Rooms are nice, but quite small. comfortable beds. Enough space in the bathroom and clean amenities. Sauna is great, could be a bit warmer, swimming pool is really nice. Bathrobes not included, needed to be rented for an additional price. Overal great views. Breakfast wasn't the best. Lots of options but not fantastic. Overall nice stay

Thanks for the late reply. We went back to pick up the bag about 2 hr later after checkout when we just noticed the bag is forgotten. BUT your reception only let us send email instead of returning the bag directly from your hotel, when we were PHYSICALLY IN CLARION HOTEL. Now you say we were late to do this or that⁉️I’d like to ask what is this service❓Are you professional ❓If we picked up the bag lately, then it should be partly stolen⁉️ Thank you for letting me know customers’ responsibility. Please take also your own responsibility and improve the service!

Everything was great! The hotel itself, the stuff and the swimming pool with a see through floor on the rooftop of the building 😀👍🏼. The only minus - no parking area near the hotel. And the parking given by the hotel isn't so simple 😅. I should warn you to remember the gates of the 'rokkiparkki', and ask for the key code at the reception and don't forget to ask where exactly the entrance gate is . This is really important, when you have your ferry in the morning 😉 and there is a limit of time.

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was a bit small but it was clean, modern and had nice sea view. The spa on the roof was awesome. There was a bit too much people at the same time (considering covid) Breakfast had lots of different food. Really liked the pancakes and Nutella

It’s very weird that Clarion Hotel doesn’t accept bookings which are made after midnight. I called reception on 00:09 am, and asked for room, but the reception responded ”I don’t sell rooms after midnight”. I said, I will be there in few minutes and it’s 10mins past midnight, would it be possible to sell me a room? The answer was no. Where is the customer service and flexibility from 4 star hotel? Never encountered something like this in any country.

Disappointed. Arriving in the hotel. Then they tell me that my booked room (200 euro per night!) isn’t great but they can upgrade me for a cost. Then they talked me into creating an account as it would give me a daily voucher of 4 euro. I did that. The next day the voucher isn’t visible. I went back at the reception and they told me I am not eligible as I didn’t book at their website directly. The rooms are not great. The reception is understaffed. The breakfast is pretty good as is the rooftop bar. I am traveling monthly to Helsinki and sometimes try another hotel. Next time I will book again in my favorite hotel.

Lovely rooms, amazing view over the old harbour. Very comfortable beds and pillows. I personally appreciated room free tea & coffee, iron, good(!!) hairdryer and set of Rituals cosmetics for body and hair. Was happy that didn't need to being any of it in my tiny hand luggage for a 3 days business trip. Also hotel is in 20mins walking distance from the center. Definitely recommended place to stay!

Hygiene violation. Would not like to be Karen, I am an easy customer but I won’t get back as cleaning of rooms is missing (room 339, 05.08-06.08). Literally there is no cleaning at all and I am not kidding. Supposing that guys just change bed sheets and that’s it. Room was full of hairs (especially bathroom) and there was a dirty WC. Do not drink from glasses inside the room, they do not clean them. I understand that there are many overnight stays and perhaps it’s difficult to take care of everything on time. I did not expect great service for 100€/night, however I suppose the room must be clean. Young russian speaking gentleman from reception (unfortunately did not ask for his name but he had a sign of a new talent) relocated us to another room on the seventh floor, big thanks to him as it was very easy and fast, he is a great manager. Room was at least much more cleaner, however the WC had urine on it. Reception was busy so I did not bother them. I would highlight once again, I did not have any expectations for a low cost room but I just needed a CLEAN space for one night. When it comes to good sides, breakfast was good and view is amazing. Wish you a nice summer season and respect your guests! :)

Saapuessa huoneen siivous puutteellinen (roskikset tyhjentämättä, kahvit täydentämättä). Muuten huone siisti ja toiveiden mukainen, merinäköala ja kylpyamme. Ylimmän kerroksen saunasta erityisesti pisteet, hotellisaunaksi hyvät löylyt ja hieno maisema 👌 Kattoterassi ja uima-allas myös mahtava, tosin tuulinen paikka. Henkilökunta (erityisesti ravintolan) 5/5. 2v. lapsi huomioitiin erinomaisesti. Ravintolan henkilökunta puhui pääasiassa englantia, mutta asiakaspalvelu erinomaista ✌️ (+ Kauppa (K-Market) lähellä)

