This place is amazing ! We were 4 friends hunting northern lights and we spent 1 week in Skoghus (18-01 to 24-01) and we saw the lights every night !!! The owner is super nice and helped us a lot with everything ! The main living room is charming and warm, the kitchen is very well equiped and very practical. Plus we had an incredible view on the river and surroundings ! We really enjoyed our stay, it was defenitely one of my best vacations, thanks Emil !!! P.S : I can't wait to see the new building =)

This place has a great value for money. The location of the hotel is amazing; If you are lucky, you have a room with a view on the sea, but if you don't, you can just walk to the beach 3 minutes away to enjoy it. Additionally, the common room is really cozy. One point of improvement is that the service was not the best, but still nothing to worry about.

Nice property! The bigger rooms were very nice. I saw a smaller room and it would be ok for one night. The kitchen is great ans the dining and living area is awesome. Washer and dryer for guests. It’s very organized here! Very clean and you can walk down to the water and along some small trails.

A beautiful place! Me and my girlfriend spent two nights here, our room was very comfortable and cute. Also the common areas are beautiful, the kitchen is well organized with all the things that you need to cook.

Very nice place with a shared relax area for all guests (also campers) to enjoy, it has a fireplace and overall it makes a very warm impression. The host is very helpfull and friendly, as we were taking a brake from motorcycles he offered us his own car to reach a hikeing spot!

Small site for a few campervans / tents. Facilities immaculate but only one toilet and one shower for whole site, including three motel-style rooms. Washer and dryer only 10nok each, which is incredibly cheap for Norway.

I appreciate very much that we had breakfast and linen included. I didn't like that the room was a little bit small and the bunk bed was a little bit roomy (maybe it was for kids, I don't know).

Perus siisti majoituspaikka, sopiva yhden yön majoitukseen ohi kulkiessa. Rakennukset melko vanhoja, äänieristystä ei juuri ole. Yhteiskäytössä olevat tilat samassa oman majoituksen kanssa, jolloin klo 23 illalla olohuoneessa soitettiin pianoa ja keittiöstä meteli kuului huoneeseen kun yritettiin nukkua. Rakennuksessa oli vain yksi suihku ja vessa, joihin sai jonottaa omaa vuoroa. WC paperi oli loppu. Grillikatos oli kivalla paikalla ja ainoastaan meidän käytössä.
