comfortable B&B. Service is the best i have seen in Finland so far👌🏼

We (family of 5 with dog) stayed for two weeks in one of the basic summer cottages (with an outside dry toilet and without running water) as this fits more to our understanding of Mökki-life. (The other, bigger cottages are fully equipped with bathroom, electricity and so on). The cottage has two sleeping rooms one with a bunk bed the other with two singles. The living room has a sofa and a big fireplace. The kitchen has a gas cooker as well as a small gas run fridge. The lake is right in front of the door and suits also little children as the water is quite shallow. The private sauna is great and ready chopped wood is available in a little store hut next to the cottage. The owners are absolutely friendly and very helpful. Try their homemade pizza on Thursdays!!! The surrounding area is beautiful and absolutely quiet (also the tiny airport on the other side of the lake is of no nuisance at all. We saw maybe three to four small aircrafts in the two weeks). You can go hiking, fishing, canoeing, biking and more. Savonlinna is only a few kilometers away and you should definitely visit Olavinlinna. Also the nearby Nationalpark Linnansaari is great and the Forest museum in Lusto a great place. I can definitely recommend this place!!!

Friendly family who runs this Lomamokkila. Most of the breakfast is own and fresh made. I only say: Delicious! Also possibility to swim and to lean a rowing-boat for free. We can only recommend this place.