On kyllä uskomattomalla paikkaa hotelli, joukko liikenne keskustaan oven edestä, Tallinkin Viroon terminaali läheisyydessä. Oli huone 12 krs josta näkymä merelle, huikea. Uima-allas ja sauna osasto todella upealla näköallla, Jensen sänky todella hyvä nukkua. Aamiainen todella hyvä varsinkin omeletit👌. Yhden tähden vei joka paikkaan tuupattu saateenkaari aate. Mut hieno hotelli ja mukava henkilökunta.

The room looks great, a small inconvenience is the ventilation, even though we adjusted the settings, it was getting very chilly during the night. The breakfast is very diverse and tasty but only starts at 7, and that is a bit late if you have to be at work at 8. The amenities and the personnel were great, the sky bar is amazing!

Recently visited the Clarion Hotel in Helsinki and was thoroughly impressed. The panoramic views from the rooftop bar were particularly stunning. A great place for both leisure and business. Highly recommend!

Great hotel, close to the centre, rooms are nice and clean with everything you need. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bar on the 16th floor has amazing views over the city and there is even a pool and gym. Food is also very good, buffet breakfast until 9:30. Ate in the restaurant a few times which was also excellent. Highly recommended.

Minulla oli erittäin epämiellyttävä kokemus hotellissa. Löylyhuone saunassa oli erittäin liukas. Liukastuin ja loukkaantuin, venyttelin jalkani lihaksia niin, että en voinut kävellä. Kun pyysin apua respasta, he vastasivat, etteivät he todellakaan auttaisi minua. Ei lääkettä kipuun, ei edes jäätä laittamaan jalkaan. Pyysin pyörätuolia, ja he tarjosivat sen. Minua hämmästytti kylmä, sydämetön asenne.

We had an amazing experience at Clarion. Spectacular view ( helsinki harbour view ) from the room. Gym, sauna and a beautiful pool on top. A best place to experience Helsinki from the top.

Maybe I got lucky with the room, bed was comfortable, no springs felt despite quite thin topper. The pillows were not to my liking though. Room doors slamming when closing. No decaf coffee in the room. Nice pool on top. Some vegan options for breakfast.

Nice and uncomplicated. Comfy beds in modern room with Chromecast that actually works! Breakfast had everything I could ask for. Overall just good quality, no corners cut, of course not by accident, but thanks to solid staff. Pool, sauna and gym all top notch.

rooms, bed, furniture are on the small side but everything is there and utilitarian. the architect didn't exactly think of the views of the rooms in the same corridor as mine. comfy pillows. the water pressure in the shower is amazing! never had a shower like this before and probably never will. although it's right on the water, locating feels industrial. I'd have preferred to stay at a more lively area. Service was fine. Breakfasts were great but lunch not so impressive. also I was expecting better coffee from a helsinki hotel.

We stayed in this hotel while on our little city break to Helsinki and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. We loved the heated rooftop pool, the views were amazing! The breakfast was good too and the hotel was close to the city, so you could walk if you want. There is also a Tram line juts outside the hotel, if you prefer to take the tram! So, the connectivity was great! The rooms were clean and the rooftop bar was good too! We had a great stay :)

Olen aina pitänyt Clarion -hotelleista, mutta tämä oli kyllä ala-arvoinen kokemus. Ennakko-odotukset olivat korkealla, olihan kyseessä melko uusi hotelli, hyvällä paikalla. Ala-aulassa hotellihuonetta joutui jonottamaan n. 15 min ja sen lisäksi kassajärjestelmä ei toiminut, joten jouduin jonottamaan huoneen maksua vielä erikseen. Huone oli pieni, mutta onneksi siisti ja hiljainen. Ravintola oli täynnä eikä sinne mahtunut, toki sekin onneksi sanottiin jo ovella. Jouduin lähtemään aamulla ennen varsinaisen aamupalan aukeamista, mutta olin etukäteen varmistanut, että kylmää aamupalaa on tarjolla aulassa. No joo, olisi ollut, jos sitä olisi täydennetty. Sain sentää kupin kahvia ja sämpylän, kaikki muu oli loppu. Seuraavalla kerralla valitsen kyllä jonkun muun hotellin. Ei vakuuttanut.

