Delicious ice cream shop. They also have a lot of other sweet treats. There is limited seating inside but there are benches outside to sit and enjoy!

Came for ice-cream but they have tons of sugary options. Good standard of frozen delights and an olde tyme feel to match the old wild west of the town of Golden.

Some of my preferred flavors were not available when I visited. I tried the Pistachio ice cream and it was tasty.

This place has an amazing assortment of unique ice cream flavors. They have even have a Guinness flavor. They give large, hardy portions as well. Other items for sale include fancy chocolates, homemade fudge and peanut butter cups, and name-brand candy. If you’re in Golden and looking for a nice m, fun pick-me-up, Golden Sweets is the place to go. There’s something for everyone here.

Came here during the week in the Summer for a quick dessert. There were a few people in line, but there was plenty of staff to keep the line moving quickly. There's about 20 flavors that can be served in a cup or cone. They have all the traditional flavors of ice cream, but also unique flavors, and sorbets. Being they're all naturally made locally, I had to sample a few different flavors before deciding on the Funky Donkey and Reese's Peanut Butter in a cup. Ice cream was very velvety and creamy. I loved the uniqueness of the Funky Donkey ice cream. I wanted to taste the ice cream by itself, but they also have shakes, sundaes, and floats. I'll definitely come back for other flavors next time I'm in Golden.

Great ice cream, rude staff. Bought a few dishes of ice cream with my 2 children. As we were just about finished with the ice cream, the clock struck 10pm. To the second… The clerk immediately kicked us out. This left the kids feeling very sad and feeling like they did something wrong. I thought the communication was incredibly insensitive to the children having a quiet, enjoyable late nice ice cream. I’m sure you had much closing up to do. Would giving an extra 5 minutes to a few kids been the end of the world? There are ways to treat people and communicate that it’s closing time, your approach was NOT it. Thanks for ruining the kids’ experience! Brand ambassadors like the clerk we encountered is terrible for business and we won’t return. Advice… Be kind, especially to children, you were a kid once.

Ice cream was delicious, Omar helped us out and he was so nice and gave us samples of his recommendations. we also got the mango gelato and it tasted just like a mango. So good, this place is amazing!

This is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! I compared it to what I think currently has very good ice cream which is Little Man in Denver. To me this place was better. I got the Peanut Butter Chocolate and the Salted Caramel Oreo, which after trying both of them the Salted Caramel Oreo was the best. The service provided is also lightning quick. With a line out the door everyone got served in under 8 minutes which is insane. Along with many people asking to try flavors. The best service and ice cream in Golden for sure! We definitely will return.

Great little shop with just enough variety in ice cream to satisfy that little craving. Hard packed ice cream with the traditional flavors as well as some off the path flavors that were so good - be sure to ask for taster’s so you can get little samples of each before you dive in for a cup or cone. Prices are fair, shop is clean and staff are super friendly, loved it here and highly recommend everyone visiting Golden Colorado stop in for a little treat!

On a summer day this place gets really over run with tourists. My kids and I go in early spring or late fall and try to avoid being here. The Staff gets completely overwhelmed and it shows. However on a quiet early spring or mid to late fall day they are happy and relaxed and we adore them, They have lots of packaged and cased candies and the ice cream is our favorite. This is NOT a place to be if you have claustrophobia. It Is extremely limited in space especially in summer there's a few places to sit outside but not in the summer.

One stop shop for anything sweet in Golden! I really mean anything. Candy( any kind imaginable ), fudge, 24 flavors of ice cream and sorbet, sundays and shakes. If they bring it back, I’d recommend the Mexican chocolate! A must see if your visiting Golden and have a sweet tooth. A good place to grab a dessert after dinner or lunch.

This place is absolutely adorable! The guy behind the counter was super helpful and clearly had good taste in ice cream (Reese’s peanut butter cup and praline)!

Stopped by here for ice cream & ended up with that as well as a bunch of truffles, carmels & fudge 🍨🍬 there's a ton of different options & something there for everyone.

Stopped in for hot chocolate on a cold evening after dinner. After two times of heating milk in the microwave it was still cold and the food service worker was texting on his phone while making the “hot chocolate.”

The ice cream was great, but the public bathroom was disgusting. It reeked of pee and the toilet bowl and sink had rings of pink in them like they hadn’t been cleaned in several days.

Tasty and busy- for a good reason! Lots of selection of candy, ice cream and other treats (like pie!) and clearly a well loved spot. The outdoor seating area is lovely and all the staff were friendly and quick despite the lines.
