Kaunis paikka.

Kyllä oli näkemisen arvoinen paikka. Upea ateljee ja asuinrakennus puutarhoineen. Näyttelyt myös hienot.

Not quite what I was expected when I visited without knowing what it would be. Turned out it's just 2 buildings, where the artist was living, and another one is his working place.

Museo minun makuuni. Upean hienot vanhat rakennukset kauniilla paikalla. Taidetta patsaita, veistoksia, piirroksia ym.

Mielenkiintoinen kohde, kolme eri kokonaisuutta. Emil Wikströmin taiteilijakoti on toinen kohde, hänen ateljee on kolmas kohde. Ehdottomasti käynnin arvoinen paikka.

Very authentic piece of architecture! If you want to know more about early Finnish sculptures - a good place to stop by.

This place has amazing view of lake, can spend couple of hours there during summer. Also, have a coffe shop, nice to enjoy a cup of coffee with the view.

Very interesting place, worth visiting, Wikström 's house like from a tale, and the cultural heritage amazing! Incredibly talented person whose house hidden in beautiful landscape. I'll definitely visit again. Little minus for the closed cafe, would be nice to have a cup of coffee inside.

I was very positevely surprised of this museum home. It holds the house of Emil Wikström, Who has designed the Helsinki railway sration statyes, Stone Men. Also, the grandfather of the famous Finnish cartoonist Kari Suomalainen. The museum is so popular they arrange bus and boat tours for people to visit it.

A lovely idyllic place, two hours there felt like a short time. Could spend there more, walking in the garden and having a picnic (they have many tables and benches outside). The sculpturer's atelier with own organ and observatory was impressive. The cakes in the cafe were delicious, especially britakakku. Separate thanks for making leaflets in Ukrainian language!

We stopped here on the route from Hämeenlinna to Tampere, but were not sure if we should visit the museum or not. First thing a lady was waiting upstairs trying to get us to buy tickets straight away. We went to the cafe first to buy some ice creams for the kids that we had promised, the ice creams were reasonably priced, but we had to go outside to the terrace because the air inside was really bad and it was raining outside. For a short while we stood by the door making sure we don’t disturb any other customers allowing the kids to eat their ice creams. The lady who tried to make us buy the tickets was clearly annoyed we hadn’t bought any at that stage, and first complained to the children that they hadn’t put their ice cream paper in the rubbish bin, then complained that we were obstructing the handrail on the completely empty stairs. She did all this in the rudest possible way. Even though we were honestly planning to pay a visit to the museum and had even checked the prices beforehand, it was an easy decision not to buy the ticket at this stage. We rather went to sit on a boat for one hour instead, waiting for it to leave. The museum might have been great, but we had no way to see it, because part of our group refused to buy the tickets at this stage. Excellent job repelling paying customers.

Definitely recommend a visit and guided tour to understand the history of this beautifully preserved place. There's a great view of the water and across the hills when you're at the top. The garden is gorgeous and so serene. There's a cafe for a quick break.

This museum was amazing! So much history to see and so much information provided throughout the museum! The museum is informative, tidy, beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing. It also has a small cafe which is lovely to just sit down and relax. I can't find any flaws in the museum, I found it to be super peaceful and enjoyable.

Just five minutes from the highway or half an hour bicycle ride from Toijala railway station will take you 100 years back. Really worth visiting.