Great hotel for a short stay in Helsinki, especially if you arrive and/or leaving with the ferries. Located about 15 min walk from the ferry harbor, but not that close from the city center. The room was clean and decent sized. The interior is modern and sleek. Bed, pillows and sheets were clean and fluffy. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent too, you have selections of cold and warm breakfast. Overall service was great, the staff were always friendly and helpful. Plus they all speak fluent English so it was easy to communicate.

Yhden yön staycation kahdelle kuohuviini tarjouspaketilla tuli kokeiltua. Huoneesta oli hienot näkymät. Auto oli parkissa kadunvarressa 2 vyöhykkeellä. Onnline:nä voi tehdä check in ja check out. 16. kerroksen terassin uima-altaassa tuli käytyä, ulkolämpötila oli noin -7C. Samassa kerroksessa on myös tunnelmallinen skybar. Kävelymatkan päässä, kulman takana lähellä aivan, on alepa sekä k-market. Aamupala oli runsas buffet, yrttinakit oli todella herkullisia. Kiitos hotellin henkilökunnalle onnistuneesta yöpymisestä!

Minusta hyvä kokemus kokonaisuus. Ensimmäinen kerta täällä. Siisteys, järjestelmällisyys, kiva sisustus koko hotellissa. Rituals-tuotteet käytössä hotellin puolesta. Näkymät ylhäältä merelle tai kaupungin suuntaan ovat hienot. Ja nyt pimeän aikaan valojen loiste kaupungissa on kokemus ylhäältä nähtynä. Yläkerran uima-allas oli odotettua virkistävämpi. Sade ja kylmä tuuli yhdistyivät altaalla joka on vain katoksessa suojassa. Tämä on enemmän kesän nautintoja haluavalle. Kuntosali on samassa kerroksessa. Saunan ja lämpimän suihkun kautta huoneeseen. Mielettömän ihanat sänky, peitto ja tyyny. Hyvää yötä saman tien. Aamupala oli runsas, monipuolinen.

Kaiken kaikkiaan keskinkertainen kokemus. Kattobaari oli mahtava, kuten myös aamiaisen omelettipiste. Sen sijaan katolla olevan uima-altaan vesi oli aivan liian kylmää tähän aikaan vuodesta (oli kuitenkin lämmitettyä). Muutenkin saunaosasto oli viimeistelemättömän ja hieman siivottoman oloinen. Huone oli viihtyisä, mutta todella pieni. Seinillä yms aika paljon käytön jälkiä ja ehkä viimeinen silaus huoneen siisteydestä puuttui. Ihan kivat näköalat. Aamupala oli kattava, mutta ei mitenkään erikoinen. Laadullisesti täysin keskiverto. Mikään ei sykähdyttänyt. Tällä rahalla odotin saavani enemmän.

Yksi yö superior huoneessa ja siitä ei moitittavaa, kylpyamme kruunasi illan. Menu- illallinen ravintolassa ja kyllä maistui! Palvelu oli erinomaista isot plussat siitä❤️ Miinukset: ”Spa” osasto oli pettymys. Ei yhtään tunnelmaa ja vesi/tila oli todella kylmä. Ei todellakaan menty uimaan. Eikö esim lämpölamput olisi kiva?😊 Kävimme illalla skybarissa mikä itsessään oli kiva, mutta minkä helvetin takia hotellinasiakkaat joutuvat maksaa narikkamaksun erikseen?

Huone yllättävän pieni, mutta kiva merinäkymä. Keskustaan pääsi hyvin ratikalla, pysäkit ihan vieressä. Autolle ei löydy parkkipaikkaa ihan läheltä. Kirjautuminen hotelliin kesti yllättävän kauan, perjantai-ilta, juhlaporukkaa paljon paikalla. Yöpymiseen sisältyi kolmen ruokalajin illallinen, joka oli hyvä. Flank steak ehkä vähän sitkeä ja liian raaka. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, varsinkin ravintolan puolella. Huoneessa kylpyhuone oli jäänyt vähemmälle siivoukselle. Vesi lainehti suihkun puolelta niin, että paljasti roskiksen takaa edellisen kävijän kasan tummia hiuksia. Kuivaajan käyttö arvelutti, koska lattia todella märkä. Pumppupulloistakaan ei oikein saanut tuotetta ulos. Hotellin aula ja ravintola olivat hyvät ja tilavat, kalusteet myös asialliset. Aamupala oli sen sijaan loistava 5/5.

Great place to stay in Helsinki. One of the tallest building besides the bay. Good service and food. Meeting venues are also Great. Nice view of the port from all over the hotel.

I was here as part of an airline crew. Rooms are clean and quiet. My bathroom needed a little refurbishment due to some mold, but was still in an acceptable condition. My colleagues were scheduled to leave early, while I extended my stay for a few hours. Unfortunately, hotel staff would only let me keep the room for an additional charge. A little more flexibility would have been appreciated.

Hotel offers great views, especially from the roof top bar and pool. My room had a poor view though even if on the 12 floor. Hotel has a good price/quality ratio but needs more staff to reception and restaurant during breakfast

We had a 3-course dinner reserved for the new year. We were given a room intended for disabled people. The room was really cold, even though the heating was on full blast. There was a blood stain on the pillowcase and a yellow stain on the blanket. There was no proper light in the bathroom. You had to wait more than an hour for the main course, the portion was really small and way too salty. Breakfast was okay, except for "bacon and scrambled eggs"

Where to start??? I put 3 stars for the service. Because for some reason even when I didn't accept the early check it, at the time of the check out I had a €68 charge pending. Thankfully Olekja (if I remember correctly the name) was so kind of solving it very quickly during the check out. About the breakfast service 😐 I couldn't say that it isn't a service of a 4 star hotel at all... (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF NATASHA THAT DID AN AMAZING JOB during Saturday's service). There were around 5 waitresses, and only Natasha was worrying about taking all the dishes very fast EVERYWHERE (not only in her section). The others were slow for such a busy service, and they didn't show any care... Oleshka, black hair, ponytail (or something similar, nobody was using their name tags until Sunday) was putting new cutlery and refilling the bowls WITHOUT GLOVES, and putting the food left in the old 🥣 in the new ones INFRONT OF THE GUESTS!!! THAT SHOULD BE ALWAYS A NO!!!! Also "chefs" putting the pastry or bread directly from the tray that they use to cook, even with the paper used to do it, infront of the guests... It looks 🤢 Fried eggs were not cooked well, the "warm" food was cold. They put the vegetables to cook at the same time, so the onions weren't almost even cooked. A blonde girl (Finnish) filling the stations, didn't even bother to put in the trolley some dirty dishes from a table near the station... Why? Some not very fresh food in the cold food station, some not clean stuff on the stations, food served looking not very presentable during the service that wasn't taking care (even though I stay almost 1 hour and a half on Saturday for breakfast). I would recommend the staff to work as a true team, not only focus on their station/section/task, and help each other. They also left DURING ALL THE SERVICE the door of the kitchen open, so you could see how they were cleaning everything, throwing the trash that they picked up from the tables... Sorry but that looks 🤢 also. Those doors can be opened easily without the need of having them open all the time for the guests to see what's going on in the dishwashing section of the kitchen. Also the reception fridge was empty Saturday (all day), except on Sunday that they fill it. If it wasn't for things I notice in the breakfast service I would have put a 5 stars. I will recommend to improve the things I mention above. And recognised the people that work really hard, as a team, as Natasha (gentle, very fast, detail oriented, small, kind of light orange/blonde hair). The House Keeping was great in the room, in the sauna and gym area. The views, and the place is very good. The open sky pool of the rooftop is great, I recommend it highly (even when it's snowing).

The room next to me is having party all night long and i was awaken 4 am in the morning. Soundproof isn’t so well as expected. The view is very nice in such a tall building, however the rooftop pool is quite small and crowded.

Rooftop pool was extemely cold due to weather but the sauna with a view was excellent Breakfast also excellent, so much choice.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Clarion Helsinki and was very disappointed. First, the rooms were smaller than expected. I suppose that is by hotel design, but I felt cramped for most of my stay. Second, was the pool and sauna. They kept the roof open to the pool making it extra cold. Despite booking the sauna which is required due to COVID, the sauna was full . The hotel was clearly letting people use it who had not booked. I was really looking forward to using it but it clearly was not safe. They also forgot to clean my room one day and I had to remind the front desk to do it despite coming back to my hotel late. There was a horrid smell coming from the drain. Finally, the cleaner threw out my breakfast voucher and I needed to get a new one. All around a bad stay. I had the hotel booked the following weekend and I cancelled my stay and will be staying at the Radisson across the bay which I will recommend to friends visiting the area next time.

I stayed here some years ago for an airline interview, and came back to post a review. The beds are incredibly comfortable, rooms are quiet and cozy, spacious and filling breakfast area is also nice. There is a pool at the top floor with a window below you where you can look down at the passing crowds. Pictured in my photo

Very nice modern hotel. Friendly, clean and comfortable. Our room request was respected :) A word of warning when visiting during Christmas season: They have cheesy christmas songs in the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner ☢️. Not for everyone!

The hotel is nice and everything that one can desire for a business hotel. Still, my rating is as such because I did not like the fact that you can only enjoy the view on the bay from the desk, and nothing could be seen from the bed. Also, the breakfast is OK but they only serve long coffee and cappuccino is at extra cost.

Great view, otherwise a disappointment. Breakfast was below par compared to other Helsinki hotels. The room was cold (as in freezing), dull and unremarkable (Master suite). Staff was rigid and not particularly welcoming. Restaurant & Bar availability less than expected (Panorama bar opens late, 4pm and closes early, at midnight), no lunch available in the hotel. All in all a disappointing experience with Clarion Helsinki.

You can find an elegant and modern hotel. If you are lucky you can have a sea view. Enjoy and relax your self at 16 floor with a beer in the bar

We had a night to spend in Helsinki and Clarion was absolutely the right choice. Beautiful pool and spa on the top floor and a bar with an amazing view. To top it all we also got a room on one of the higher floors without (I’m sure) paying extra for it. Lovely experience and will definitely come back or try some of the other locations

Probably one of the most comfortable hotels of Helsinki. The tram station is right in front of the hotel, so that it is no problem to get quickly to the city center or e.g. to the ferry terminal. The building itself is quite extraordinary. It is a kind of modern skyscraper with more than 16 floors. On top you have an amazing view over Helsinki. The pool in the 16th floor is an outdoor pool with open roof. As we've been there in winter, it was too cold for us to get used of it. The sauna is unfortunately separated for men and women (but this is quite normal in Finland). Our standard room was comfortable, but nothing special (in spite of the view outside). Staff was very friendly at all time. Talking in English to them was no problem. Breakfast was very valuable, with regional and international meals. All in all, for us the Clarion Hotel is the most recommended hotel in Helsinki!

The view from our room at the 13th floor was awesome towards the bay. Breakfast was good and it did not feel to be too crowded. The view from sauna and from the pool was even better. The glass bottom section of the pool was my favourit. Sky room bar great as well. We enjoyed our stay and will return some day.

We booked a room there for our last trip day, waiting our next day flight. That was literally the cherry on the cake. Close to the harbour you will have an industrial surrounding environnement. You will also enjoy the 16th floor bar, spa, fitness room and swimming pool area with view of entire Helsinki city.With the sun, it's just incredible, and stunning ... We leave Finland fully relaxed and with a "I want to come back" taste. Thanks to all for this good memories. Our next stop at Helsinki will surely be there next time !

Best spot in Helsinki! Modern style! Rooms a bit small but functional. Loved the location! Everything is in walking distance and you have the best view from the top level where the swimming pool invites you for a swim before breakfast! Loved to sit outside at the bar to watch the harbor. Highly recommended!

Pretty good, as was to be expected. My main peeve: Hot drinks section at breakfast should be organized quite in a bit more practical and pleasant way (no queuing for the machine with your smallish cups time and time again, please), and the variety and manner of tea available was a bit of a letdown (just one sort of black and one sort of green in bags). Otherwise ok for the price, yeah. The view was nice, the baths section adequate, besides the above the breakfast deserves at least some compliments, staff was fine, etc.

Standard European size rooms - may feel slightly tight to Americans. Well designed and efficient. Good food, friendly service. Beautiful views from the upper floors.

The location is nice (really nice view). I will definitely come back. Hotel is like 30 minutes away from the airport (takes a bit more time in rush hours).
